You picked an excellent track to start. Moonbyul has a diverse range of solo material. I call her the chameleon of Mamamoo. She has songs and looks that personify girlie K-Pop, such as Selfish, where Seulgi, from Red Velvet joins her in the music video, to this song. It is worth a look to give you an idea of how different Moonbyul can appear. Eclipse, has spine tingling moments through out. Just amazing! This is my view; Hwasa from mamamoo has my favourite solo releases. If you know her back story, many of her videos are real emotional roller coasters. How she had the will to carry on with life, let alone a music career, is an absolute credit to her strength of character. She received an insane amount of hatred when Mamamoo first debuted, which continued for a long time. Moonbyul solo releases are a very close second to Hwasa for me.
She was able to bring out an amazing level of stink face from you. I have no idea what I looked like the first time I watched this video, no camera present, but I remember it hit hard.
They are all amazing dancers, people just don't talk much about it because the vocals are overshadowing the dance. From 2014 to including 2018 they choregraphed all their songs themselves, it startet because RBW couldn't afford them a choreographer and ended because they wanted to prove that they can dance. Some people said that Mamamoo can't dance and are only able so sing live that good because their choreos are easy. They all proved them wrong.
FYI this was shot at night and Solar showed up to help Moonbyul get through it. She does that a lot, just shows up on set... there was one show that Moonbyul was doing where she was part of a team of Idols/Actors playing soccer. Solar showed up for their first game, Moonbyul didn't know she was coming. Moonbyul was so appreciative that she broke down in tears. Another time when Solar was doing "Mata Hari", Moonbyul was backstage and broke down becuse she could see how much Solar had put into the performance.
