Not true.. vermeil is not the same as gold plated. Vermeil is way thicker. Gold plating over sterling silver has to be at the minimum 3.5 microns thicker than standard gold plating to be called vermeil…

I could really only wear pleated if it was a gift. Vermeil I'd only go solid silver at that point and I never go wrong solid gold .

I keep hearing HarlemBling plating is trash. Like Gold plated or Vermeil fades within a couple weeks to a couple months. And replating the chains are not cheap a few places here charges $75+ each time to replate.

not everyone has the money to buy one , I have real and plated Jewelry I even have the harlembing gold stainless , it comes down to budgeting and being smart , money does not have to go in to something very expensive.

i had a real 10k chain but it broke after less then a week so i decided to get a vermil and its lasted way longer
