I dropped a sambar with a heartshot from 356 meters using the 375 this morning, it is quickly becoming my favourite gun in the game. Was double lung and heart, dropped it on the spot
I think one very big thing that they forgot about the 300 blackout is that it's a subsonic round. It was designed that way. So in game it should be quieter which could lend it to be a lot more useful.
When I first got the game a few years ago all I had was the 243 and was crawling around came up on a moose had no idea what I was doing aimed up right in the center front got a heart shot
19:56 One advantage the 300blk has over the mosin is its 3 weight units instead of 3.5. The 450 is also 3 instead of 3.5 like most 4 to 8 rifles so at least you can shave off 1 weight unit on certain maps ( srp, te awaroa, cuatro and parque )
@@yangionet8116 I never use guns like the mosin or even 308, 30-06 etc on the high end animals. Was a typical rack and honestly could hardly play after seeing it. Total kills I’ve only got around 4100 and I think since I started grinding for a g1 I’ve put about 400-500 into it.
I know great ones are special but crow has like 90 so I think for the KG collab he should spawn a great one whitetail for Kendall gray to shot (Unless it’s a typical or drop tine😂)
I think the Sika Deer should be moved down from being a Class 4 animal to a Class 3 animal due to being very weak. There are also a few other animals in the game that I think should be changed in terms of class. As for the new weapons, I think they're really amazing.
Trivia: There is a rifle in the game, I don´t even remember in wich DLC came, never used it until today, that can double lung a moose, load 6 bullets and is class 3 to 8. The only bad, has a 150m range, but at 300m doesn´t loose penetration.
The 450 bushmaster makes sense that it doesn't go up to class 8, irl it's a good deer gun out to 250yds, but not really ideal for anything bigger in the states. The 300blk i think shouldn't even be up to class 6. Maybe 2-5? Realistically 300blk is designed to shoot suppressed, so it shoots subsonic rounds with very little "knockdown power". They do make supersonic rounds too for 300blk, but they don't have a lot of energy down range either. I wish the weapon classes were a bit more realistic for the animals they can kill.
@3X0DUSBrawlstars just because people do it, doesn't mean it's ethical. The "standard energy" needed to ethically kill a whitetail is 1000ft/lbs. 90% of 300 blackout rounds have 1000ft/lbs or less at 100yds. That's barely more energy than most .223 rounds. .223 is between 800 and 1300ft/lbs of energy at 100yds depending on your ammo. The 300 black out is literally a 30cal bullet shoved in a .223 case. The only benefits of 300blk on .223 is, bigger frontal diameter on projectiles, heavier bullets (but with really no more energy because they're moving so slow), and the 300 blackout has more options to suppress is. I wouldn't even call 300blk an ideal deer cartridge. Most people use it for hogs and home defense. There are people in Alaska who have killed Grizzlies with .22lr, or 9mm pistols, doesn't mean it's ideal or ethical.
@3X0DUSBrawlstars i know, i wasn't mad, was just trying to educate in case people don't know terminal ballistics irl. The guns need a revamp. 6.5 should be 2-8 30-06 and .308 should be 3-9 (yes people hunt fox and coyote as well as moose with these) .338 should do much more than it does, it holds the record for longest confirmed kill. It seems underpowered. .223 needs a damage buff and should be 2-6 with little issues dropping any of them. .300 mag could easily be a 4-9 .... yes people hunt deer and other similar sized game with it (no it doesn't explode the animal) 7mm could be a 3-9 if the devs wanted to be nice to us There are too many similar firearms and it boils down to .300 mag is king (arzyna) of big game, .308 is the superior 4-8 ( it drops bison about as good as anything else in game but wrong ammo type) , .243 and .22 are the tiny animal assassins. Think of a moose. IRL, .450 Bushmaster is typically not considered ethical. .270 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor, while admittedly not ideal, are considered marginally ethical for moose. This boils down to a couple things, primarily bullet construction/design and the speed the bullets are moving.

Also the .300blk should have fairly similar balostics to the .30-30 so it should be a class 2-6
300 blackout is not a hunting round its not meant for that. Its meant to be used with a suppressor and shoot subsonic ammunition for cqb. Definitely not great past 100 yards.
Wish they would allow the wood grains on all rifles. Prefer wood stocks over polymer stocks. Wish they would also add stainless, chrome, and nickel for metal components.
I feel like a high caliber weapons pack with like 50 cals would be cool for level 9 hunting. Like a desert eagle 50 or a 500 mag revolver or barret 50 cal for like capes and tigers and bison
@@concor5893 The .500 Mag makes sense as a hunting gun. Even the Desert Eagle I can see in certain applications. A .50 BMG is absolutely ridiculous for literally any hunting scenario. There are other .50 cals such as the .500 Nitro, .500 Jeffrey, and .500 A-Square that make far more sense as hunting cartridges. And if you just want the absolute biggest, meanest hunting rifle possible, .700 nitro and 4 bores exist. .460 Weatherby is another monstrous cartridge.
@@Chabrinklo6.5I watched a video yesterday of a guy taking down a deer with a .50 bmg, had he been 1 rib back, would have been a super sweet, clean pass through. Unfortunately it hit the front leg on the way out (about ripped it smooth off) but didn't ruin any meat. It's really, absurdly expensive to use for hunting purposes, but is definitely capable of delivering a quick kill. 500 mag would be in my list of dream guns for the game. 50 AE not so much. BMG would be ridiculous because the devs would probably have it as 4-8 like everything else 🤣🤣🤣🤣
300 Blackout looks cool, but I think I am gonna stick to my 44 magnum lever action. Lower range than the 300 but judging by this video the 44 has better penetration. I will use the 450 though because that is what I use irl.
Less penetration, less range. 300 blackout is designed to be subsonic and to be used with a suppressor. 800-900 ish feet per second. .243 is typically 2900-3200 feet per second. Why even add 300 blackout 🤷
Well the 300 blackout is underwhelming ballistically in real life also. Very slow rifle round. Its main advantage is being able to be suppressed well with a silencer. As for the game I think the 300 blackout should have been a 2-5 class range. I also thought the 22 hornet should have been 1-3 class range
The only thing I realy dont like on the hunter call of the wild. They now have a good quality in gun animation, reloading and so on but the ones you relaod without a magazine you always reload one round too few...
I get it, variety is good, but this variety is not too different than what we have already. I would have liked to see something really new like .410 chambered shotgun. The only gun I really like is the .300 (7.62×35) cause it's a nice class rnage to pair with the .22h and the new .375. The .450 just doest need to be here tbh. I'd even go as far to say the .375 is kinda mediocre when the .300 mag and .338 exists that do the exact same thing. I guess the .375 had the best range but that's about it
@@Fishinandfarmin_tv2-5 is more appropriate for the 300 blackout. Maybe even 2-4 if we're being realistic. Not much energy especially at range. It's designed to be subsonic and used with suppressors. Why aren't suppressors part of the game? And why no base game night vision for night hunting? I better stop there.
Yeah crow man looks like the 375 will be the best I will definitely still have 243 for class 2 but I might make use of them anyway because I don't love pronghorn hunting and axis deer so will try the blackout with them but still to me the most underrated 2-4 weapon is the 22-250 I have destroyed foxes and a lot of 2-4 animals with it

Do the devs not read ballistic charts? The .300 is a light round and would be fine at 2 to 5 and the .450 only going to 7? Really? Its comparable to .45-70 out to 150yds. Like can they stop dropping the ball on new guns? I'm still pissed about the .577 only going to class 8 when it easily drops water buffalo and tigers.
Not a big fan of actual 300BO, to each their own, theres so much in game that needs to be fixed and devs gave another weapon pack, issues like hosts for servers ability to ban a person using mods or like an auto kick it found running moving too fast etc. Well Rifles do have recoil so brings in reality of hunting which is good
Yeah I’m disappointed I was looking forward to it being 2-6 it was the only reason I was buying the weapon pack , now I won’t be buying it , sad really
I don't understand one thing. Why 3 class animals strongest then 4 class in this game? And 300b for 3-6 class it's garbage. 243 is a base rifle, 300b is a paid rifle. I want pay for a better rifle in 2-6 class, not for an attempt not to crowd out 243.
300 blk should have been an AR. The 450 is just kinda, there? And the 375 is just another 300 and 338 side grade. The 375 is the most interesting to me but even then its about 5 years late
The 3-6 is perfect example for power with the 300 blk it is a 223 cartridge necked up to a 308 bullet the bullet isn’t moving that fast and doesn’t have the knock down power of the 308 due to a smaller cartridge the bullet is also just to big to use on a class 2 animal ethically and ethics is a big part of COTW

Also the .300blk should have fairly similar balostics to the .30-30 so it should be a class 2-6
Is there going to be a stream today?
the 300 blackout is like a worse mosin nagant
The 3 round 7mm will jolt when chambering rounds too
Pls make 300 blackout 2-6 class. We want another good 2-6 to compete with the .243
Holy crap! I said in one of your livestreams i would love to see a 450 bushmaster added lol
I actually hunt with a fully customized 300 blackout
300 blackout is not a hunting round its not meant for that. Its meant to be used with a suppressor and shoot subsonic ammunition for cqb. Definitely not great past 100 yards.
No one’s gonna mention the fact that like the whole point of .300 is to be suppressed and this would’ve been a great way to introduce suppressors?
Wish they would allow the wood grains on all rifles. Prefer wood stocks over polymer stocks. Wish they would also add stainless, chrome, and nickel for metal components.
Double lung moose is pointless really , because if you aim for stomach and lung moose barely go anywhere
I feel like a high caliber weapons pack with like 50 cals would be cool for level 9 hunting. Like a desert eagle 50 or a 500 mag revolver or barret 50 cal for like capes and tigers and bison
If Africa 2.0 ever releases they probably will add that
@@concor5893 The .500 Mag makes sense as a hunting gun.
@@Chabrinklo6.5 Yeah the 50 BMG was literally made as a anti material round, of course now theyre used by some snipers in the military.

243 is 2-6, why would u need a 3-6, 300 blk? Actually somebody tell me im wondering, more penetration? Expansion? Range?
Less penetration, less range. 300 blackout is designed to be subsonic and to be used with a suppressor. 800-900 ish feet per second.
.243 is typically 2900-3200 feet per second.
Why even add 300 blackout 🤷
@ yeah, i prolly wouldnt get this pack for the 243, probably the others tho. I would buy it if it was an ar tho, thatd be cool
what scope are you using?
I’ve always been able to double lung a moose with the 300, might just be me tho, and no I’m talking about at point blank
I got a 300 blackout ar with thermal and I use it for killing hogs and coyotes
What scope are you using
What scope did u use
Hope the 300 Blackout is a hint for suppressors coming in 2025.
I'm happy with the class rating , it's balanced , 2 to 6 would break the .243 . It's a great class 3 rifle .
I know the 30-06 is not in that pack but the 30-06 needs some love it is a truly good gun
. 308 is better
I guess the .375 had the best range but that's about it
After 5 years of crawling around I'd now seriously pay £100 for a class 1-9 AR rifle with a grenade launch attachment.
I just started playing today and i already got a 4 whitetail deer and it was a gold
I was hoping for the 300blk to be an ar
Same here!
@@ScarecrowTheHunter we can only hope for that in the future along with the classes being changed. I honestly think the class should be from 2-7
@@Fishinandfarmin_tv2-5 is more appropriate for the 300 blackout. Maybe even 2-4 if we're being realistic. Not much energy especially at range. It's designed to be subsonic and used with suppressors.
Why aren't suppressors part of the game? And why no base game night vision for night hunting? I better stop there.
@@winkletown8828i was stretching it with a classes 2-7 but i think 2-6 would be perfect since ive seen people take mule deer with a 300blk
Need more 2-6 guns in the game theres only the 243 thats decent to use
I can’t wait till the DLC comes out😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
I have double lunged a moose with a 300
We need a suppressor pack in the hunter call of the wild
When you streaming
Non suppressed 300blk out is just pointless
Yeah crow man looks like the 375 will be the best I will definitely still have 243 for class 2 but I might make use of them anyway because I don't love pronghorn hunting and axis deer so will try the blackout with them but still to me the most underrated 2-4 weapon is the 22-250 I have destroyed foxes and a lot of 2-4 animals with it
How does it do on speed goats (pronghorn)
Wonder why players seem to gravitate to a new weapon. Besides the .308 I am happy with the ,243, Rhino, 12 gauge and 300 magnums. Anybody still use the Solokihn?
They should have a 50 cal and make it classes 1-9 because there’s no such thing as overkill 😂
The class 3 animals seem unnaturally tanky.
What scope is that
Kinda wanted the 17HMR, it could of had some potential, at least a 1-3 rifle
1-2
@yangionet8116 1-3 people commonly use them for wild hog hunting, except in game they are too large for it three falls into that category
@ commonly used ≠ good choice
@@yangionet8116 yet Eurasian lynx falls into level 3, and it would be more than enough to take one of those
@@alonsohernandez1921could you imagine hunting speed goats (pronghorn for the people who don't know ) with a .17 hmr? 🤦 not going to do more than wound it.
When is the new map coming out
I liking what I'm seeing from all 3 300 elite will be my Roe deer, Springbok and Peccary gun to name a few and 450 will be my go to most of time since I mainly hunt animals classes 4 to 7 and 375 will be my Tiger,Lion and bear gun along with elk and Moose
The 375 should have been added years ago and is the only rifle from this pack that I'm even remotely interested in.
Render distance???
375 on a cape buffalo
What is the point of .300 Blackout if there's no Suppressors?
Well Rifles do have recoil so brings in reality of hunting which is good
how do you change the display in the scope???
At the outpost, go to the cabinet, click on "customize " or "edit" whatever it says
@ thank you
Should have given us the 8.6 blk out.
Hello scarecrow!
You just saved me money these guns are not looking good at all
The moradi is a much better rifle. The first mill dot on the hyperion is a perfect 328yd. Zero
I need the new map NOW!!!!!!!
Same
Can't wait to hunt the same stuff on every other map? 🤣🤣🤣
I don't want anything to do with a tiny little map. I need room to massacre!
2-6 for .300 blackout please
Yeah I’m disappointed I was looking forward to it being 2-6 it was the only reason I was buying the weapon pack , now I won’t be buying it , sad really
I don't understand one thing. Why 3 class animals strongest then 4 class in this game? And 300b for 3-6 class it's garbage. 243 is a base rifle, 300b is a paid rifle. I want pay for a better rifle in 2-6 class, not for an attempt not to crowd out 243.
Hi scare I love watching your live can we play together please if not can you do a challenge that you try to kill every class species on every map
7.62x35 is 300blk what’s there to be confused about and it’s a crime to have 300blk without a suppressor because that’s what it’s designed for
Im talking about for people that know nothing about guns. Obviously we know what it is but the average joe doesnt know that
Other thing that could confuse is they should have name it fors elite 7.62x 35, currently the ammo and rifle have a different name
22h, 300 black out, 375 is about to be the go to load out
They do not seem as accurate as they should be
300 blk should have been an AR. The 450 is just kinda, there? And the 375 is just another 300 and 338 side grade.
The 375 is the most interesting to me but even then its about 5 years late
We need a .50 BMG for class 9 only
The 3-6 is perfect example for power with the 300 blk it is a 223 cartridge necked up to a 308 bullet the bullet isn’t moving that fast and doesn’t have the knock down power of the 308 due to a smaller cartridge the bullet is also just to big to use on a class 2 animal ethically and ethics is a big part of COTW
I thought the 300 blackout was gonna be another 300
375 sucks. Probably even worse than the 338
W vid scarecrow
