You have to take the individual notes from the original track and then you can use any sampler to assign them to the keys. I use the Drum rack in Ableton when I go live 👌🏼
what keyboard do you use and how do you get the same sound as Ed, I have been trying to find it for ages. I have also noted that you have it programmed as well so you just play the keys in a row. Please help
It’s really easy: you just have to take the original track and sample each note of the intro. (After that I pitched them down to the G#m scale). Then you can assign them to the keys of keyboard you want. When I go live I use the drum rack on ableton to do that. Just connect your midi keyboard and put each note to the keys you want
Federico Madeddu when you say sample. Do you mean. Put the original track in logic x or something like that. Then assign that to the midi keyboard. Sorry. New to this. Using midi etc
You have to open a new empty project on your daw, just import the original track and cut each note of the intro. Then you will have like 10 different notes (that will be the ones that you will put on your keyboard). Just export them individually so you’ll have 10 separate files. There you go, just connect your midi keyboard, open your looping session and you can assign the notes on the keyboard. It’s actually really easy to do, it’s harder to explain. If you need help text me on Instagram 👌🏼 @federicomadeddu.music

It’s a midi controller called Sonnit looper; I don’t think they make them anymore though

Federico Madeddu got it. Thank you. So how do you do it live. Is there a way of getting your midi to play thought the loop station.
@@Madefwasn't it easier to play the intro part on keys rather than assigning notes to keys in ascending order. It's basically 4 notes
