I bought Tim's plans and made one earlier this year. This is, without a doubt, my most favorite workstation ever. I sold my MFT3 shortly after making it. Thanks Tim!!
No video of this build, I didn't know it would be such a success, or even function at all. It took months and lots of trial and error, so it wasn't exactly very straightforward. But i did take pictures which I included in the step by step plans I made for it and sell on my website.
Timothy Wilmots Oh sorry Timothy. I was actually asking my question of the other person who commented that they bought your plans and made the MFTC themselves. I am thinking about buying the plans and building your design so I wanted to see how they got on. Love the idea by the way.
I would love this vid ! I went and ordered it. Paid $20 for 3 plans with PayPal account. (payment was proposed in "euros). So my plans are in the mail from Nederland ! I am happy. I've been looking for something like this for a while !
I built this setup for when i work on location initially, but even in the workshop it comes in handy. Currently i am building something that has many cut-outs which cannot be done on a slider. Or when i assemble cabinets i like to use this setup so i have access from below to screw or clamp. And then not everybody has a slider in their garage, with this setup anybody with limited room and basic quality tools can quickly set up a workstation that is also capable of handling large sheets.
Brilliant! Festool should pay you for that design. Much better than lugging around my MFT. I was thinking of putting wheels on my MFT but your design is much better. Thanks for sharing!
I started out laughing at that cart being so tiny.. what would you be making? Doll house cabinets? THEN, you cranked out those extension tables! NICE! One of the best setups. OLD vidio, but still an amazing setup! Thanks.
Excellent. Once I receive my new TS55 REQ I will build one from the plans I order from your website. I've watched this video numerous times and continue to enjoy it.
I purchased your plans about 2 years ago and always get compliments on the set up when someone sees it for the first time.. best portable work bench out there!
mrrubot900 Nope, i supply the sketchup model with the plans but it's more of an extra help. Plus sketchup is a free program anyway, so it doesn't hurt taking a look.
I ordered plans today! At least, I think I did. A page popped up that said it didn't go thru, but it looks like it did. Anyway... I'm hoping the expansion wing supports are included in the plans I bought. This is such a great design. I can't wait to build it!
This is very slick. Really enjoy your work and videos, would love to see some more put up regularly. I think you're one of the most innovative people on youtube.
Wow! I liked your previous ideas, too but this portable table is exceptional. I love how the individual parts of it are working together with no waste of space or functionality. If you find a better solution for fixing the sled of the saw on the table instead of simple dogs it will evolve from great to perfect! I think you should propose this table to Festool. Awesome!
Incredible!! So well thought out. Every time you showed a new aspect I thought wow it can't get any better than this....and then you brought out a new function again and again! Ingenious.
This is incredible! Great versatility. I'm looking for something I can use in my small garage that will double as a workbench, assy table and out feed table. I think this is it! Need to look at it a little further...want to make sure I can set height same as my DeWalt work sight table saw...I'm sure I can. THANK YOU!!
Excellent functional mobile workbench. The video editing is fantastic as well. I just purchased the plans and can’t wait to start building it over the Christmas holiday! California, USA
I looked at that and thought it would be around £1200 going off Festool's pricing, it was only at the end when I realised you'd built it your self. Brilliant design and what a great tool.
If you are in the trade and do detailed joinery, Carpentry or Cabinet making and work on site that £1200 would be well worth it. I do accurate workshop cabinet making and Festool is worth the price when you consider its accuracy and quality. Bosch, Makita and Dewalt are all great as well but it really is horses for courses.
Super! Very well thought out all For a complete happiness, not enough yet to make the holes and mount under the tabletop. And it will be + mobile table router / saw
Ya, I'd love to have shorts version of those pants (live in Florida). Don't worry about your English, it's fine. I'm Swedish, so I can pick up some German words, but that's it. Those Festools are awesome. I'm making this MFTC. I just have to make the tilting table top and it's done....cheers
Google saies, 34 Inches = size 50 in europ. If you buy it in germany it costs 45,10€ in Austria 45,48€ inclouding taxes, with out shipping. This are 48,81$ to 49,22$.
Fabulous! This is so well thought through, designed and built, I thought it was a bought-in product. I must make one! Thanks very much indeed for making this available, and for all your hard work. Alan Y
Wonderfully done! I am starting woodworking, and I have only a small area to work in. In that sense your bench is the type I need. But, I think I would have to remodel it more than quite a bit, since I can be very rough and I noticed considerable wiggling of the frame right after you clamped the work pieces to the side. Also, I will have more hand tools, so more drawers. Still, you have great ideas, maybe one day I'll get a plan from you. Thanks and keep the vids coming!
This thing is amazing. As someone who shares my garage with others, this would be perfect. I'd like to build a version of this for miter saw table extensions. I can't always afford the space of a 6 or 8 foot long table, but it would be awesome to be able to whip out extensions and index them to my miter saw cart via the tracks whenever I need the extra support on the ends.
plunder1956 what I like is the portability eliminates two thirds of the trips back to the truck im working on designing my own setup like this but ill be building it from scratch. I like festool but as a handyman I just cant aford it. I finaly bought a Makita track saw and all I can say is how did I do without it
I liked those over sized quas dogs to get 90. I use the rail dogs but I like yours better as it would be way faster switching between rail sizes. Have not seen them in Canada yet. Will keep an eye out. Great vid as well. Nice stuff.
Dude... Just continue to build this great stuff you are building. And thanks for selling plans. I have very few space in my house, and having something mobile like that will probably work best for me. Already bought the pack with all plans, and if you continue do make so great stuff, I'll continue to build them and buy the plans from you. Thanks a lot.
Wonderful design! I purchased plans in english for this from your website but when the download completed, it was in german. I sent you an email about it, just wanting to try everything. Thanks in advance
Amazing, to all the time you spent on it, taking you to the finished product. Wish I could afford to buy the festool brand tools I would so totally pay for the plans for this table even for a portable station for other tools. Thank you for your dedication and very impressive video
Hi Evelinda, There are people who built it without having any Festools, instead of making drawers for systainers you can just make regular drawers for hand tools or other. There are some examples on my website.
Great portable work station! I have ordered the plans and hope to get started soon! I'll send pics of my efforts. Thank you for sharing your expertise, time, and skill. Making videos is time consuming I appreciate the detail of your videos. Keep up the great work!!
some engineer definitely earned their money on this one.. amazing.. if i were in this field professionally this would be a must have. its unfortunate to come across something like this thats just too expensive for a home owner or hobbyist to justify after having already invested in other tools.. if i were starting my own business festool would be the overwhelming product in my shop..
Excellent tools, clean and precise cuts with out much sawdust, great video. excelentes herramientas, cortes limpios y precisos, sin tanto aserrin, gran video. ottimi strumenti , tagli netti e precisi senza molta segatura , grande video .
I simply used a 20mm cutter and the LR32 system, the latter is only required if you want to make the the hole grid perfectly square. Otherwise there are more simple methods!
I'm a professional carpenter of 40 years and that is the best portable setup I have seen..Well done..Bill
Being a kitchen fitter this has to be the best home made portable bench system I've seen. I will now be buying a set of plans
I bought Tim's plans and made one earlier this year. This is, without a doubt, my most favorite workstation ever. I sold my MFT3 shortly after making it. Thanks Tim!!
Great to hear that!
Do you have a video of your build process or some pics?
No video of this build, I didn't know it would be such a success, or even function at all. It took months and lots of trial and error, so it wasn't exactly very straightforward.
But i did take pictures which I included in the step by step plans I made for it and sell on my website.

Compared to the Ultimate Workbench this is so much more practical.
Especially the extension tables.
Just BRILLIANT!
Now that is a bad ass looking workbench, workstation, table saw, clamping device ,whatever the heck you want to call it. I am impressed!
I would love this vid ! I went and ordered it. Paid $20 for 3 plans with PayPal account. (payment was proposed in "euros). So my plans are in the mail from Nederland ! I am happy. I've been looking for something like this for a while !
Very cool design. When my wife takes over the garage for her work, I'll be making one of these.
I built this setup for when i work on location initially, but even in the workshop it comes in handy. Currently i am building something that has many cut-outs which cannot be done on a slider. Or when i assemble cabinets i like to use this setup so i have access from below to screw or clamp.

Brilliant system!
I just bought a TS 75. This is going to be a future project as my system grows.
Thank you for posting.
Best mobile work station I've seen. Absolutely a must have. Organized.
Brilliant! Festool should pay you for that design. Much better than lugging around my MFT. I was thinking of putting wheels on my MFT but your design is much better. Thanks for sharing!

Excellent. Once I receive my new TS55 REQ I will build one from the plans I order from your website. I've watched this video numerous times and continue to enjoy it.
Brillant concept. Well done. Prefect for a DIY guy who has no dedicated workspace (like me).
I purchased your plans about 2 years ago and always get compliments on the set up when someone sees it for the first time.. best portable work bench out there!
Hey thanks for the message, glad you like it.
Very Nice - Really like the bench, and the video was great also. Had a crowd of folks standing around while I played this video, all loved it.
I've build one. It's fantastic! It's made my work life so much easier, had loads of positive comments off clients and other tradesmen.
i just purchased the plans....what a great design...looking forward to building my own....outstanding!
Mike Zelenko do you need sketchup to read the plans?
mrrubot900 Nope, i supply the sketchup model with the plans but it's more of an extra help. Plus sketchup is a free program anyway, so it doesn't hurt taking a look.
Timothy Wilmots thanks
Love the ingenuity . Would love seeing one up close and personal .
I ordered plans today! At least, I think I did. A page popped up that said it didn't go thru, but it looks like it did. Anyway...
I'm hoping the expansion wing supports are included in the plans I bought.
This is such a great design. I can't wait to build it!
I just finished building one from your plans. It’s fantastic!
This is very nice. Great idea - exceptionally well executed. Went to your website... and found other little gems. Top talent. Bookmarked
That is probably the best table design I have ever seen. I want one!!!
Now this is designed for contractors work. And by someone, who has ACTUALLY done this kind of work. 10/10 would buy/make one for my home shop!
Did you make on?
one, LOL...
This is very slick. Really enjoy your work and videos, would love to see some more put up regularly. I think you're one of the most innovative people on youtube.

Very nice. Till I got to the end and saw plans were available, i thought it was a manufactured product, well done! need to make room for it...
2 dislikes, wow!! People don't be jealous. Very cool set up, especially to work on field!!
That's very cool. Its amazing how much faster and cleaner your work CAN be with better tools properly organized.
Hello Timothy, I also made a similar one. I changed something, but I'm always happy because I got it from you designs. Thanks again
MFTC Workshop
Brilliant! Maybe Festool should hire you as an president of new products.
OK, thanks. I think you have done a super smart solution for those of us getting a bit older. (We who can not lie on the floor and work longer).
Excellent functional mobile workbench. The video editing is fantastic as well. I just purchased the plans and can’t wait to start building it over the Christmas holiday! California, USA

HI Dejesan,
I get my T-tracks from a local hardware store, they sell them as curtain rails!
Super! Very well thought out all
For a complete happiness, not enough yet to make the holes and mount under the tabletop.
And it will be + mobile table router / saw
Timothy, you are a genius.Love the Design.
Fantastic. Will be getting the plans and building one real soon.
I'm your new BIGGEST FAN. thank you for sharing and making plans available - you are truly genuine in your sharing of what you do. Thank you!!!!
Ya, I'd love to have shorts version of those pants (live in Florida). Don't worry about your English, it's fine. I'm Swedish, so I can pick up some German words, but that's it.

I must make one!
Thanks very much indeed for making this available, and for all your hard work.

Nicely thought out design - well done.
I like the modularity of it a lot. I'll have to consider putting together something like that.
Great system. Does it clip onto the Festool Kapex like the Festool bench?
oh my.... its sooo well perfomed design!
Unbelievable kit Tim. An amazing asset to site work. I'm in !!!
best design i've seen all year. very well done.
Well done Tim! Looks great and a lot of thought has obviously gone into the design.
Watched for five minutes and it’s awesome 👏
Music is superb companion . Great job!
modular, mobile and multifunctional !!! great job, congrats!
i just made a table with holes but got to hand to you that is great send instruction on how to build one.Awesome,.one day I'll show pics.
Wonderfully done! I am starting woodworking, and I have only a small area to work in. In that sense your bench is the type I need. Amazing MFT and cart and very good demonstration video. What is the thickness of the MFT top with all the dog holes?
Now THAT is outstanding!!!!! What a great design!
Very clever. I'll build a very close variation of this table very soon. Thanks for the inspiration.
A very flexible & practical approach. Especially when work space is limited. I prefer your approach to Ron Paulk's.
plunder1956 what I like is the portability eliminates two thirds of the trips back to the truck im working on designing my own setup like this but ill be building it from scratch. By far the best one I’ve seen on youtube
Great performance of wood working skills and table bench .I wish you put some of your work as well.
Good work mate !

Hi Timothy, I like the way your extension tables add rigidity to the Festool worktop. Can you please share where you got them?
Dude... Just continue to build this great stuff you are building. And thanks for selling plans. Thats one of the cleverest things i've seen. Bravo.
Very nice! I appreciate how compact and efficient your design is! I would love to have one for myself.
Hi Timothy, i like the bench very much. Where sid you get the T-tracks?
Awesome bench! Thanks for posting. I love the ideas of the extension tables for the tracksaw.
Dude, that is f*****g. You need to patent that and sell it. Anyone who gave this video a thumbs down is just simply jealous. Well done😊👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Where can i buy the plans?
@@Nadirleso hi, normally on his website.
very good. how much made this portable cart?
main & extension
Nice! If I could afford all the festool goodies, I'd build this.
Hi, please watch Timothy's answer on the post of Evelinda Garces.
You got that design perfect. Nice work!
some engineer definitely earned their money on this one.. amazing.. if i were in this field professionally this would be a must have. its unfortunate to come across something like this thats just too expensive for a home owner or hobbyist to justify after having already invested in other tools.. if i were starting my own business festool would be the overwhelming product in my shop..
Great job! You are definitely some kind of design genius.
Timothy Wilmots bravo !!! Just seeing this video for the first time . Amazing setup . How do I get my hands on the plans for this bench ?
Hi, you can buy the plans on his website.

Love table would like plans but computer wont let me on to youre website keeps saying error. how do i get plans
Hi, his website has some problems actually (virus, hacked?).
@lermon-sm4ji Thanks for response, any idea how to get planes?
Excellent tools, clean and precise cuts with out much sawdust, great video.
excelentes herramientas, cortes limpios y precisos, sin tanto aserrin, gran video.
ottimi strumenti , tagli netti e precisi senza molta segatura , grande video .
I really love the simplicity and functional design of your work bench. In my opinion a lot better than Ron's...but that is just my humble opinion...
the link to the plans doesn't work, is there another way to buy them?
Amazing!!! Can't wait to see what you come up with next.
Awesome setup, I know what I want for Christmas.
I simply used a 20mm cutter and the LR32 system, the latter is only required if you want to make the the hole grid perfectly square. Otherwise there are more simple methods!
wow, WoW, WOW! Clearly Tim, you are simply Brilliant!
Gonna start building one TODAY, right after I get me one of those headphone radio gadgets!
Very slick and well thought out 👍
So pretty...I love how it looks like a designer piece. :)
Awesome bench, I will cut to the chase, do you have plans available
Yes I do on my website, link indescription.
