I've seen so many treat holders thru the years but this one is simple and yet looks so special. I am going to do them for my family Christmas Dinner and the tag will be perfect for the person's name so I can use them as place holders. Thanks for the inspiration.
No need for interfacing as the paper is heavy card stock. Your comment did give me a great idea to make some of these out of scrap fabric with a ribbon at the top for hanging like an ornament that can be used over and over again.
I've also done these with a candy in one pocket and a tea bag on other side. I've given them to co-workers, Doctor's office staff, a little something at appointments, waitress. To do a gift for family and friends I made them and tied to a mug handle filled with goodies.
You could put a small package of cookies in the middle with a tea bag on one side and greeting card with a chocolate on the other. Fun size treat holder!
The gadget looks like it’s from Stampin’ Up! There’s a cutter and separate scoring slider. Fiskars also makes one, but it’s hard finding the separate scoring slider. I use a scoring board (by ek tools)for scrapbooking and card making.
Way cute And as easy as you explained it to be. I’m not much of one doing paper things, but this turned out really great. I made Christmas favors for my Sunday school class.
Love these we don’t often see that chocolate in U.K. has anyone tried other chocolate I can get in U.K. I ‘d rather do a sweet treat than the tea bag . Great idea x
Super cute and fast to make. I can think of dozens of occasions to make and use these for. Just discovered your channel today. A great way to use up all those pre-cut 6 x 6 papers I have accumulated. Thank you.
They’re so cute and quick to make. Thanks for sharing. Just found you but I’ll be watching now. I like ma king treat holders and of course the family enjoy them.
This a GREAT treat bag (way more adorable than anything I have seen. Especially if a smidge larger to be able to put a gift card for a teacher The first one I made must have been off on the scoring measurements because it was a little higher on one flap. Trying again and will listen to the measurement better.
Thank you so much, Chris! I need to make a larger version too. I think this is a great bag also. 😄 I’m so glad you tuned in and I appreciate your comments. 😊
It’s a Stampin’ Up trimmer that has the blade and scoring tool in the same track. I love mine. You can buy one from me if you are in the US: orderwithdeb.com. Check out all the supplies at stampinup.com.
Perhaps one could fit sideways in the center part. If you make the whole thing larger a gift card would fit in the pockets. Thanks for watching and commenting! ❤️
Nola, thank you for subscribing and commenting. I usually take my product cost and triple it and round that up for a single and make a “buy more for a deal”offer to entice multiple sales. I hope that helps!
So I don’t know if you’re still getting messages and I’m talking about the treat holders that you did for 2022 I just watched the video again and I’m very impressed. So what did you sell those for and how much do you think was your cost?
It’s a Stampin’ Up! trimmer. You can order one from me if you are in the US: orderwithdeb.com. Or from your demonstrator if you already have one. Check out all the supplies at stampinup.com.
Thank you, Linda! These are a bit too small for a gift card, unless maybe you put it between the pockets sideways..but it might fall out. If you increased the size a bit I think a gift card would fit in the pockets. I may have to play around with that idea. 🤔 Thanks!
I know pricing will depend on a lot of factors, but could you give a rough idea of how to price these (not including the price of candy)? I've never done a craft fair before. I'm not planning for this year, but looking ahead to next year. Thank you!
Calculate out your cost for all the little bits on one before you mass produce. Multiply by 3 and round up. That is your single cost and have a little discount for buying multiples. If it is quick to make then that is best. For items that take longer you might want to see how long it takes to make 10 and see what your hourly wage turns out to be after tripling your cost. You might find those projects that take longer are not worth your time to mass produce, even though they are cute. Good luck!
Jenny, it is a Stampin’ Up! trimmer with cutting and scoring blades. You can find it in my online store at orderwithdeb.com or your local Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.
Hi Bonnie, I don’t have a pattern, you’ll just have to follow along with the measurements in the video. It’s pretty simple and quick. Thanks for watching!
I believe the measurements are in the video. The paper is 6” x 6”. Put the folded edge in and score at 3/4” and turn folded edge to the top and place the left tip to score at 3” and 5-1/2”. And then fold as per the video. I hope this helps!

Sandy, thank you so much for your kind words. I appreciate you!
Hi! I just watched this. I'm a quilter/crafter & I can see these made with interfaced fabric to make it stiffer!!!! Such a cute gift idea 😊😊
No need for interfacing as the paper is heavy card stock. Your comment did give me a great idea to make some of these out of scrap fabric with a ribbon at the top for hanging like an ornament that can be used over and over again.
They would be more durable for re-use. And use up my fabric scraps!
Fun idea!
I have made these for years for tea bags as favors. So easy and so pretty!
I've also done these with a candy in one pocket and a tea bag on other side. I've given them to co-workers, Doctor's office staff, a little something at appointments, waitress. To do a gift for family and friends I made them and tied to a mug handle filled with goodies.
I love the way you record. Great craft
Thanks so much 😊
Very cute. A little grommet would be cute!
You could put a small package of cookies in the middle with a tea bag on one side and greeting card with a chocolate on the other. Fun size treat holder!

Super cute! Great idea for holiday giving!! (btw if you use these chocolates again in a video, they are pronounced gear-a-del-ee) 😃
Thanks for the tip! Someone else let me know too. I probably won’t hear the end of it, haha! 😆
This little treat holder is sooooo cute…will a gift card fit in length wise? 💕
I don’t think it’s wide enough but you could make a bigger one! Experiment with copy paper starting with different size squares to see what will fit.
