You know I've never noticed it before, but I think this piece among others really reflects Iason's personal growth throughout the story. At first you hear the piano which represents his brain trying to process Rikis involvement in his life, then with each beat this part of him is interrupted until nothing but his passion for Riki remains, then near the end the piano comes back as if trying to understand what had come over him while he was with Riki. Powerful stuff man
when Iason lost his legs and sat there, still kept elegant, this track played (Jean Farina), then i cried. the love between the two is extreme and contradictory, only death will balance it. comparing to the new ovas, 92-version is more cruel and really earned me too much tears. thank you for the awesome music. :-)

In the 7 and 8 volume iason was under pressure and riki was in danger so iason sent riki to apathia even though he knew apathia wasn't under his control like eos and so guy got a chance to kidnap riki. But guys you should know that iason was a android and it means he would never became old but riki was completely human. How iason could endure his beloved death? To quote myself: "Not to mention the fact that Iason was basically a human-looking immortal android whereas Riki was 100% human. That means Riki would have eventually grown old and died which would have been a much worse fate for Iason, being forced to spend an eternity without Riki, trapped in the body of a machine with his feelings". I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who thought of this.

Why were the creators so cruel to give these two such a horrible death? Why couldn't they just leave Guy there and escape together? It's so painful to listen to these beautiful songs knowing that they died in the end. Riki didn’t love guy like that anymore, but they do have a history that is emphasized strongly in the novels and in Midnight illusion (prequel) to ai no kusabi Riki’s backstory in guardian and his meeting guy and why guy was important to him, in essence he did love guy but he was more like family at this point he felt that he owed it to guy at least to not leave him there, but Riki’s heart, soul and mind already belonged to iason, hence when iason said in the novel, “he means that much to you?” Riki replies “don’t say that,” in essence saving guy isn’t out of love for a lover but for an old friend and brother in arms. Riki truly loved Iason, there are tons of side stories as well that expresses this better, the author wrote a lot for ANK, it’s just hard to come across materials.

Hay algunas diferencias entre la novela y las dos ovas antiguas, como por ejemplo el primer encuentro entre Iason y Ricki (me gusta mucho mas como es en la novela) y otras cosas que no se incluyen o que no te dejan claro en las ovas, pero aparece lo de la confesión que le hace a Raoul.

But we know that Iason feels about Riki and what is interesting: Iason reacts like a human being as Blondie (well I think). By cons I don't know if the book Iason confesses to Raoul's feelings on Riki (especially if you know it means nothing to me I want to keep the suspense xD)
