Drifting with Erie Dearies? Countdown. Always my favorite method.
Trolling has a lot of variables. Long line, dipseys, downrigger. Spoons, crankbaits, worm harness, spoon and crankbait on a three-way swivel.
It's all good.
I enjoy fishing with Erie Dearies too. Especially in low wind conditions!
Nice Tilley!
Thanks!
Enjoyed it.....nice job. How about casting? My favorite is the Erie Dearie.
Good call!. I set out to do that one that too, but the breeze picked up. You’ll notice when I said “3 ways” in the video, it was an out take, because I originally said 4. I like casting Erie Dearies when it’s a bit calmer.
How you determine what weight to use on bottom bouncers?
I use 2 oz almost always, but it depends a bit on the action of the rods you are using and the wind/waves. In heavier wind/seas you can go a bit bigger, but too much wind and you don’t want to be out there anyway.
Generally, 1oz per every 10 ft depth
@jacobmiller9689 that’s a great rule of thumb!
