The Atari 2600 junior design actually looks quite nice imo

Hands down one of the best videos you've ever made. This really does bring it home what an amazing console the VCS was and the difference between some of these games is incredible.

Cool video! Quite fascinating to see how with time the Atari VCS/2600's games evolved so much. Your examples are all spot on.

Solaris is definitively the 2600's "holy crap" moment during it's commercial life. Limitation breeds creativity and it doesn't get much more limited on console power than the 2600. Unless someone out there is seriously considering creating a new homebrew game for the RCA Studio II. ;-)

Believe it or not there are quite a few Studio II homebrews, all by the guy who did a lot of the original games!

Excellent video. It's given me more to add to my list of cartridges to get.

Outstanding video, I'd love to see you do a follow up with homebrew games.

While it may not be isometric and probably should've been used in a different game, I'm impressed by the pseudo-scaling of 2600 Zaxxon more than the isometric view of 2600 Desert Falcon.

You forgot tennis against super sports tennis wich was a mile better then tennis with better graphics and tons of features including putting your name on the screen😁
By the way i didn’t knew the largest commercial 2600 games was 32KB wich is incredible considering even early nes games weren’t that big😁
