i hve the vivo x200 pro... I also bought the oppo x8 for my gal. She didnt want pro because she wanted PINK... And tbh, the oppo phone feels much better in overall quality and QOL... if u aint a camera wh0r3. i'd exchange my vivo x200pro for a X8 pro.
@@kennyng2730 x8 feels better than x8 pro in terms of in hand feel, I have the x8, and it feels really premium. I couldn't extend my budget to x200 pro that's why I chose the x8. X200 pro's camera can negate the funtouch os ugliness. But x8 wins over x200.
@@Iqoensh5678 I disagree. I have the Oppo Find X8 and my wife has Vivo X100. I took several shots with both and the Vivo destroys the Oppo in all scenarios, esp in low light and macro. The Vivo can do closeup macro with its 3x optical but Oppo does closeup macro with digital zoom of 3x with its main camera. The colors are so much better on the Vivo as well. I have posted one shot from Vivo x100 in Flickr. Please look for Balainline in Flickr and the last pic I had posted is from Vivo x100.
At 14:00 I see OPPO Video stabilization better than VIVO. VIVO is a bit shaky instead. And you are saying VIVO is better in video. Nothing mentioned about stabilization. But you noticed in portrait video only 1080p is supported by OPPO but VIVO supports 4K. I am a VIVO fan too but let's not be biased !
If you could also add a section in your reviews where you compare the third party apps camera quality like snapchat, instagram and others, it would be of great help
Yess super important especially in camera centric phones like this. There is absolutely no information on if they support ultrawide and telephoto in these apps as well :(
Calling Oppo a good camera whereas the Vivo great camera is not just. I think even Oppo's cameras are excellent if not great and anybody who chose it would not be disappointed, as there's no Vivo to compare to. The Oppo shots are great too as we don't zoom all day and not to the moon especially!!

Dude, i have been using vivo x80 pro from last two years and now using Oppo X80 base version from last 10 days. Now, i understand that both phones are from different timelines, however, its really very satisfying and brilliant experience while using Oppo X8. Everything on oppo X8 is brilliant. Being compact size its also very handy. Camera is just outstanding. The best part is its software combination with ai and android 15. Only con is, i think, its price should be below 60k INR. I have also iphone 15 plus but all I want to say that it's fun to use oppo find x8 due to its compact size and overall user interface of colour OS 15.❤

Vivo pictures look very clinical and technical. High clarify and sharpness. Oppo has lower clarity but the image right out of the regular photo mode is very pleasing and social media sharing. Its bright without being oversaturated, and fun. The two are likely aimed at different types of buyers, a more serious one would pick vivo especially for the higher level of tuning available for that perfect look. The more casual person who just wants great photos without having to go too deep to the settings would probably prefer oppo.

I would prefer the x200 pro, but even though it's a global release there are no distributors here in Europe. People seem to be unclear how the warranty will work and there are import duties to pay. Oppo on the other hand has a website specifically for each country in Europe that you can order the phone from, and clear instructions for returns and servicing within that country. This together with the better software and longer support make it a hard decision.
Vivo all day any day. But oppo isn't too far. For camera Vivo is king and for software the oppo. Vibration motor is said to be great in Vivo. But it can't complete with software and features of Oppo. But software is very optimised in vivo. So the battery backup will be high in vivo. I think vivo makes a better choice just because of those fantabulous cameras.

This Vivo X200 Pro could actually currently be considered the best smartphone of 2024-2025 and it's clearly better than the Oppo Find X8 Pro which for me is a real regression compared to the previous Oppo but is still a better deal than the Pixel 9 Pro XL 🥱, but, but, but, just like as I will never put more than $500 so $1000 in a smartphone with Exynos processor but especially in a smartphone with Tensor processor 🤧, similarly, I will never put more than $500, so $1000 in a smartphone with a Mediatek processor, at least not as long as the problems of drivers / codecs compatibility, applications optimization, emulation, Custom-Rom and Mediatek software support are not solved. If I were to buy an Oppo, Vivo, I'd wait for the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, Vivo X200 Ultra. This Vivo X200 Pro could actually currently be considered the best smartphone of 2024-2025 and it's clearly better than the Oppo Find X8 Pro which for me is a real regression compared to the previous Oppo but is still a better deal than the Pixel 9 Pro XL 🥱, but, but, but, just like as I will never put more than $500 so $1000 in a smartphone with Exynos processor but especially in a smartphone with Tensor processor 🤧, similarly, I will never put more than $500, so $1000 in a smartphone with a Mediatek processor, at least not as long as the problems of drivers / codecs compatibility, applications optimization, emulation, Custom-Rom and Mediatek software support are not solved.
If I were to buy an Oppo, Vivo, I'd wait for the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, Vivo X200 Ultra.
Personally, I'm waiting for the S25 Ultra (even if hardware-wise it won't really be the best), for me, a smartphone is not only the camera but many other factors such as the quality and stability of the software, the software tracking, and above all the security of our personal data.
