I think Rob Edwards is on borrowed time. His tactical shortcomings are there for all to see and every club knows how to beat us given our one style of play. The defending is woeful, Adebayo seems uninterested and Morris spends all his time on the floor, arms in the air, complaining. Chong's our best player, let's hope he doesn't lose heart with what goes on around him! On the plus side, things are so bad right now they can only get better 😃
I'm just wondering, if we had Shea on goal he would give us better leadership on the back line. RE brings subs on too late in the game. We clearly have hungry players in Nelson, for example who should maybe start for us.
possibly on the reasons Nelson is not regularly thrown in the line up. He will want to instil confidence, build on his strength, work on the weaknesses in the positions. Remember for a squad some of the players have been in among some seasoned professional even in the lower divisions. Boy becoming a man argument. Same reason for Joe Johnson getting a minutes, now getting significant game time. Bang some senior heads for the next match after intl break.
I think we need to stop using losses in the premier league in the stats, it skews it a bit unfairly I think. That said, it has been about as poor a start to the season as you can get. Deggy I maybe getting a bit long in the tooth these days, meaning I have been through all this before, the ups the downs, the ups the downs, it's like a washing machine cycle. I can only give an overall perspective as an old git these days. We didn't Strengthen the squad sufficiently during the PL season and we did not use the Jan transfer window to bring in some seasoned quality at that level. We dropped out and if I'm honest the squad looks worse now than last year, as again there has been no proper upgrades. We have lost a few players that need no mentions. The new Stadium and Sustainability we can all understand given our chequered past. The balance of shopping in the basement aisles and remaining solvent versus bringing in the quality players needed is still being played out on a weekly basis. Midfield needs a ball winner next to a creator , upfront needs a finisher feeding off a forward able to hold the ball up.. I see bad team selection and a lack of togetherness. I'll still be doing my best to get a ticket for Millwall.. #COYH

It’s just so frustrating isn’t it? We have no scorers upfront - its like they’re scared to take a shot! Our defence looks non existent at times, and is too easy to get through, as seen from madsen’s goal. Ball through the top. Just too easy. However, was a much better first half from us. The first 20 minutes or so we saw the electricity from the flanks with chongy, alfie, walters and so. Overall, lots of squandered chances and not brave enough up front. Start jt!!! great video, COYH

the strikers are out of form but it happens, but should of changed it ,i.e one striker extra midfield. the defence was a disaster. never seen a defence that bad in any team ever, it was diabolical.
Signing players just to keep the physio busy. Need to sign decent players who are ready to play. Appalling start to the season. Adebeyo cant be bothered, no life in the squad. Embarrassing
