Timeless is right. I went for an 03 when I bought last year. Better engine, less work had to be done. True to some of the comments here they cost big $ to keep up. I’m lucky to have skills and built a garage large enough to service mine myself. I look at it as a hobby. Keep the old girl going. Slide and all.
That's a beautiful coach for the money, and it's a PREVOST. I love these non slide coaches, less to go wrong with them especially the expensive slide repairs.
Andrew, thanks for the video. My wife and I purchased a 95 Prevost Country Coach XL-45. Planning to take our first trip soon. Keep putting out the great content. I really enjoy your videos.
Make for a great Granny Flat, ( Guest House) to stage along side of the Home w/ RV Lot. Many homes are doing this, build lattice patio top over the unit and landscape around the coach, install water feature by the door, bingo, this unit would accessorize many homes back yard-side yards. Also, seeing these coaches elevated on stone veneer raised foundations, to give it that Mts effect. If this unit was parked next to swimming pool, awesome effect for any professional back yard.
Andrew, with all the videos on Prevost that you've done recently and with the obvious admiration that you have for them, I was wondering how long it would be before you started talking about getting one yourself. Good luck; I hope that you find one that works for you.
Man this thing looks a thousand times better in this video than it did even looking at it online. The online listing pictures cant really capture the fit and finish detail on these things. I wish it came on the market a couple months later lol. The new owners got a good one!
Pretty sure I've run into this coach or one very similar on my travel adventures. I remember the paint scheme. Reminded me of the early 2000 Baja boat graphics when I saw it. I remember thinking this coach pulling a matching 32 foot Baja would be a sight to behold.
I am with you in all points, hindsight is 20/20... I wish I would have bought one like that instead of my newer Tiffin. There is NO COMPARISON on build quality and longevity on chassis and powertrain. I would opt for a no slide instead of the quad slide I have now. No doubt about it, makes me sick...
I guess that paint job was the shit back in 1998 huh? Still, 200k miles in a 21 year old coach ain't bad. How many owners has it had? Are there precise maintenance records, etc. Great coach for under $100k. Another great vid Andrew and as always stay safe and give Sadie some love for me.
The issue with Premium Coach Group is nobody every calls you back when you try and talk to them to buy one of their Coaches. I have emailed and called and never heard back from anyone.
You show the inside and closets etc..., but the two greatest things on these coaches are the chassis and the detroit diesel. Why not show the engine bay and under carriage, etc... Just food for thought on future video. Thanks for sharing.
wide awake 4% sales tax (Arizona is 8.9%), SD registration on our motorhome $275 (Arizona $3,300)! Our 2020 Jeep Rubicon SD registration $55 (Arizona gets @ $900 a year)!!! And NO MORE STATE INCOME TAX!!! We moved to Arizona 24 years ago, we had pensions from another state, Arizona taxed that pension for 24 years!!! NO MORE.....tired of being raped!!!
Robert Allen I agree the woods are with high gloss to the point of looking like plastics. The beddings look like it comes from a 1970’s Holiday Inn and all the interior designs look like it came from a 1980’s drug dealers pad with all that funky lighting and mirrors. Leisure Travel Vans and AirStream make the best exteriors and interiors. They have a more modern design. Winnebago started coming out with a more modern coach this year which is a good sign. The sail boat industry does a good job with simple modern interior designs and I wish RV manufacturers would wake up and start updating their RV’s. I think they design for the older Midwest market.
I think you can do a conversation within a budget but if you know something about design that would help. Knowing what materials to use and what to take out. Avoiding that disco lighting would be a start. Using a satin stain on woods vs a gloss, using neutral fabrics. Get rid of any gold trim and mirrors. Take a look at what the sail boat industry and how they design their new 40-50 foot catamarans. Get rid of that 80’s ceiling fan. I am betting a coach that old would need a new engine rebuild. Sorry that lighting looks like a 70’s disco. That has to be taken out.
@4:29 upon opening the door to the head you state, "...good size head room here..." and you stick your head in for a look around but never move the camera so your viewers can glimpse the toilet area -- all you ever show us (the viewers) is the WALL! If you wish to be a videographer, keep your head in the game -- remember you're filming a video and your camera is your first tool to communicate, your mouth is your second, and your words -- well, it's always best to keep them to a minimum. ;)
Ok... there is a Prevost for sale ... sunset and McLeod here in Vegas ... stainless and black... for sale from a dealer .. just saying... google would be your friend ... or I can drive by and get a number and pass it along to pass along...
Prevost is a commercial passenger car bus. Regardless of who does the conversion the most significant part is the bus is it’s stainless steel monocoque design
Russell Pottenger No. Prevost produces the (excellent) bus chassis/shell/drivetrain. What makes the basic Prevost package special (and where the most $$$ are invested) is in the conversion. Liberty and Marathon being our preferred converters.
I'm going to say this for the LAST TIME 🕰👀 I will like a Motorcoach RV that I can have all my HOT WHEELS..IF AND ONLY IF YOU CAN MAKE ME ONE LIKE THIS I BUY DON'T CARE HOW MUCH..TRUST ME I'M NOT EASY TO PLEASE I BEEN LOOKING AND LOOKING NOT ONE I LIKE FOR ME AND MY CAR'S!"😢💨

Agreed, slides are a costly and leak spot Convience

Series 60 engines are da bomb. You do a really good job on these videos. Your enthusiasm comes across.
Thank you!
Mirrors on the ceiling, pink champagne on ice...

hey Andrew how about looking at some blue bird busses. new or old. I would love a tour of one or two .

Love the outside. Just take it to your buddy for some interior updates and I would be stylin. Thanks for the videos!
I wanna see more cool RV content. This is a cool XL. Thanks for the tour. Happy trails!
The style of it really isn't my thing, but I'd still love to travel and spend some time in it. Thanks for sharing with us.

Your videos are awesome. So interested in the buses and you do a great job showing them. Thanks!
Thank you!
Mmmmm steppin in that bus I can smell the Aqua net, poppin collate with RUN DMC my Addis’s crankin! Like the bus!
😂😂😂
I'm with you - I would have bought this in a heartbeat.
Would have loved to have seen & heard the engine on this...what are the HP/torque ratings?
it's like a new car ad on tv. they only talk about the media hook ups. nothing about the engine, trans, brakes.
Thanks for sharing, I think we'll know tomorrow if the sale is complete.
nice! any way I might tag along with you sometime? really like the no slides
What a beautiful Coach!
That looks like a great buy at that price ! With a little updating it could be Really Nice !
Exactly my thoughts!
Looks like the room in the plaza I had comped to me when I jackpoted.
Oh yeah that's the one with the rivets so there's no Delam,,,,,

Its very nice for its age! I would have to change out the gold finish with nickel in the bathroom!
Have your friend check out Witt Motors in Dumas, Tx. They have a 95 Prevost Marathon XL for $79,000.
I guess that paint job was the shit back in 1998 huh?

I will pass this information on. Im sorry bro hear that.
Id be interested in buying this coach down the line if I can track it down
I enjoyed the video!
You are to get you want them you would love it and you're right about the slides something else to have to maintenance.
Love your videos but I would like to see the engine compartment as well.
Thank you I will work on that in the future!
I’ve been looking at 2003-2005 model Prevosts for three to five times the money. I’m not so sure they are any better.
Badass and with a S60...Im ready to fly out and get it!
Wow, I love this one!
Andrew, Do you think any one the Prevost Converters are better than another? There are Featherlight, Marathon, Liberty, Country Coach, Ect.
A Prevost for 100,000 or less in that condition is definitely a winner!!!
👌🎯
@@RVingwithAndrewSteele I see on their site it's already sold!
Gr8 dealer. Check their inventory constantly.
Gr8 vid buddy!!
I do too! They have some amazing coaches come through. Thank you for the support!
It's like a New Mexico Santa Fe feel to it....
Looks nice.
Dam Andrew I got to win that lotto 👍😁
Hey andrew whats a 2008 tiffin 40ft with a cummins and 40k miles worth?
Check NADAguides

Thank you for the feedback. You make a great point.
Baggage bays and Engines compartments a critical thing to see.My father once owned a coach like it,sure do miss it.Ran like a Swiss watch.
Year's ago we only heard about Silver Eagles. Now it's all Prevost. What happened to Silver Eagles?
The company went out of business.I once drove Van Halens🎸
Andrew.is this still available? Like to see more of it.
Check out premium coach group. I know they have a pending sale but it is worth giving them a call.
@@RVingwithAndrewSteele okay thanx.
Hi Andrew, do you know of a good upolsterer in Tucson thats reasonable, thx
No slide ......no deal!!!!
Love Wow Canada. Quebec🚩💡🔎👍✨✌👂🌉🔑
Gorgeous
That looks like a Mexican Food Truck. Where is the window to place an order for a Papusa?
Typical 90s southwest color paint schemes... our 03 was purple before it got painted this maroon scheme🤣
It's a walk thru, no need for a serving window, lol
Nice coach!
Get your driver’s license in South Dakota and pay only 4% sales tax on your new Prevost!
I know you’re going to end up with one! 👍

GIRTH BROOKS why not? Take a trip to SD, switch everything over!
I titled mine in Montana for this very reason. New Hampshire would have KILLED me on the TTL.
IM SORRY ANDREW WHAT YEAR DID YOU SAY IT WAS.....
I don't remember, check premiums website
Side by side the best
Why do all RV exteriors look like the planet Jupiter with all those colorful swirls and stripes.
that shouldn't bother anybody...the interiors so gaudy with all the mirrors and plasticy feel....

When i hit the little lotto for like 250k im buying this.
You could interior reno and exterior you could just change the pink to black or grey and bam! Into a Prevost under $150K!!!!
🎯👌😎
Exactly what my thoughts were
Nice

My thought exactly. He said it was a nice size head, but he came across like it really wasn't.
This is the " Douge" of rv reviews
Wow, it's pretty, but it'd take a 3 man crew 3 times a week just to wipe it all down for fingerprints.
This is the 80's on wheels...wonder how many lines were blown in that Coach 🎉
A real time capsule
👌😎
does "reached out" mean "he called me"?

I appreciate that and will look it up if I make it to Vegas anytime soon
It’s not a Prevost it’s a Country Coach. It’s not a Prevost it’s a Liberty Coach. It’s not a Prevost it’s a Marathon Coach. Get it together.

it looks tacky like Vegas in the 80s
Andrew...is coach still for sale?
It is listed at premium coach group, I believe they have a sale pending but until it's a done deal...
That is amazing. A lesser RV from that era is rotting to the ground on the side of someones house.
True story!
Awesome paint but not my colors
That is one ugly bus...
I will Stay with my 1983 Silver Eagle formerly owned by Hank Williams Jr. Bought in 1990 from Hank Jr's Manager.
Sounds cool! Have you put a video up over it Curt?
Johnny Cash pissed in the toilet on mine once. Guess I will keep it.
gaudy

It's just ok not as nice as your saying it's old and the styling is old style
It definitely needs new upholstery but the build quality is way nicer than any new production coach
