Don't forget that the new F2P Trunks can one shot GREEN units!... If you buff his special move to the max, and he's zenkai buffed, and the enemy isn't type neutral...

I’ve been playing on and off for years. I haven’t gotten a single headlining big celebration unit since 2021 legends fest. I’ve also yet to pull a single summonable ultra
just compensate me my cc back from the banners and I would call it an apology from legends. LMAO I summoned on black banner and got screwed because his kit was wrong. I wanted the kit to be as it is before patch.
I CANNOT stress enough how much they did NOT cook with this part from the character selection to the zenkai selection to goku black being whatever the fuck he is its just so bad man.
Legends lately: Events are trash, summons are trash, discount summons are trash(and they are not actual discounts), new characters that are suppost to be good are trash, luck is trash(for everyone), 14 stars still the biggest trash, the whole game feels like a chore to play and the game seems like it's stealing your time rather than earning it. Was a Legends main for a long time but overtime I understood that Dokkan respects your time and money more.
With luck i noticed lot of people having new characters for 3-4 strars, and for me Thi banners for 2 years playing was the worst luck rolling(green sky simulator) and i thing thats for many players.Playing is insulting and boring hiting auto gages or waiting vegito hiting u LITERALLY for 40 seconds straigt from very start ( i have competent team with new units) or U hitting guy for 40 seconds straight feels like shit not game

They designed rose with so many flaws and he needed to be a Turles lvl tank with some sort of support for future allies. Instead they gave him no disruption that can hault long combos vs Vb and even with his disrupt working vs others his gauge can’t be reset instead of landing a blue or green . If you miss his long range green GG YOU ARE getting recked. Also why does his pre transformed green when you land doesn’t lock RR and mains. You’ve seen moments where you land the green yet TF VB transforms gets vanish gauge fully it’s gg. Rose sucks and he was the most impotent aspect for future resurgence . And sadly he sucks and why even run him? I like zamasu and black but his defence is so bad that his role he sucks at it. Why run him when you can run Majin vegeta or turles instead. Rose sucks man he is 8-11 range on release and he’ll die on now once boost is done
what the hell is this festival, i already ran out of events and cc resources, no hoi poi, majin vegeta is rampaging with no decent counters, the banners suck ahh, the daima compaign is trash, the shops suck, the f2P unit is better than the main unit of a dead tag, zenkai of the drink has acid flavor, 2/10 festival overall and whats worst, part 2 is always bad...
The way I look at it, they saved up on releasing what the majority of us wanted, Synchro Fused Zamasu, LF MUI even, so that the game continues having worthy content. So they had to sacrifice part 1 of a legends fest which seems wasteful, but necessary. I have a feeling part 2 is going to contain units that is going to revive the hype of this legends fest and could possibly please all of the types of players.

A way I think to mitigate counter gauges is a character that can : If this character or on standby and enemy counter/dodge gauge is activated the following effects occur : Cancels enemy buff and attributes effects Inflicts +30 to arts cost (cannot be cancelled) for 20 timer counts Reduce Ki Recovery by 20% (cannot be canceled) Inflict enemies with -2 to card draw speed (cannot be cancelled) 20 timer counts Destroys all enemies cards every 5 timer counts Applies the following effects when enemy gauge is full : Reduce dragon ball chance by 30% Reduce enemy pull rates by 50 % ( a bit much yes I just really hate UMV fr)
Honestly there were so many better options. My reason for why they didn't zenkai og green transforming goku black was cause they were going to release this transforming LL goku black.

I feel like part of the reason new mechanics are usually put on bad modern characters (outside of ultras) is their lazy attempt of curbing possible power creep if the ability does end up being very strong. I think thats fine. the problem is that these are usually put on celebration units to build hype and then proceed to not deliver

I'm just gonna say this but, i just pulled lf vegito and as i get into a match i face against someone who has ultra majin vegeta and lf vegito then i am losing alot of points in pvp. So i hope legends can really find that middle ground for ultra characters who have these unique gauges and ngl but part is very overwhelming, and I'm praying that part 2 is better then part 1
This is EXACTLY how I feel. Part 1’s message had NOTHING to do with Vegito. It was a Trunks and Mai moment. But one, the Sparking Mai wasn’t shown properly. And they had the common decency to make a new RAGE Trunks a F2P. As well as Zenkai a bad Trunks.
They can't find some sort of balance between character and their kits It's either broken gauge , infinite combo, new mechanic to counter other broken mechanics It's just a never ending cycle of same old thing this could be next: Reduce ki (cannot be cancelled) Destroy cards ( cannot be cancelled) like cannot be cancelled debuffs Or maybe cannot be canceled new unique gauges that stops rushes and ults (imagine a Goku freiza but multiple gauges and can't be nullified by lf vegito blue new mechanic) They keep making units counter unfair and toxic units like ultra majina Vegeta in the near future there's going to be a character that has literally everything in his kit
I can't lie the thing i hate the most is when legends add extremely out dated units to a banner the Goku and Bardock banner was so bad I didn't even summon
I think future gohan would have been a way better pick for zenkai because even though he doesn't buff vb with his z ability or wouldn't with his zenkai ability, he would still buff Rosè. On top of that he already has support utility, and defense disruption in his base kit, he can be a great universal unit again but oh well missed opportunity.
To me vegito being overwhelming isn't an issue cause all they have to do is release a purple who removes buff effects whenever he enters the battlefield or enemy switches. Like making a vegito counter isn't that bad cause you are not cranking the dmg no.s or making silly mechanics. Issue will be the part 3 ultra who'll have another auto mechanic so we'll have to increase powercreep by cranking up no.s just so they can have a chance against that unit.
To the people who are saying pick one that we are always going to complain, it’s because that rose has to be good to survive this meta , and that’s why we are complaining
I quit the game right before fest started. After seeing everything that has been going on, I have no desire to return and I can tell that I made the right choice
I don’t owe Goku black, but his banner definitely fire. I’ll still be summoning on his banner to pull omega and nappa since I skip the origin banner and hopefully pull more Super 17!!
I don't know why but somehow I have found next to no UMV's lately? Probably because I'm not hanging out in the top 10'000 though. But still, aside from that everything is really underwhelming. It's so dissapointing... 1-Sh1t selections of characters 2-No new mechanincs(The vegito's one isn't a new mechanic at all, and the rose's one is just lack of creativity and laziness) 3-Shitty banners 4-Shitty Events(The space rush is te same ting, but with tipe colours) 5-Shitty selection of the lf zenkai (And to be worst, it sucks) I love Dragon Ball, but this game is embarrasing to the franchise. I feel like part of the reason new mechanics are usually put on bad modern characters (outside of ultras) is their lazy attempt of curbing possible power creep if the ability does end up being very strong. I think thats fine. the problem is that these are usually put on celebration units to build hype and then proceed to not deliver
At this point the developers dont know what there doing and are just releasing units left and right no thoughts into it (TVB being a exception) vegito is so good but his banner is bad goku blacks banner is very good but he is a disgrace to himanity

I'm just gonna say this but, i just pulled lf vegito and as i get into a match i face against someone who has ultra majin vegeta and lf vegito then i am losing alot of points in pvp. So i hope legends can really find that middle ground for ultra characters who have these unique gauges and ngl but part is very overwhelming, and I'm praying that part 2 is better then part 1

This is EXACTLY how I feel. Part 1’s message had NOTHING to do with Vegito. It was a Trunks and Mai moment. But one, the Sparking Mai wasn’t shown properly. And they had the common decency to make a new RAGE Trunks a F2P. As well as Zenkai a bad Trunks.
They can't find some sort of balance between character and their kits
It's either broken gauge , infinite combo, new mechanic to counter other broken mechanics
It's just a never ending cycle of same old thing this could be next:
Reduce ki (cannot be cancelled)
Destroy cards ( cannot be cancelled) like cannot be cancelled debuffs
Or maybe cannot be canceled new unique gauges that stops rushes and ults (imagine a Goku freiza but multiple gauges and can't be nullified by lf vegito blue new mechanic)
They keep making units counter unfair and toxic units like ultra majina Vegeta in the near future there's going to be a character that has literally everything in his kit
I can't lie the thing i hate the most is when legends add extremely out dated units to a banner the Goku and Bardock banner was so bad I didn't even summon
I think future gohan would have been a way better pick for zenkai because even though he doesn't buff vb with his z ability or wouldn't with his zenkai ability, he would still buff Rosè. On top of that he already has support utility, and defense disruption in his base kit, he can be a great universal unit again but oh well missed opportunity.

To me vegito being overwhelming isn't an issue cause all they have to do is release a purple who removes buff effects whenever he enters the battlefield or enemy switches. Like making a vegito counter isn't that bad cause you are not cranking the dmg no.s or making silly mechanics. Issue will be the part 3 ultra who'll have another auto mechanic so we'll have to increase powercreep by cranking up no.s just so they can have a chance against that unit.

1-Sh1t selections of characters
2-No new mechanincs(The vegito's one isn't a new mechanic at all, and the rose's one is just lack of creativity and laziness)
3-Shitty banners
4-Shitty Events(The space rush is te same ting, but with tipe colours)
5-Shitty selection of the lf zenkai (And to be worst, it sucks)

Aside from all these issues which are typical legends issues since the game has always been unoptimised garbage, I think that so far the celebration is lacking hype. Banners are honestly not that impressive, the headliners are characters we’ve had a trillion times before and it’s almost the trillionth time we’ve had a legends fest be future themed. It’s boring
