Even though I expected Shagaru's return because of its connection to Gore, I almost shouted in joy upon seeing it in the trailer! And that beam's new. That concentrated Frenzy sounds rather scary.
It brings me so much joy to see Shagaru and Gore get in the new game, so many fond memories hunting them both I’m so excited to see how their movesets have changed or evolved
This trailer completely blew me away once more with so many new and interesting things shown. Shagaru, blighted monsters, a hint at the final boss of this new adventure... I can't wait anymore
The odd looking rock formations surrounding the supposed arena of the final boss monsters, reminds me of the same rock formations which can be seen at Coral Palace where we fight the Storm Serpents ngl.

@@allanredhill8682 In older games they both used to be incredibly difficult to deal with. But now as games got easier with the introduction of new mechanics, their fights have fallen short. Pickle might be my favorite monster but even I can agree with you on this one. The pickle from tri, 4, and GenU isn’t the same one as from worlds and hopefully rise. The same goes for rajang, though his improvement cycle is more like a roller coaster.
I remember fighting Shagaru solo in 4U and feeling like a total badass. The music, the story, the intense action. Ahhhhh it was all so good, it still sends a shiver down my spine. Yes yes yes a million times. I am so hyped for Sunbreak!
Yeah same especialy on the « caravaneers challenge » were you gotta fight a zinogre and a rajang at the same Time , and after a shagaru magala. I remeber being so proud when i finaly completed it. Most intense shagaru i ever experience
NGl Shagaru and molten tigrex in mh4u is my training sacks because their map is just one single map ;'-; They helped me a lot improving my skills back then lol ! I cannot wait to face my training buddy again here
That Shagaru Magala theme song!! Look at him! Sunbreak's monster roster absolutely fucking rocks so far, I'm so happy and so excited. MH4U has a very very special place in my heart, and seeing Seregios, Gore, and Shagaru all coming back just makes me smile ❤️
I feel the same as MH4U was the first game in the series I played so the monsters from that game mean a lot to me. The one thing that will make me even happier would be if chaotic gore shows up
As a fourth fleeter I'm really missed those guys Daimyo, shogun, gore, shagaru, seregios, I cannot ask more. But i wanted more surprise in the game. I'm absolutely taking annual leave on 30th June
I love the new painting design of monsters at the start, it's so cool to see the variety of the world from a different location, and also for how hard monster hunter is going in on the themes of the game

If you look closely, you can see that it bodies TWO flying wyverns at the same time! That's twice the amount of wyvern ownage we've seen in a single fight! Ferocious.
The lord of light and darkness and the legendary super saiyan returns in a epic extension. I'm also happy they brought back my boy bazelgeuse his ultimate form.

Shagaru is back, Monster hunter consistently always makes me feel rewarded for being a fan. Capcom is the one game studio left that I think legitimately cares about their fans.
Yeah they love them so much they would rather throw useless cosmetics and voice packs at you instead of adding content. Now you have all forgotten about the shitty life and no end game of rise and expect Sunbreak to be any different bar a few new monsters (most of them from older titles). I'm not touching this with a well done steak until it's out and been reviewed.
@@LJAndrews1986 monster hunter base games have always been kinda meh at its end game. games are never feel fully completed until its G-rank versions are out. At least now you're able to buy G-rank versions are DLCs rather then a old new game like back in the day.

I’ve been waiting for Shagaru for too long now. Finally, I can show the monster that truly taught me how to _learn_ as a monster hunter what I’ve mastered. Side note: it seems the random Frenzy explosions have been replaced with explosion patterns happening in time with Shagaru’s attacks. Should make it more distinguishable from its younger self.
@@olenhol2przez4 Oh I won’t worry about it being too easy; I finally understood the flow of a hunt after solo grinding the High Rank Shagaru multiplayer quest for *several hours* trying to get his plate. If anything, dancing circles around him and destroying him 14 ways to Sunday is gonna feel absolutely _cathartic._ Oh, and I can finally pull a Big Bang on Gore’s pesky feelers, even if it’s no longer Hammer’s best DPS option.
Back in MH4U, Guild Quest Shagaru (Lv.126+) already had explosions synced up with its attacks. These were distinct from the random ones that happen wen it goes enraged.
I'd say it's more likely that they're just draining the tetranodon's life force, like the butterflies have already been shown to do with previous trailers and how malzeno feeds in the demo

Welp, now I very much am getting the game. Shagaru Magala is the first Elder Dragon I ever fought solo and remains one of my favourites in design to this day.

I didn't think they could top the Wyvern Riding trailer from base Rise, but they've somehow done it. The vocals almost brought me to tears of joy for a second at the end.
......I'm so proud that I've stuck to this series for 16 years.... I thought I would have grown out of it but I'm here in my 30s still getting excited just like how I used to be in my early teens. I'll never stop playing monster hunter, I have flowed this game everywhere from platform to platform, I remember I even didn't show up on a date because I wanted to farm yamatsukami back in mh2g. Sigh this game is too good. Looking forward to seeing you all in there kicking ass :)
Shagaru just shows us not only its strength but also its ruthless intelligence Grabbing Seregios and straight up slamming it into the Barioth incapacitating both at the same time! Intelligent and Badass, killing two birds with one stone.
Oh my god, they've overhauled Shagaru. I expected to see him, I did NOT expect to see him launching Frenzy lasers or using the last game's random eruptions more deliberately. He looks GORGEOUS. I'm so happy to know that this expansion is just a couple days away (er, plus a couple more days for my switch to take its sweet time downloading it). I simply cannot wait, this looks like it could well be one of the best things on the Switch, hell, might be one of the best things to come out on PC lately as well. Thanks, guys.
So in hindsight the Rajang and Bazelguese have switched roles Vanilla Rajang and Furious are base game monsters Bazelguese and Seething are Title updates Opposite of World and Iceborne Did anyone notice that?

@PallyK Do you have a source tweet? I'm looking at the official twitter but there's no announcement in regards to cinematic tools. I think you're referring to the short clips they demonstrate that show odd angles and distances? Those were also present in the teaser clips for MHW, but none of these tools were released to the public except for a constrained freecam mode.
Shagaru is back !!! This monster has my favourite theme in the entire game. So epic, so powerful. Can't wait to hear that remix. Also is it the voice of Robbie Daymond we hear at the beginning of the trailer ?

With Shagaru & Gore Magala, comes frenzied Rathalos, Tigrex and many other monsters corrupted by the frenzy virus. This is everything I’ve ever wanted in MHWorld. Too bad I don’t have a switch but I’m happy many new hunters get to experience fighting iconic monster
I highly doubt they will bring back the frenzied monsters. That was 4/4Us endgame system not this games. You can play Rise on PC as well you don't need a switch.
Seeing how being invaded actually more benefit us than ruining our hunts thanks to the wyvern riding mechanics, i think it won't really happen. Unless they do something about it first (the wyvern riding system)
@@luckyhydra7597 You misunderstand the mechanic I'm referring to, I'm speaking about the one added specifically for Bazelgeuse in World. Basil geese honing towards the zone when a Monster enraged was always entertaining, at least for me. It made him a true 'invader' which Rise basically spat on by completely disregarding that unique AI. He isn't an invader anymore, just a means to get Wyvern Ride.
I was in the bathroom while some friends of mine were over when I watched this on my phone. I remember thinking, "Wow, that's so cool!" at the end.... and then i heard the music. the iconic choir of the BEST monster in monster hunter (no i will not be taking opinions thank you) and I screamed, and fell off the toilet. My friends went running to check on me lmao.
I love how Shagaru just kind of catches the Seregios with this almost firm but violent crack, then slams it to the ground. It's terrifying to see Shagaru display his physical prowess instead of his control over the frenzy, which is what is usually what has more emphasis in reveals like this.
Rise is my first MH game (well, first I've beaten). I hope I get to experience the nostalgia you guys are getting now if the yokai monsters show up in the next games.
Ty monster hunter for everything, from a newbie from world to a expert at GU, and now this... Truly, I've nevered felt so much emotion (raising hunting horn in salute), continue guys and I'll keep the buffs going. Not only that but I'm so glad I found this series, hope all new and old can work together to the end, MH will forever live on , see you guts out therE.
I really wanted more Western Horror monsters such as Vaal Hazak (Zombie), Namielle (Sea Monster), Malfestio (Wizard) and maybe Odogaron (Hellhound). Still hoping they are added as DLCs
Odo is a kamaitachi tho which Great Izuchi already is, but considering that Zinogre is already in I see no reason they wouldn't bring back the true hellhound of the stygian pits
Would have been weird if Shagaru didn't show up. So, neither Malzeno, Gore or Shagaru are the true endboss in this story. And whatever Elder Dragon it is, it is out in the sea. Probably a new monster, but the return of the third Black Dragon, Dire Miralis, would be glorious.

11/10 Already better than Iceborne. I hope capcom adds more monsters GU style. One thing lacking in New monster hunter games are siege bosses that are good, and huge bosses like dalamadur, akantor, ukanlos etc.

I’ve been waiting for Shagaru for too long now. Finally, I can show the monster that truly taught me how to _learn_ as a monster hunter what I’ve mastered.
Side note: it seems the random Frenzy explosions have been replaced with explosion patterns happening in time with Shagaru’s attacks. Should make it more distinguishable from its younger self.
And the explosions seem more fair to me now. Back then they were semi-random and they made the fight a bit annoying IMO

Back in MH4U, Guild Quest Shagaru (Lv.126+) already had explosions synced up with its attacks. These were distinct from the random ones that happen wen it goes enraged.

I'd say it's more likely that they're just draining the tetranodon's life force, like the butterflies have already been shown to do with previous trailers and how malzeno feeds in the demo

Welp, now I very much am getting the game. Shagaru Magala is the first Elder Dragon I ever fought solo and remains one of my favourites in design to this day.
I remember that village quest in 4U, so freaking hard for me back then

I didn't think they could top the Wyvern Riding trailer from base Rise, but they've somehow done it. The vocals almost brought me to tears of joy for a second at the end.
Man, seeing Shagaru and hearing his theme again in the new game instantly brought me to tears. I can't describe how happy I am right now.
......I'm so proud that I've stuck to this series for 16 years.... I thought I would have grown out of it but I'm here in my 30s still getting excited just like how I used to be in my early teens. I'll never stop playing monster hunter, I have flowed this game everywhere from platform to platform, I remember I even didn't show up on a date because I wanted to farm yamatsukami back in mh2g. Sigh this game is too good. Looking forward to seeing you all in there kicking ass :)

Oh my god, they've overhauled Shagaru. I expected to see him, I did NOT expect to see him launching Frenzy lasers or using the last game's random eruptions more deliberately. He looks GORGEOUS.
I'm so happy to know that this expansion is just a couple days away (er, plus a couple more days for my switch to take its sweet time downloading it). I simply cannot wait, this looks like it could well be one of the best things on the Switch, hell, might be one of the best things to come out on PC lately as well. Thanks, guys.

Vanilla Rajang and Furious are base game monsters
Bazelguese and Seething are Title updates
Opposite of World and Iceborne

Seething seems to be in the next title update while vanilla bazel and both rajangs are in base sunbreak till then

@PallyK Do you have a source tweet? I'm looking at the official twitter but there's no announcement in regards to cinematic tools. I think you're referring to the short clips they demonstrate that show odd angles and distances? Those were also present in the teaser clips for MHW, but none of these tools were released to the public except for a constrained freecam mode.
Shagaru is back !!! This monster has my favourite theme in the entire game. So epic, so powerful. Can't wait to hear that remix.

Wouldn't say 'Invader' since Rise complete removed/ruined his invading mechanic, really he just exists on the map like every other Monster.
Seeing how being invaded actually more benefit us than ruining our hunts thanks to the wyvern riding mechanics, i think it won't really happen. Unless they do something about it first (the wyvern riding system)

@@luckyhydra7597 You misunderstand the mechanic I'm referring to, I'm speaking about the one added specifically for Bazelgeuse in World. Basil geese honing towards the zone when a Monster enraged was always entertaining, at least for me. It made him a true 'invader' which Rise basically spat on by completely disregarding that unique AI. He isn't an invader anymore, just a means to get Wyvern Ride.
The scene with the giant boat with the double dragonators gives me hope of a giant water monster siege fight.

I was in the bathroom while some friends of mine were over when I watched this on my phone. I remember thinking, "Wow, that's so cool!" at the end.... and then i heard the music. the iconic choir of the BEST monster in monster hunter (no i will not be taking opinions thank you) and I screamed, and fell off the toilet. My friends went running to check on me lmao.

I love how Shagaru just kind of catches the Seregios with this almost firm but violent crack, then slams it to the ground. It's terrifying to see Shagaru display his physical prowess instead of his control over the frenzy, which is what is usually what has more emphasis in reveals like this.
It looks to me like magnamalo has been working out that or the frontier designers got to him.

I really wanted more Western Horror monsters such as Vaal Hazak (Zombie), Namielle (Sea Monster), Malfestio (Wizard) and maybe Odogaron (Hellhound). Still hoping they are added as DLCs

11/10 Already better than Iceborne. I hope capcom adds more monsters GU style. One thing lacking in New monster hunter games are siege bosses that are good, and huge bosses like dalamadur, akantor, ukanlos etc.
Mh4U as is it my first mh game, I'm so happy that gore Seregios and Shagaru made it in Sunbreak, this expansion itself was everything I wanted, yet you found a way to give me more and I couldn't be Thankful enough
