Trains at Sheffield - 27th December 2023

The final outing of 2023 is a trip to Sheffield to capture some movements between Christmas and New Year. EMR's Intercity services were terminating short of London at Corby, with Transpennine Express operating their now customary selection of overcrowded services that bear little relationship to any published timetables, while the ending of CrossCountry HST services in September means that their collection of Voyager units also continue to struggle with severe overcrowding.
Let's hope 2024 is kinder to the railways than the past year!
