Single player Minecraft has always had an eerie vibe to it but its kinda died out over the years. For me, personally, its added a much needed feeling that highlights an ASMR aspect of it but it is kinda sad that that original kinda scare is gone. Just a passing thought pay it no mind.

When the power went out and you lost footage, was that an OBS screen capture or a replay mod type of thing? With OBS if you record in MKV instead on MP4, the file wont get corrupted if you lose power of it stops unexpectedly. With MP4 file, if the file isn't finalized properly it will get corrupted. I was given this advice a while ago. The only issue is that you may have to remux to mp4 before importing into an editor. But it doesn't take long only a few seconds but it's another step in your editing pipeline.
And so if you do lose power again the MKV file should be able to be remuxed to MP4, or worst case still recoverable with Handbrake.
I had the power go out while playing in my ancient survival world that's been going since 1.11 and the world was corrupted with random chunks everywhere, years of work lost. This was before I was backing my worlds up. I did manage to recover most of it with Region Fixer and creative mode, but it was an ordeal! Now I backup after every session like OCD lol I still play in that world now in 1.20.4
