My pet peeves are women who wear "hoochie mama" dresses/skirts to a church wedding and people who buy wedding cards/gift cards on their way to the wedding reception.
I’m from Alabama and love watching your videos. I have a big smile on my face each time. I relate to everything you say. Keep up the good work. Maybe those yankee people might learn something.
Many, many years ago my brother married an Heiress in Williamsburg Virginia. All of us were white jackets and black ties. It truly was a gorgeous wedding. Some of us, look better in tuxedos weather in morning tails or white jackets. Allow a set opportunity please.
Oh please, please, please send the present ahead!!! It is infinitely better than juggling a present, and having to appoint somebody to watch over the presents.
I love weddings. I certainly want to be invited to and attend as many as possible before my time is done. for myself, my one wedding was quite enough. it was picture perfect. unfortunately, the marriage was a disaster. should I have the good fortune to meet a woman who would consider me a worthwhile partner, and I the same of her, I hope she would be content with a simple civil ceremony, and a glorious reception.:)
So I'm mormon and I would love to see these women go to a mormon wedding reception where there is sometimes no meal only dessert and people sometimes show up in Jeans. It doesnt happen all the time...but it happens enough.
After doing weddings for 35 years, let me say, these ladies are spot on. NEVER, Congrats, to the bride. What then? I'm so happy for you.
The traditional saying is, "Best wishes for your future happiness."

No annulment in Missouri. Forget nitpicking. Let's talk obscene dances at the reception and sometimes IN THE CHURCH!
You can only have more than 7 bridesmaids if you have more than 7 sisters. Your sister has to be a bridesmaid.

"Oh, that's HORRENDOUS". You ladies remind me of my Southern grandmothers and great-aunts-- in a very good way!!
Mine too.

And the wedding is nowhere for a preacher to start preaching.
Tell Meghan Markle that.
Thank goodness for these genteel Southern ladies. Too bad that more of the proper decorum in society is being lost these days!
