For those who are still not able to see the mic, one thing which you need to do is :
1. Search keyboard list and default in setting
2. On top there is an option called default keyboard, click on that and check whether "show keyboard buttons" is enabled or not.

Not only did I have to type this because NO IT DID NOT FYCKING WORK... but my new phone bill will be on u till it expires, let me explain my pain... I just bought an upgraded phone to make sure it was no software problem and this still didn't fix my issue... prey on the innocent and u will find nothing but pain and suffering, u might make 1,000 a week but u will pay 10,000 a weak to keep it open... 4,000 a month but u will pay me 40,000 a month...
