I use her more as a pure dmg sniper with dire hit. It's fascinating to see squishies instantly die after being sniped, and how some enemies' hp went from full to one thirds.

@@lv_tube3086 but her dmg is blockeble and her teammates can be wiped out before she fires her next atk. Mages are mostly consist aoe burst or dmg over time also called utility mages. But she can't truly burst down the squishies reliably cuz like i said it can be blocked and by the next shot your whole team could be wiped out. So she's the best as support roamer while having a mage in team along with a tank jg and tanky xp laner. She shines like this the most instead of playing as mage.
@@OrnylI think she’s best as support mage with dire hit if she is roamer since late game she deals lots of damage while her ult is a great support function and basically all her skills giving vision is also very good as a support but she also works as midlaner which is what I use her for, but keep in mind that most of the times she gets more supports than kills😂
Novaria can actually one shot if she Roams... The Build is: Dire Hit Pen Boots, CoD, Lightning Truncheon, Genius Wand, Divine Glaive, Holy Crystal.. You can replace Holy Crystal with either an Anti-Heal or less CD/poke (Necklace of Dur or Enchanted Talis) In max range and with Magic Worship, the damage is enough to one shot a squishy hero
Mystery shop is better for roamer so you can get items faster. you might have to build CoD right away to maximize it the passive early which also maximize the damage for LT. (Dire hit make make up for the extra execute damage). Genius Wand is not helpful because her main damage is not continuous. If you are into math of damage calculation, you can find that divine glaive is just enough for the much needed penetration.
The best counter mage for her is Xavier probably. The even bigger range and absolutely insane damage at the late game, also good CC is already making him good mage, but gotta wait until you get ench talisman or else run out of mana
Xavier is a good mage but in ma humble opinion, it's hard fo him to get into the enemy's backline to get nova. He is a decent mage but a good counter fo nova? Probable. But heroes like kadita & harley (which ik theyr not entirely pure mage role since theyr hybrid ass) r good counter fo nova. But again any mages that can close the distance btwn them n nova, like lunox, aurora, eudora & even xavier can one shot her (burst dmg heroes). So yeah. Thats ma humble opinion. Tq 😌
Feels pretty op, very long range, hard to dodge, brutal damage, if you try to chase she have slow skill and if try to gank she have ult. Just deletes hp. Can dominate side lanes easily.

@@tonystark3988 welp while its rlly hard to miss w simple s2 its fairly easy to hit w ult combined, but there is always a line like xavier ult wich can help you dodge the missile.
If you like using flameshot and getting targeted by enemy jg when playing mage then I have a tip for you. Most junglers finish their first blue around 35-40 sec. So just shoot a flameshot in that direction around that time and sometimes you’ll steal their blue without even seeing it. Now if you have a Franco or another proactive roamer to give vision you’ll also be able to steal it that way.
I don't know if it's a feature or what but after casting your 2nd² and then press flameshot without aiming it will follow the 2nd Skill and they're just split second apart, perfect for bursting heroes without much magic defense. Hope this helps
It's normally a visual bug, but atleast it is just that The effect of Nova's ult still affects the enemies towards where you aim the skill towards, not where the visual asset normally goes towards. The visual asset could've been based on where Nova's currently facing, and normally, you wouldn't see this bug due to the heroes normally facing towards which direction you casted your skill, but there may be a bug where Nova doesn't "normally face the proper direction" of the casted skill due to the direction where Nova's heading
as someone who has a 90 wr with novaria, I would say to nerf her would be to drastically increase skill 2 mana cost, so that you can't necessarily spam her skills, make the base damage less but the scaling higher and I think that would be quite balanced Edit: This would also encourage players to actually aim instead of just spamming and hoping something lands, and that her late game would be more powerful due to higher scaling
I wanted to ask you. I've tried novaria and got 9 stacks just by throwing it. But now it seems like novaria's movement speed is much slower than before because i used the same method to get higher stacks & it's never working. Am i right ?

I rarely use her now Maybe because sometimes I doubt that my aim won't be effective and gonna miss alot (even though in classic I can use her well) and sometimes my team doesn't need a mage like novaria
Novaria is a scary mage in the current meta ability to one shot a squishy hero such as a mage or mm is truly satisfying and absolutely terrifying to them. But Novaria is vulnerable to someone like Fanny or Ling, and in terms of being a complete or even the best mage, she is not. Unfortunately, Novarias abilities are more on bursting squishy heroes, but she lacks cc for her to land her 2nd skill much easier. The best mages such as Yve or Xavier have cc that can help them finish off killing the enemies. But overall she is really good, she can definitely pressure Kadita, Yve, and Xaviers existence in this current meta
we have almost the same exact build. but i go for blood wings over gem since the movespeed bonuse helps her gather more stacks for 2nd skill plus hp and shield. she has low magic scaling so gem is kinda inefficient. also i buy elegant first to maximize its passive then go for book.

All his videos are all about knowing the heroes and understanding how to use them properly, even if you watching a old video you can understand the mechanics of the game, and the best tips for winning, I only pick tank when I think I have a decent team but when I engage the fight my team runs out of there, even if I died a few times at the beginning of the match but at the end I make a big play just trying to ignore them messages and focusing on my job, it’s hard like a tank to make a big play when you’re teammates sitting on the base scared of the opponents even if you show vision, Good luck everyone and try to play every role of heroes and do it safe in the beginning, don’t get scared to play something new if this Betosky tells you what you have to do, 😂I’m sick of mage and jg or mm argues each other who’s playing the role, if you play safe all the game you can do a big play at the end, you already know from his videos 😂😂😂😂(I wrote a bit too much, but it’s all about patience)🤷♂️😂😂😂😂

I use her more as a pure dmg sniper with dire hit. It's fascinating to see squishies instantly die after being sniped, and how some enemies' hp went from full to one thirds.

Beatrix is more of a substitute... Selena still have to go melee fight.

Mages are mostly consist aoe burst or dmg over time also called utility mages.
But she can't truly burst down the squishies reliably cuz like i said it can be blocked and by the next shot your whole team could be wiped out.
So she's the best as support roamer while having a mage in team along with a tank jg and tanky xp laner.
She shines like this the most instead of playing as mage.

@@OrnylI think she’s best as support mage with dire hit if she is roamer since late game she deals lots of damage while her ult is a great support function and basically all her skills giving vision is also very good as a support but she also works as midlaner which is what I use her for, but keep in mind that most of the times she gets more supports than kills😂

The Build is: Dire Hit Pen Boots, CoD, Lightning Truncheon, Genius Wand, Divine Glaive, Holy Crystal..
You can replace Holy Crystal with either an Anti-Heal or less CD/poke (Necklace of Dur or Enchanted Talis)
In max range and with Magic Worship, the damage is enough to one shot a squishy hero
Mystery shop is better for roamer so you can get items faster. you might have to build CoD right away to maximize it the passive early which also maximize the damage for LT. (Dire hit make make up for the extra execute damage).
Genius Wand is not helpful because her main damage is not continuous. If you are into math of damage calculation, you can find that divine glaive is just enough for the much needed penetration.

The best counter mage for her is Xavier probably. The even bigger range and absolutely insane damage at the late game, also good CC is already making him good mage, but gotta wait until you get ench talisman or else run out of mana
Xavier is a good mage but in ma humble opinion, it's hard fo him to get into the enemy's backline to get nova. He is a decent mage but a good counter fo nova? Probable. But heroes like kadita & harley (which ik theyr not entirely pure mage role since theyr hybrid ass) r good counter fo nova. But again any mages that can close the distance btwn them n nova, like lunox, aurora, eudora & even xavier can one shot her (burst dmg heroes). So yeah. Thats ma humble opinion. Tq 😌

novaria is a really good hero to pick when the enemy has heroes with low mobility and when the enemy team has a squishy draft.

Feels pretty op, very long range, hard to dodge, brutal damage, if you try to chase she have slow skill and if try to gank she have ult. Just deletes hp. Can dominate side lanes easily.

If you like using flameshot and getting targeted by enemy jg when playing mage then I have a tip for you.
Most junglers finish their first blue around 35-40 sec. So just shoot a flameshot in that direction around that time and sometimes you’ll steal their blue without even seeing it. Now if you have a Franco or another proactive roamer to give vision you’ll also be able to steal it that way.
Novaria is more of a roamer than mage tbh, she can rotate very fast and can poke very well

I don't know if it's a feature or what but after casting your 2nd² and then press flameshot without aiming it will follow the 2nd Skill and they're just split second apart, perfect for bursting heroes without much magic defense. Hope this helps

It's normally a visual bug, but atleast it is just that
The effect of Nova's ult still affects the enemies towards where you aim the skill towards, not where the visual asset normally goes towards. The visual asset could've been based on where Nova's currently facing, and normally, you wouldn't see this bug due to the heroes normally facing towards which direction you casted your skill, but there may be a bug where Nova doesn't "normally face the proper direction" of the casted skill due to the direction where Nova's heading

as someone who has a 90 wr with novaria, I would say to nerf her would be to drastically increase skill 2 mana cost, so that you can't necessarily spam her skills, make the base damage less but the scaling higher and I think that would be quite balanced
Edit: This would also encourage players to actually aim instead of just spamming and hoping something lands, and that her late game would be more powerful due to higher scaling
Her late game is already op enough with the max cool downs and slow enhanced w her first skill and ofc low cd ult
also more cd so you dont spam and make the enemies stay at base in late game
I wanted to ask you. I've tried novaria and got 9 stacks just by throwing it. But now it seems like novaria's movement speed is much slower than before because i used the same method to get higher stacks & it's never working. Am i right ?

Novaria is a scary mage in the current meta ability to one shot a squishy hero such as a mage or mm is truly satisfying and absolutely terrifying to them. But Novaria is vulnerable to someone like Fanny or Ling, and in terms of being a complete or even the best mage, she is not. Unfortunately, Novarias abilities are more on bursting squishy heroes, but she lacks cc for her to land her 2nd skill much easier. The best mages such as Yve or Xavier have cc that can help them finish off killing the enemies. But overall she is really good, she can definitely pressure Kadita, Yve, and Xaviers existence in this current meta

we have almost the same exact build. but i go for blood wings over gem since the movespeed bonuse helps her gather more stacks for 2nd skill plus hp and shield. she has low magic scaling so gem is kinda inefficient. also i buy elegant first to maximize its passive then go for book.

I use burn burst cd build...Added glowing wand for first skill and 2nd...prioritise speed increase item and done...Got 7 stack and literally hurt
You'll have a better chance of hitting skills by aiming on the "right side" of the enemy hero bec of the hitbox.

All his videos are all about knowing the heroes and understanding how to use them properly, even if you watching a old video you can understand the mechanics of the game, and the best tips for winning, I only pick tank when I think I have a decent team but when I engage the fight my team runs out of there, even if I died a few times at the beginning of the match but at the end I make a big play just trying to ignore them messages and focusing on my job, it’s hard like a tank to make a big play when you’re teammates sitting on the base scared of the opponents even if you show vision, Good luck everyone and try to play every role of heroes and do it safe in the beginning, don’t get scared to play something new if this Betosky tells you what you have to do, 😂I’m sick of mage and jg or mm argues each other who’s playing the role, if you play safe all the game you can do a big play at the end, you already know from his videos 😂😂😂😂(I wrote a bit too much, but it’s all about patience)🤷♂️😂😂😂😂

The best feeling while playing Novaria is when you hit every opponent with the ult then al your team is rampaging on them

Poke: magic shoes, enchanted talisman, clock of destiny, lightning truncheon, ice queen wand & glowing wand.
**This build focuses on harassing enemy team esp durin team fight/gank
One-shot build:
arcane boots, clock of destiny, lightning truncheon, divine glave, holy crystal & blood wings
ps: u can change the shoe to genius wand in mid-late game (she still have decent movement speed from her 2nd skill)
Support-poke:
magic shoes, enchanted talisman, clock of destiny, lightning truncheon, divine glaive/holy crystal & fleeting time
ps: you can change the shoe to blood wings/genius wand
**This build focuses on poking enemy + opening map fo better vision

I think it's a bug. I experienced the same whenever not aiming using the end of the pointer there is a bigger chance to miss even if it's on the right path.
