Sweary! My playing partner and I sometimes have non-swearing rounds. With him off 18 and me off 25, you can imagine we've never succeeded! Best we did was two swears each in a round. Anyway, great video.

I hate to tell you but here in the USA A Texas scramble is where each team tees off and you are able to pick the best drive and each team player plays his own ball in from there. You all were playing a regular scramble not a Texas scramble
In the USA this WAS a basic Texas Scramble format, everyone plays every shot that the team likes best including putts but each golfer's tee shot must be used a certain amount of times in the round depending on how many holes are played .. that's the only difference with a basic Scramble which doesn't not require each golfer have a certain amount of drives.. it is true that most Texas Scramble matches played are actually played like a basic Scramble.. I have played in hundreds of Texas Scrambles and never had players play their own shots after a drive unless that was picked as the best shot. you must have been playing a combo/variation of a Scramble and Best Ball which sounds like another fun way to play.. hint hint Liam

Never heard of having to hit in a specific order, and I've been playing in, organizing, and scoring scrambles for 45 years !
