On behalf of Casa de Mayan's owners and I, Marlene Habib, author of David Cassidy: Crazy over you in Saratoga, we'd like to thank everybody who dropped by on November 21st for the open house at David's former home in Fort Lauderdale Florida, when we unveiled a beautiful bronze plaque that will forever attach him to the home he lived in in the latter part of his years. The plaque, which includes a heartfelt inscription and touches on David's love of Florida and his home and fans, is situated on a wall by the bougainvillea vine David painstakingly care for while living there. The plaque was specially made, is 18 in wide and 2 ft long, and is mounted on a wall by one of the side entrances that is visible from the driveway. It's a wonderful tribute to a one-of-a-kind artist and horseman. 💝
Hi Marlene, thank you so much for being at Casa de Mayan for the Open House, for making and putting such a beautiful plaque on David's house, for writing all those books about him, and for all that you have done and do for David! He really deserves it! 😀
I wonder why the video doesn't mention this is the former home of DAVID CASSIDY.........wouldn't this draw more attention?
His picture is even hanging on the wall near the top of the stairs.

Kathy Rogers Yes-there is memorabilia and David’s picture everywhere in the home but what I was saying is in this video, regular folks, who are just watching the video, or perhaps who aren’t fans, most likely wouldn’t even notice that
