Great review as always I wasn't sure when I see this but after downloading it I'm quite enjoying using this mod done a few different missions like the cat and bin fire but would take a long time to make any kind of money with it I also like how the cab on the man actually moves as it would in real life great work by the modder for this
A nice touch would be to have the option to leave the cab doors open when the fire units are parked in their building.All fire equipment in my town has cab doors open to allow crew to have quick entry on an emergency call.
the ELHF has that option. Hope someone does that on a modded version of the vehicles. And I also expected that considering one of the modders is a volunteer firefighter.

Absolutely love the addition to my farms in buck county (works on this modded map)
Apologies for the rant, great video and content as always and I actually enjoy the idea of having this in game, I was literally setting up a separate farm in multi-player while playing solo named Fire Department just to do a start from nothing contractor style work to build up into farming, am currently trying to load regular Elmcreek map to see if my crashing issues change as well, otherwise everything worked great lastnight when playing so I have no idea where the problem itself is or conflicting mods could possibly be...
Thinking about it two things that would make this mod better first idea actually have to fill the fire trucks with water and secondly have the engine rev up as you pump the water through the hose or have to turn the pump on to get water out just my opinion

This is great! A lot of farmers also work or volunteer for their local fire departments.
This mod would suite Frontier perfectly.
With an update on the game itself and a recent update on Frontier, you might want tp try opening your Frontier game.

I really hope that with more in depth mods like this coming to Console that we'll soon get other PC mods like the manual attaching mod.

Brilliant. More Missions the better. Farming Contracts and now Fire Services Emergency Contracts. Be cool to have Animal contracts too, Forresty Contracts, post storm or flood contracts (to clean places with Construction and forrestry tools etc) vehicles etc. You can still do your own sand box farming and farm plan. But whats the harm in doing farming contracts when your farm is quiet and ''Volunteer'' emergency work. Some fishing would be cool too.
I probably won’t use it, just not my thing. But it’s awesome that these mods are coming. We always have a choice of what to do, and this just opens the game up for more play options.
I hope someone makes American style fire trucks with American stole sirens etc. But pretty cool. I'm sure my boss will be all over doing this on our next MP session
Hey mate! If you press R1 and triangle the read amber “warning lights” flash, that’s how you get the lights at the back to work… there isn’t a help window for it, try it out, pretty cool.
Well I am very happy to see I still farm alot and enjoy fs22. Been gaming this since it first come out years ago. Giants is trying to cover a huge fan base it does not effect farming
Under sound is where the pager setting is but it doesn't allow you to use it glitch
To get the extra lights (orange lights) on back of the firetrucks, press R1 and triangle 👍🏻
It's just R1 and triangle and to get a mission to pop up it's R1 and L1 and triangle and also to cancel the mission

And if on Xbox, its RB and Y! it doesnt show in the options menu tha k you. I was pushing every button but the A, B, X, Y buttons. lol
But how do you turn on the flashing beacons
Sometimes with the settings, you have to restart the game to have them show up. I have had this in the past and have been thoroughly confused until I restart the game and it's there.
Personally wont be using this on my current save game,
But i love the idea 💡 its got me pre planning a silver run forestry/firefighting theme 😂
I really think its awsome how we can piece together police, fire, ambulance and traffic control into our equipment or game it makes it more interesting
I only really play this game to play with machines/equipment so really love these random additions 😂🎉❤

The emergency settings are in the general settings under the sound settings, it just won’t let you change them. PS5
I do stuff like mining and terrafarming in the farming sim than actual farming. Hope more stuff come into the game than just farming. The game is evolving.
Oh if you have engine running you can turn on monitor and get out and use hose on the fire as well
Great review MrSealyP, I really like what this mod is bringing and the future potential it unlocks!
At its most basic level it's a new type of contract / mission generator, a way to earn money, and that's not a bad thing. Much like with the existing contracts system or say the variety of productions mods out there it's completely optional and at the user's discretion.
From a realism standpoint it adds in things like field fires, bale and pallet fires, fallen trees and oil spills which absolutely are issues farmers may have to deal with from time to time. Jeremy Clarkson famously had that bale fire incident as a prime example.
Granted those are still mission scenarios you do as an emergency worker, but what it also does is open up the possibility of a "disaster mechanic" to the game! Imagine if there was a chance your field or bales could catch on fire and if you don't deal with it you could lose money, crop and bales!
At the end of the day I think this is a great addition to Farm Sim, whether I use it much or not it's always good to have more options and choices!
Hey mrsealyp you can start the mission from the fire engines if you push both the L1 and R1 and and at the same time push triangle you can start the mission if that will help
Same thing can be done to cancel the mission
Being a firefighter this is a Great mod .. I wish they made a good uk firefighting simulator game I know a few farmers who are also retained firefighters so it is realistic for some 👍🏻
It's cool but I hope some western style or American fire trucks come out... It will work in my forestry map for a surplus fire truck light rig lol
Wonder when we gonna get more crop types to base game or baby animal. Season like fs19? There is so much more to do before firefighting.
Helpful tip, buy couple trucks, leave scattered across the map, give them “sections”
A placeable fire station would be cool, for naps that don’t have one.
Pity you have to start the sineo would be great if you got random calls automatic once you have the update installed as in real life you don't purposely have to start a fire
You get automatically calls, only the settings are bugged at the moment for the mod so that is that

the setting is buged, you can see them but you need to go up and not down(that workes for me) if you go down it skipes it and jumps up but if you go up you end up under the settings, but it jumps over the settings and it is a bug for sure

I don't know about console but I seen the video by 82 studio that the tlx 1982 truck built as a firetruck works with this pack
I'm hoping this mod paves the way for livestock production facilities (butcher shops, slaughterhouses, etc). I can't imagine Giants allowing a recovery from a wreck, but still being opposed to real-world productions for pigs and beef cattle.
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to bring butcher shops and slaughterhouses in the game. :(
great review. interesting addition to the game. curious if with the down tree you could just show up with a Trex600 and grind it all away 🤔
That probably works, what also works is just push it away around 150 meters and the progression will finish too.
I had a fallen tree in my roleplay map on the site where my base was and I just came with my swap body truck and just pushed it away and mission complete just needed to drive 50m to it's parking bay
My game keeps freezing and crashes randomly when trying to play since update been dealing with this all damn day, ended trying a new save on georja farms went well for about 20mins setup a makeshift fire department and bought new fire truck with the water cannon on top, got within 100 ft of objective and whammy got stuck a second sound went all glitchy and crashed me out to xbox main, i tried career mode this instance happened in multiplayer mode, dont understand if this update isnt fully integrated yet or what, and is anyone else on consoles having similar issues???
The settings in the menue are there, but as soon you scroll to them, the menue scrolls automatically back to the top. I don't think it is meant to be that way. 😉
R1 + Triangle activate the backside flashers on the TLF. That's not mentioned in the help window.
Don't forget Hold R2 at the same time. Was trying it out earlier
According to a discord post they are working on a fix for the console menue settings.
I noticed the same thing on ps5... The settings are there, but you can't access them to change.
And i don't get any random pager jobs... So it's like it's off.
Couldn't figure out 1st fire... It wouldn't go out with TLF3000 or hand sprayer.... Finally gave up on it.
2nd bale fire was difficult, but was able to eventually put it out.
3rd car wreck also difficult to see where to use/put tools like JOL or cutter, but was able to finally complete them...
Still experimenting.... FOR SCIENCE!
8:45 there was a woman hanging on a tractor ladder fell off and the machine ran over her lower body recently

It's has been confirmed that the settings not being accessible in the menu is a bug and it's being worked on as we speak

@@pittbulldawg9345 I watch tons of videos and some of them are from years ago and some are several months old. I make it a habit of putting the date so the content creator can see when I actually watched the video. In comments, it's basically for the same reason. I want the person I'm commenting to to know exactly when I saw their comment. 😄

To turn on the orange lights pn the back on xbox hold RB and pres Y, on playstation press R1 and triangle, i dont know forpc
It is a brill mod the only issue i have is im trying to do a rolplay series and the pop up ruins it so it would be great to be able to turn the random events off unfortunatly untill this is the case i cannot use it witch is a shame but i will use it in my own games and not my audiances series

from what i see its a keybind that enables the rear traffic system the only light that does not enable at the rear.
with a controller: use RB/R1+Y/Triangle to use the lights that won't turn on, those are the orange strobes.

be careful if you accept a field fire while you are doing a baling contract you will lose any rows you haven't baled yet and you won't be able to finish the contract

Well if they ever have barn fires on the game or other fires and more realism we'll then this pack should work great lol but not at moment it's not needed for me any way lol 😂

Total noob here to fs22. Im on ps5 few questions how do you run 🏃♂️ in the game? Can you speed up the AI ploughing fields? Having a nightmare open AI menu to make ai work for you . Cheers
To run on ps5 you hold r2 and move. The ai speed depends on the equipment and the cruise control speed you have set

Is this really needed in a farming game? Not taking anything away from the modders, just not sure how this helps in the fields
It pushes the limits of the game engine and the game itself. Ultimately, it can lead to better FS games in the future.
I know this isn't firefighter sim but it's another thing to do in FS that adds a little bit more realism. I am from the US and I am a farmer and I am a volunteer fire department that half of the members are farmers. Mind you this is in rural Wisconsin. I understand your comment if this fire dlc is needed or not. The nice thing it's a mod so you have the choice to use it or not.
Nov. 9, 2023 Apparently you've never needed any type of "emergency vehicle" in RL, so you can not be expected to see how valuable this mod is for FS. Farmers are people too. They have vehicle accidents, both car and farm equipment and they have fires of all types in RL. This mod just allows those WHO WANT TO USE IT, the opportunity to do so. Like Mr. Sealyp says, .... if you don't want to use it, then don't! It's not a requirement to play the game, it's just an additional feature for those that want to use it. Take care.
Like he said, if you don't want it, don't use it. But, in my area almost every farmer between 25 & 50 some years old are volunteer firefighters. I used to as well, but had to drop out due to health conditions. But I still go help out at the station with cleaning of building and apparatus, maintenance, laundry, inventory, or just to hang out with whoever might be there. If I'm on my way home from work and I see that there's a bunch of vehicles there, I'll check with command and see if there's anything I can do to assist. Often I'll help when they return to get trucks back ready for next call. It is very much a community dependent operation.
1st of all I do realize that a lot of farmers are volunteer firefighters. 2nd I have been lucky enough not find myself in a situation where my life dependent on needing to be rescued. 3rd I asked a question didn't mean to jurk everybody's under shorts up the cracks of their A** WOW there dustbunny. 4th I realize is a mod not a dlc not sure it's worth 200 mgb's or not. Never said I hated the mod or the idea either.

tornadoes has been connected to farming for so long it's absolutely found in its culture. Would it be awesome if they added tornadoes in the Farming Simulator 22 all the way up to EF0- EF5 strength
The emergency pack is no good in Hickory Valley as you don’t get burning bales nor field fire

I'm having an issue I can't load my Xbox one fs 22 maps past 20% then it freezes while loading ? Any ideas on how it can be corrected or is it a Giants issue 🙄🤔 ?

@@3Swingman86 not yet but I did catch a glimpse of a possibility. Some maps are having mod issues or interferences I did 1 time get the extra decorations to load but I went to use them on my pond and it said this mod can't be used on map so I think it's not are console's I think it's the maps and mods some need updates or fixed . I take certain mods off I get on . Freezes a sec about 20% in on download or it will just close game . As I observed more I think it's the maps and mods compatibility

Giants just updated, you have a mod conflict. If you are on PC just create a clean mods folder.

Yeah an NEF (emergency doctor) and the RTW (ambulance) would be a perfect addition to the pack. I love the pack but the car accident scenario feels empty with out more emergency vehicles. And yeah I do the get the police cars and put them there trick

Nov. 9, 2023 I am doing a HAPPY DANCE for console players. 💃 This is soooo exciting. And to think, you just did a pretend Fire Rescue improvising everything you now have!!! Don't worry about those nay sayers that "poo poo" using this in any of your game plays. They apparently have never had need of an "emergency vehicle" in RL so they'll never understand how appropriate this mod is for FS. I've just leased one of the fire trucks, it won't let me go onto the settings in the main game settings page for the emergency pack. It skips right over it. Maybe that's because I've leased it? See if I get any jobs 😊
