Hogue is just an amazing company and there products are just 1st class. I have the micro flip with gray scales and has the switch that locks blade in the open position. The Deka also is another great knife as well. Ive had a couple of my guns that had there grips and there just amazing. Thanx for the video n take it easy.
I recently discovered Hogue & I fell in love instantly. I have a Deka that I adore with 2 more on the way (triplets!), an X1 Microflip on the way, & a Mini RSK that's one of my favorite knives overall. I've never experienced a knife brand that so consistently had knives with amazing action right out of the box. And the amount of knife you get, especially with blade steel (20CV anyone?) is fantastic for the price. I'm a fan for life.
Bought a Kershaw Launch 7 for Christmas, and although I absolutely love it I was dissapointed with the blade being not "hair splitting sharp" out of the box and its really gritty feeling aluminum scales. Kinda wish I spent the extra $20 on the Hogue auto
Love my hogue, and the design is crazy with a “ramp” like detention channel. Also fyi the lock only engages when the blade is deployed. So I’m assuming they made it lock when it’s open so u don’t accidentally hit the button when deployed?? But I’m jealous u don’t have the safety switch
Hello, what is the reduction of a knife blade in millimeters how much? if you hold the knife in your left hand, will the lock button be pressed or not?
My wife got me the Deka for my birthday and I absolutely love it. Buttery smooth and the able lock is fantastic. However... I just broke off the pocket clip last night getting out of my car. It got snagged on the seat belt and snapped clean off. Going to try out their customer service later on today and see how good it is.
You should try the Hogue Deka, cpm-20cv steel, g10 scales, axis type lock, us made $140, 3.25 inch blade and 2.6 oz. That secondary detent is why I don't like the micro flip, the tension when closing it, they put it there to make it flip better. But they killed the main reason I like manual button locks, which is pressing the button and the blade falling shut, like everyone does with and axis or compression lock.
I just got my first one, an aquamarine Microflip and it's the knife i always dreamt of having. It is solid as hell but aesthetically elegant. I got it today and it's also my third knife but i find it very hard to open. Either i'm just not used to it, it needs to be broken in or there might be something wrong. I don't mind if it takes me a few seconds more to open than the average flipper but i'll still ask someone to take a quick look at it for me.
Just got myself the same X1 Microflip from bladehq, seems like Hogue has ditched the aluminium backspacer for a polymer one, and it sits flush with the scales at the bottom instead of protruding like the one. Nothing else is different about it though otherwise, Hogue's quality is on point.
You asked what's going on? I work at Carl's jr in Oroville California. I'm a part of the night crew and I'm the Fry boy. I run sides, which includes making fries, chicken tenders, and any other chicken product, also fried zucchini (the worst thing to make), jalapeno peppers, onion rings, and so forth. Even though I am friends with all my coworkers, and I keep my station cleaner than anyone else who works there, I get yelled at by my manager because someone complained of a bad attitude. It was my shift manager on night crew. He gets terribly angry every night because he hates customers. I always smile and have a positive attitude. I only get 15 hrs a week because the manager doesnt like me even though I'm the top performer
As a student, I was scared to make the purchase since i don't have the most money either but I really had my heart set on it. Now that I have it, i don't feel the need to buy a bunch of other knives to find the perfect one cause I found it.
Could we get a story time one of the days, I really enjoy all of your content but your stories while you smoke a pipe or cigar really makes my day. I'm pretty sure others will agree.

I have the all black Wharncliffe version (w/ the safety switch that I don't use) & I like it almost as much as my Deca Wharnie!

Very cool small knife. I also like hollow ground blades, and button locks are the bomb.
I want to get the automatic version of this knife, it has really nice design.

Excellent Amrican made knives my Company makes the screws and buttons for Hogue well designed and hefty knives I have 2 myself

You should check out the Hogue version of the Doug Ritter knife. A much better upgrade from the Benchmade Doug Ritter Grip.
