Andreas Gursky's photographs are fascinating. Viewing them in actual size is a wonderful experience! I visited his exhibit at the museum Küppersmühle in Duisburg, Germany numerous times. Each visit was memorable.
Hello! thanks for selections of photographer's! I look with delight, even when I have seen almost all the pictures. I have an idea how to make the video more narrative: you can show the photos in chronological order, so the viewer can feel the stylistic changes of the photographer, which are very interesting from the point of view of the artistic career. It's funny how many photographers will denigrate Gursky's subtle and thoughtful imagery, with its exceptional use of photoshop and image manipulation, whilst lapping up all the excessively manipulated, over sharpened, high contrast and saturated landscapes, that they claim as art. And don't get me started on AI, although I imagine Gursky could put it to good use?
Since most of his photos are manipulated (e.g. removed objects/trees at Rhein II or doubled the jackets in Bergwerk or else) you can just say: his team is great in photoshop. Not more. BVB photo is real.

I'm a newbie, how does Andreas capture so much in 1 shot? Super wide angle 18mm ff?
His images are often quite heavily edited, sometimes from multiple shots.
He use a big format machine (4×5 or 8×10)
