This song kinda breaks my heart, how she misses her oldself and how she realized all she wants is her family and friends, the peaceful mind of a simple walking in street. It's seems like a personal song and it's like she invited us to her thoughts about her fame and personal life
I honestly believe that's the beauty in her growth, by getting to where she has its definitely helped her build an appreciation for the people around her. Love it, also appreciate you sharing how it made you feel

the amount of effort you put into this video, I see that. but yeah actually rose said it herself that the song is not about love and it's about herself and her younger self. idk if you saw it on the video but when she wrote her name it went from ROSÉ to roseanne (which is her name before ROSÉ from blackpink, her trainee, younger self) and i believe the one playing the piano is roseanne and the one standing is ROSÉ which is her current self. I really love the song and the lyrics, she did a really great job and SHE'S SOO PRETTY!!!
She's still Roseanne tho Rosé is just her stage name

This song gives me so much Taylor Swift vibes. I am so happy for Rosé. This song is very deep. She is talking to her past self and finding the answer of her life. In the bridge of the song. There are two versions of Rosé one is the present and one is the past. And that set is Rosé's childhood house where she grew up with that piano.

Like you said, thinking about how vulnerable Rosé was talking about songwriting this song hits differently. She also said how she thought about the outcome of releasing this song in English but I'm glad that she trusted herself. It was a great debut song showcasing her abilities as an artist. Blackpink consist of 4 members. Jisso, Jennie , Lisa and rose. Rose is the second member on release a solo after Jennie kim. Most of the music is on Korean so you will need subtitles on. But between the 4 members they speak 5 languages

I love the song but i must say i am very disappointed about the mv. The sets they created are amazing the quality is also amazing but the mv itself has no context its just blunt the mv sets are just there they just exist u know what i mean. I guess yg wanted to test sth new. But i just watched the mv just one time bcuz when it came out it was 6am in germany and i was hella tired and the sound was on minimum to not wake up anyone. That was just my first impression but now i hear it in full quality it is so good but the mv is still blunt but it has meaning to it.
