    we are returning to khao lak in a few weeks, you said you thought 5 days was enough but there is so much more to do, the national parks and lakes up in the mountains, we also enjoyed bamboo river rafting which was so relaxing., proper elephant sanctuarys. I enjoyed watching your video and I will definitely try a mangosteen .

      Thank you for watching 🤩 If we are honest, it’s never enough time nowhere in Thailand 😅 🇹🇭 This country has so much to offer. And after being home we said that we definitely have to come back to Khao Lak one day to explore more. Bamboo rafting sounds super fun!!! Where exactly did you do that? Happy for any tips. Enjoy your holidays in Thailand 🤗

      The rafting was fairly nearby, not far in a taxi. Yes Thailand is wonderful, have been there many times. @@2soulmatesontheroad

    THE FRUIT YOU DIDNT KNOW THE NAME OF IS SAPODILLA IN ENGLISH OR LAMUT IN THAI, ALSO KNOWN AS SUGAR FRUIT. YUMMY!

    If you eat too many longans, your inner body will be hot and you will get mouth ulcers. In case you want to eat as many longans as you want, you have to dip them in 3-4 litres of water + 1 spoonful of salt about 20 minutes. Another fruit that you ask is Sapodilla.

      We think that Khao Lak is very family friendly as it is more relaxed and less busy compared to Krabi or Phuket. Also have a look at one island named Koh Kood. It’s very relaxing there. We have been a few years ago and it was pure paradise!!! The nature there has been stunning 🤩
      We hope that might help 🙏

    How to do you commute within Khao Lak ??? Is there any bus service, tuk tuk or cheap transportation ? please give me transportation costs example between one beach to another beach

    • @2soulmatesontheroad
      @2soulmatesontheroad  23 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Ohhh I really don’t know because we always did everything by scooter. But there are always the tuktuk/songthaew taxi things and I am sure there are very cheap. Another option you could look up, is to download grab app, cause there you’ll find drivers, scooter taxis etc. We use it a lot in Bangkok, Chiang Mai etc and I believe in Khao Lak they use it too.

    To eat many kinds of fruits at the same time, you should estimate which one is less sweet and the most sweet then start from the less to the most sweet. If you start it wrong, the less sweet would taste nothing.

    5 days in Khao Lak better or in Phuket ??? we are 1 adult and 1 kid (7 year old) will that be too boring in Khao lak with 1 adult and 1 kid ?? How is Hotel Rakkawan Boutique Hotel ?

      I guess it depends where and what you want to do. I think Khao Lak is very family friendly. About Phuket we don’t know as we’ve never been. But Phuket is big and for sure there are some more touristy areas and some more family friendly areas. In Khao Lak we stayed at Srichada Hotel and we loved it! Super friendly staff, very very clean and the restaurant has been with one of the best authentic Thai foods we’ve eaten

      @@2soulmatesontheroad Phuket will be double or triple the crowd of Krabi i guess. So, How was Krabi compared to Khao Lak. In Krabi, is it worth to stay in downtown Krabi or Krabi town ???or Ao nang is only option

    • @2soulmatesontheroad
      @2soulmatesontheroad  23 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @ Krabi is ok, but very touristy and lots of party places. We stayed at Ao Nang. Krabi is good to make day trips for example to go by boat to Koh Hong island. Also railay beach is beautiful, but not the main one. There is another one around which is even more nice. You can have a look at the Krabi video of us.
