Axell is always in a flow state. The guy has the most incredible bike control on a 450. I've seen some sick riding in my days but Axell takes the top spot in my book. The dude can flow nonstop on big** booters.

whatdo the things above the grips do?
They are used for flip tricks (like ruler flips where you straighten your body out against the rotation of the flip) to give the rider's arms a sort of counter balance to help stop them over-rotating their body position. They are folded out of the way when not in use.
Ive never seen a rider make it look so easy.
