As a Croat living in Sweden I must say the way Modi and the foreign minister of India have behaved on the world stage is very impressive. They are not clowning around , pushing empty platitudes but behave as solid , clear minded leaders of a great country trying to gather what is best for the country they represent. It can be seen in their approach to Russia , to the west , to China. Look at us in the west … many of our leaders nowadays are either subservient to the US , which itself has turned into somewhat of a clown town.
It’s a shame India and Pakistan don’t unite either politically or in friendship as a closer bond would mean both would benefit from open trade and even Pakistan could grow much richer by being the highway for Indian goods and resources from Europe, Russia , -stans, Iran to India. All this long held animosity over Kashmir is ridiculous… just agree on the current line : 50% 50% basically and let the past be behind you.
Maybe one day Pakistanis wake up and realise that Kashmir was mostly used by politicians, military leaders inside their countries to stoke nationalist and to have something to blame for their own failed/corrupt policies. Such is the case in most countries where they don’t wish to end a crisis.

Indian audience cannot digest such behaviour. & Pakistani Army is reluctant to let go off that Terror policy, because one on one they cannot compete with India now, so they have to use irregular radicals.
