Gotta ask, is the Deprived class localized as Wretch outside of the U.S. or is this a crossmedia reference where your referring to another character or class from a different game?
I'd lean more towards a crossmedia reference, but it does seem possible to be different in different languages or translations (still probably meaning the same thing, just not the same word). I would say that the wretch/deprived, starting class has been done in other games, not just fromsoft/souls like games.
