Apologies for not covering discounts (for students, etc). Everything in this video refers to “standard” pricing but here is what I know about discounts:
Students and people over 70 years old: 50%
People over 80 years: 80% discount
For Žiogas card, you’ll need to tell the person selling it to you what kind of discount category you are in. In the app, you can change the settings yourself. Just remember to carry proof of your discount (like student ID) with you in case Kontrole comes to check.

I’m not sure. There are open jobs for bus drivers here but the ability to speak some Lithuanian is required. For Vilnius you could try to email [e-mail] with “Vairuotojas“ as the subject.
But they may not answer if you write in English…
Or call [phone] (again it might be Lithuanian only)

I’m not sure exactly where dorms are but the 29G bus will get you from airport to university

When using the ziogas app do I have to scan the barcode again when transferring to a different bus within 30 minutes?

You can also use Google Maps to locate which bus is going to where you are going, what time it passes, and at which bus stops you should board and at which you should get off.

At least with my experience of Vilnius, google maps public transportation information is not always accurate and up to date.

If the date is valid it is still valid. they are just not sold anymore. I have a card of an even older type and it still works
