I love these character concepts, especially the ghost hopper. But I think these characters could be even more interesting if they had reasons for their character traits, for example the white locus could be so mature and like hanging out with adults because his foster parents are very strict and dont like him making jokes or being immature so since he doesn't wanna let them down he taught himself to be very mature and no nosense. The white locus now couldn't like the noisemaker because he shows him his suppresed feelings of funniest and immaturity(that he is afraid of since they goe against his foster parents ideals).

I thank this channel and other channels that I watch that create their own superheroes and villains because now I am planning and making my own, I plan on having my own company running by when I’m 18 with my dyslexia and my mom side of the family having a rich history of creativity all I see is benefits.
I think for Red Crusher there can be a good potential about her being the “queen of the team”. Which can also fit very well in her ants theme and stuff. She can be the mom figure for everyone in the team and everyone can love her the way we love our moms. There can be an interesting dynamic in team based on that

Redcrusher is hella unique and creative ( she's so cool i love her already great already.) Since there are many of the same suits that people can wear, or atleast if i understood correctly, then you should add some aspects to the main characters that make their design more unique, like a scarf, or a pair of pink gloves for red crusher, showing both her strenght and menacing look, but also giving the idea to the reader of her nice personality. Also, i think the Noisemaker looks too jacked to be the genius that relies mostly on his technology. Love your work btw, you're very inspiring
I like the idea of a muscular genius. If he’s not enhanced in any way, why would he be reedy and unathletic to boot? Makes more sense if he’s smart that he’d recognize his weakness and try and achieve what he can within human limits, and then augmenting that with technology. I just really dislike heroes who are unathletic, they feel like they’re not very proactive

In my experience the bubbly characters tend to not by the favourites for awhile until we get to know them seeing how far they’ve willing to go and where for them is too far

I think a way to make red crusher a tad bit more unique would to maybe have her swarm mutate into something like a fire ant, giving her some sort of fire based abilities. Just so she has similarities to other insectids, but it just gives her that edge of uniqueness to separate her from just being like every other ant insectid. Like ghost hopper, white locust, and even project n are like the other insectids in their races, but have slight differences to make them stand out amongst the others. Just an idea though. Love the videos, and the characters! Can’t wait to see what you do with them!
I'm liking these characters! The White Locust and Noisemakers especially feel like they're the type of characters who would get spin off series to be honest with you.
Idea for Noisemaker - I don't know how you're planning on making him move but i do like the idea of him rolling and just shooting sound waves behind him pushing him forward - If we ever get a POV from him make it so we see through his glasses and we see that his glasses is picking up on everyone and analyzing their weaknesses like Jarvis with iron man -let him be able to send out like a echo locater with his gun to detect things and people they are like around the corner or behind a wall - add something to that damn knife that he has if the O's armor can protect against some of the swarms attacks then his knife ain't helping him

You inspired me to make my own universe. I’m not great at art so I don’t have any comics done yet but the main character is called Mantis X. His father is mayor of the city called terano. A cyberpunk like dystopian city in South Africa. His dad isn’t a mayor, he’s a killer. He experimented on his own son, mantis x, or known as Myles Madrigal. Let me know if you like the story, it’s not done yet
You ever see the old TV show MANTIS? It was about a wheelchair bound scientist from South Africa who created a super suit for industrial purposes but then the idea hit him that he could use the exoskeleton suit to connect his brain to his body and it not only let him walk while wearing it but gave him enhanced strength speed and the suit was bulletproof. All that to say that you might want to rework some of your name and location elements so that it doesn't sound like a copy. (Used to love that show as a kid until the last episode went off the deep end with aliens and it got rightly cancelled. Yeah, street level heroes should never end season one with extra dimensional aliens. One of the biggest, cringiest letdowns in TV for me. I like the idea of starting a character in a country that isn't typical. That's where your idea shines. Run with that. Maybe make it even more obscure? Possibly some wartorn area where he starts off trying to save his father, comes across stolen tech and puts together a sort of suit and does so only to find out (end of season one so to speak) that his father was the bad guy and he had just been effectively putting down a just rebellion? I don't know. The scopes are endless.
I love the content and you have great ideas with backstories and characters I never thought I would the the intelligent person be the funny character. Also I found the channel a couple weeks after starting to make characters of my own. I also saw your comics which have great art in them and thought a few things 1 I went overboard with characters I have over 30 and most are powerful 2 especially after an attempt of drawing my first thing that I'm not a good drawer and 3 I should focus more on one character at a time so thanks and if anybody looks at this comment feel free to give ideas
Just came here after sharing some thoughts on your insectoid video. Fun stuff. Okay, so as always, take or leave what you want here. I just spitball ideas as I see them and come up with them on the fly so here we go... Noisemaker - I like the concept and the name isn't great but works for a guy who is the geek of the group. I also thought "Is The Silencer taken? Maybe a nemesis? Also, the suit might benefit from a black on black hexagona meshl pattern on the "cloth" areas and maybe give him a 2 layered helmet where the one underneath is like a tight hexagonal mesh fencing helmet giving him a display HUD on the inside while the outer helmet keeps that from taking damage...the focus on tue HUD would also give him reason to run and hide behind his team. I also wonder if he could use his ability to eventually "hack" an insectid swarm which would give him a tactical advantage but might just give him an enemy for life because of the bond. Red Crusher - An element that might give you the dimension you need for this one is that every good team needs a traitor. Now hear me out. She is a potential queen waiting to happen. If she had both the opportunity to do what she is genetically programmed to do (to gain control of a colony and become the new queen in the absence of one) then you've got hidden tension below the surface. Foreshadowing the moment and show her struggle with her nature a bit but have her seem to have a handle on it. Have Noisemaker test his "hack" on her swarm bond or something (if you use that) to give another layer of feeling betrayed but not able to explain why. Literally everything in her screams at her to become what she was born to be...and then the fall. This might not make her an enemy at first (or at all) but it would put her in command to a brood they were supposed to stop and she just took it over instead. She might even save her old team and let them escape with the lingering unknown of what comes next when they meet again. White Locust - I really like this one. I think if you used my above suggestions, having him take the betrayal particularly hard and blame Noisemaker could lead to some great internal conflict as well as some satisfying resolution to it especially as he comes to terms with the fact that he is being too hard on Noisemaker while Noisemaker comes to terms with the fact that maybe he did okay a role and both realizing that either way, they need to work together now more than ever "Even if we don't like it." "No. Especially because we don't like it." Ghost Hopper - I think she has potential but is lacking something. What if she has one ability that Noisemaker figures out is theoretically possible and turns out that she can (because of her mixing and mutations) access the swarm of other termites or locusts. If you read my comments on your other video, my "Mandible" ideas might be super cool here giving her an arsenal of weapons that would be super strong...if she only knew how to use them...but she's no weapon master. Still, it might let her use those weapons for other purposes than actual combat and that would make her insanely cool because it recognizes that she still needs to be the clever one and not the fighter so subverting the trope of having the living arsenal being the fighter would be a lot of fun. Project N - To be honest, he seems too... vanilla. He needs a vice of some kind as well as a motivation. He has a good look and his powers are cool but I'm not feeling him. Who is he? That's where I would start. Maybe the whole reason he survived is because he has no memory of any of it and that prevented his powers from manifesting. Now he has people making promises of finding answers or making his people great instead of being oppressed (which has subtle racial connotations but keep those related to his people the bee insectids and don't let it come across as a real world parallel but write it so people can make the connection if they want. This could be made richer for storytelling if he is torn between the loyalties of his people and what's right and where no side is really offering him a solution that he's happy with. If his people want him to be the key to their future but that future involves a war he wants no part of, but another group offers him answers but wants to use him to kill his people, and everyone just seems out to use him, then you have a story. How does he know who to trust and how can he find out just who he is and what that means for him? What about the people in his life? This, the team could form when he is walking into a trap and Noisemaker stops him with no strings attached and at risk to himself. Now he has one person. And if that rescue is essentially a jailbreak, that might be a way to throw the team together. Again, just my thoughts off the top of my head as I watched this. Definitely has some potential but any good idea needs ironing out to be great.
I love the concepts, Also a suggestion, There would be two bro insectids with moth and spider DNA The first brother would Have Two sets of arms And two more created from the swarm. The second would have Moth wings (Silkworm) Moth antennae and Unparalleled Senses.

Originally the first Swarms were created by the scientists, but then the Queens produce the new swarms and are able to hypnotise the Swarms of the insectids in their own colony.
The hero I created is a interesting one because of his power I don’t have a name yet but he has the power of absorption. Basically he is living vibranium like in black panther so he absorbs damage he takes and then stores it to send out his energy in multiple ways. He can send out a 360 wave all around him to knock back things. He could also use it like an energy beam to use as a ranged attack. My favorite idea tho is he stores the damage to become stronger kind of like how hulk gets stronger when he gets mad my hero will get stronger the more damage he takes. His only setback so that he’s not invincible is that his damage absorption doesn’t work with like lasers bullets arrows etc
Can someone explain the use of the word swarm so often? Like, is she (second one) a combination of many insects creating 1 person or idk why does she have a swarm can someone just explain the insect people more thoroughly?
I think red crusher schould be a little bit more muscular. It would be fitting for a brawler type character. It also would be refreshing to see a female superhero who isnt super thin.
And also, I really do look up to your work and also I wanna make comics of my own, but I don’t know how to get started or where to start with them and I don’t really have that great of art style
Could you do a video covering the cultures of the insectid's? Also, do the insectid's behavioural patterns vary depending on the type? Like Bees, Ants and Termites all live in their respective large rooted communities, while Locusts are a lot more peripatetic and live semi-nomadic lifestyles in communities that vary in population.
It's in the line up for sure ,not immediately though cause the next one is about the villain of the story. I want to do 4 videos going in depth on each of the different colonies.

I found it curious how Red crusher, white locust, and Ghost hopper all have a technical family connection either by blood or via being raised by the queen. I wonder if that'll make Project N and noise maker any closer as characters compared to the others? Hopefully I can give some fair yet helpful insights with my two cents! * Though I think that would gery much explain how the team formed in the first place. I think i'm want to see more of how red crusher came to appeal to a more restrained nature given how she was pestered in her youth, I think if handled right she had the ability to be the most inspiring of the group up front. * I do think Project N is proper Protag material and it ought to he interesting seeing what he learns of his heritage and what he's capable of physically even if he doesn't stand out quite as much as the others ironically. * White Locust sounds like he has a lot of interesting things going on for him, but I don't quite get how it all mixes together? Like youngest character having an old soul definitely sounds interesting as does his mixed race, but one wonders why that is and why he's held in esteem enough to be part of this team despite being an outcast. Luckily I don't think any of those will be too difficult questions to answer, they just don't seem as seamless to me as the others. * Noise maker is a character I need to figure put the motives of more, though he does seem like a vital connection to the breeders plotline, I don't get the feeling of "good natured" as much from him as the other characters and I get the sneaking suspicion he has more personal motives going on. Which i'm not sure is what you were going for. * You kinda put me off on ghost hopper with the flirtatious angle, fan service characters are ones I keep to a lower regard personally. I feel like her angle in being a stealth character might be hard to maintain with her still fairly bright color pattern?
Suggest a suggestion I feel that was to much progress on interspecies insectoid having a generation or two gap between the perfect blend of the two species as a result the character in question the white locust would have certain limitations like being durable but not the same extent as a pure termite and not being able to leap the same distance as the other locusts while being more durable and agile then other insectoids.

Noisemaker - I like the concept and the name isn't great but works for a guy who is the geek of the group. I also thought "Is The Silencer taken? Maybe a nemesis? Also, the suit might benefit from a black on black hexagona meshl pattern on the "cloth" areas and maybe give him a 2 layered helmet where the one underneath is like a tight hexagonal mesh fencing helmet giving him a display HUD on the inside while the outer helmet keeps that from taking damage...the focus on tue HUD would also give him reason to run and hide behind his team. I also wonder if he could use his ability to eventually "hack" an insectid swarm which would give him a tactical advantage but might just give him an enemy for life because of the bond.
Red Crusher - An element that might give you the dimension you need for this one is that every good team needs a traitor. Now hear me out. She is a potential queen waiting to happen. If she had both the opportunity to do what she is genetically programmed to do (to gain control of a colony and become the new queen in the absence of one) then you've got hidden tension below the surface. Foreshadowing the moment and show her struggle with her nature a bit but have her seem to have a handle on it. Have Noisemaker test his "hack" on her swarm bond or something (if you use that) to give another layer of feeling betrayed but not able to explain why. Literally everything in her screams at her to become what she was born to be...and then the fall. This might not make her an enemy at first (or at all) but it would put her in command to a brood they were supposed to stop and she just took it over instead. She might even save her old team and let them escape with the lingering unknown of what comes next when they meet again.
White Locust - I really like this one. I think if you used my above suggestions, having him take the betrayal particularly hard and blame Noisemaker could lead to some great internal conflict as well as some satisfying resolution to it especially as he comes to terms with the fact that he is being too hard on Noisemaker while Noisemaker comes to terms with the fact that maybe he did okay a role and both realizing that either way, they need to work together now more than ever "Even if we don't like it." "No. Especially because we don't like it."
Ghost Hopper - I think she has potential but is lacking something. What if she has one ability that Noisemaker figures out is theoretically possible and turns out that she can (because of her mixing and mutations) access the swarm of other termites or locusts. If you read my comments on your other video, my "Mandible" ideas might be super cool here giving her an arsenal of weapons that would be super strong...if she only knew how to use them...but she's no weapon master. Still, it might let her use those weapons for other purposes than actual combat and that would make her insanely cool because it recognizes that she still needs to be the clever one and not the fighter so subverting the trope of having the living arsenal being the fighter would be a lot of fun.
Project N - To be honest, he seems too... vanilla. He needs a vice of some kind as well as a motivation. He has a good look and his powers are cool but I'm not feeling him. Who is he? That's where I would start. Maybe the whole reason he survived is because he has no memory of any of it and that prevented his powers from manifesting. Now he has people making promises of finding answers or making his people great instead of being oppressed (which has subtle racial connotations but keep those related to his people the bee insectids and don't let it come across as a real world parallel but write it so people can make the connection if they want. This could be made richer for storytelling if he is torn between the loyalties of his people and what's right and where no side is really offering him a solution that he's happy with. If his people want him to be the key to their future but that future involves a war he wants no part of, but another group offers him answers but wants to use him to kill his people, and everyone just seems out to use him, then you have a story. How does he know who to trust and how can he find out just who he is and what that means for him? What about the people in his life? This, the team could form when he is walking into a trap and Noisemaker stops him with no strings attached and at risk to himself. Now he has one person. And if that rescue is essentially a jailbreak, that might be a way to throw the team together.
Again, just my thoughts off the top of my head as I watched this. Definitely has some potential but any good idea needs ironing out to be great.

Originally the first Swarms were created by the scientists, but then the Queens produce the new swarms and are able to hypnotise the Swarms of the insectids in their own colony.

The hero I created is a interesting one because of his power I don’t have a name yet but he has the power of absorption. Basically he is living vibranium like in black panther so he absorbs damage he takes and then stores it to send out his energy in multiple ways. He can send out a 360 wave all around him to knock back things. He could also use it like an energy beam to use as a ranged attack. My favorite idea tho is he stores the damage to become stronger kind of like how hulk gets stronger when he gets mad my hero will get stronger the more damage he takes. His only setback so that he’s not invincible is that his damage absorption doesn’t work with like lasers bullets arrows etc

Could you do a video covering the cultures of the insectid's?
Also, do the insectid's behavioural patterns vary depending on the type? Like Bees, Ants and Termites all live in their respective large rooted communities, while Locusts are a lot more peripatetic and live semi-nomadic lifestyles in communities that vary in population.
It's in the line up for sure ,not immediately though cause the next one is about the villain of the story. I want to do 4 videos going in depth on each of the different colonies.

I found it curious how Red crusher, white locust, and Ghost hopper all have a technical family connection either by blood or via being raised by the queen. I wonder if that'll make Project N and noise maker any closer as characters compared to the others? Hopefully I can give some fair yet helpful insights with my two cents!
* Though I think that would gery much explain how the team formed in the first place. I think i'm want to see more of how red crusher came to appeal to a more restrained nature given how she was pestered in her youth, I think if handled right she had the ability to be the most inspiring of the group up front.
* I do think Project N is proper Protag material and it ought to he interesting seeing what he learns of his heritage and what he's capable of physically even if he doesn't stand out quite as much as the others ironically.
* White Locust sounds like he has a lot of interesting things going on for him, but I don't quite get how it all mixes together? Like youngest character having an old soul definitely sounds interesting as does his mixed race, but one wonders why that is and why he's held in esteem enough to be part of this team despite being an outcast. Luckily I don't think any of those will be too difficult questions to answer, they just don't seem as seamless to me as the others.
* Noise maker is a character I need to figure put the motives of more, though he does seem like a vital connection to the breeders plotline, I don't get the feeling of "good natured" as much from him as the other characters and I get the sneaking suspicion he has more personal motives going on. Which i'm not sure is what you were going for.
* You kinda put me off on ghost hopper with the flirtatious angle, fan service characters are ones I keep to a lower regard personally. I feel like her angle in being a stealth character might be hard to maintain with her still fairly bright color pattern?

I feel that was to much progress on interspecies insectoid having a generation or two gap between the perfect blend of the two species as a result the character in question the white locust would have certain limitations like being durable but not the same extent as a pure termite and not being able to leap the same distance as the other locusts while being more durable and agile then other insectoids.
