THANK YOU! I cannot believe how hard it was to find clear, simple instructions to install the Red Link module. It seems like this is the only place on the Internet that explains this in clear English.
This video really helped! To add a second thermostat. Hit the "redlink" button twice, vs press and hold once, on the redlink gateway to add another device.
Nicely done . This gateway will work with any late model Honeywell Redlink compatible thermostats, also it will help to have the gateway at the thermostat during linking process
Thank you for your video. You present the process extremely well and in a way anyone would understand it. The manual does not fully explain how to do this and if not for the Installer Options you walked through, the average person would be clueless as to how to do this install let alone attempt to register their equipment online.
Thank you for this post... I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to make our Honeywell thermostat smart compatible... In the end...it was so easy and way cheap.... Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!🤗🤗🤗😶😶😶

Hi. I have an HZ322 zone panel with a THM4000R wireless adapter which allows my upstairs zone thermostat to be wireless. That thermostat is a FocusPro 6000, and doesn’t have an interface to use to add the gateway. Do I just press the connect button on the adapter and then the connect button on the gateway?
I believe you need to add the gateway to the HZ322 itself. Hit the mode button on the control until wireless led is lit. Go through the add device menu that way.
We have a THX9421 with the EIM. using your instructions I can get to the "connected devices" and see the thermostat and the EIM. So from what your GREAT video shows, the gateway does not need a Pro to install as long as i can get to the Pro menus? There nothing on the EIM itself that i have to access?

Hi Great Video I have a problem though My internet light on the gateway goes amber after a while. Then it goes green. It does this several times a day. Can you help me?
Thank you, very informative video but we have an odd situation. Our Honeywell thermostat says gateway is already connected, but we just moved in and can’t find it anywhere in the house. Is the wireless device manager saying that gateway is connected and live or its saying that gateway was connected in the past (maybe previous owners took it with them)
We don’t see the red link gateway inside the house but the thermostat says it’s connected, so not sure how. Is there a way to see the gateway details like Mac ID on the thermostat?
Yes we don’t see any redline gateway device anywhere in the house including the attic but we see that gateway comes up in the connected devices, in the wireless manager. Is there a way to check the Mac id of connected devices?
@@manojvyas9937 I don't recall but see if there is an option to disconnect connected devices, maybe? Or see what happens when you attempt to pair a new one? You can always factory reset the thermostat.
