"take things day by day and believe in yourself" bless you man
Been procrastinating making music because ableton confused me, watched this and it's all made clear. Thx
Hey do you know the answer to my comment?
Moving from Logic X to Ableton 10 this week - this has been a fantastic crash course just to get around the basics. Feel like I'm already half way migrated already!
Great!
2,5 years later, still super helpful, thank you so much for your beginners series!!
"I'm going to assume you know what .. is" proceeds to explain it :D Great video man^^
;) Thanks for your support
Sorry to do that to you haha! :)
Did you see my comment? Can you help please hahah
This is my first time opening Ableton and any music program in general. Thanks you explain so well and seem really down to earth!
I appreciate that the color of the background of the room matches that of the interface. Makes it easy on the eyes.
Best Video I have ever seen about the Tutorials. Thanks Man.
Love your work. Straight to the point and well explained. Much appreciated.
Thanks for watching!
Having just purchased a Novation launchkey 61 mkII I have been soooo lost trying to get it to work with ableton but slowly by watching your videos over and over I am starting to figure it out. This vid just showed me how to map midi keys as I was trying to do that with keys but noooo, use midi.. duh.. lol. Thanks much, Im glad I found your channel and subscribed!
So useful! I started learning Ableton 2 weeks ago and your videos have been very helpful. Thank you.
This is one of the best tutorials I've ever seen on any subject!! Very easy to follow along, precise, and to the point. Great job man.. subbed
That's an incredible compliment my friend, thank you so much!
You are the one and the only who made a tutorial and without talking straight to the point! I mean others have probably 5-7min talk before they start :D Thank you!
Haha trust me dude, I think I do a fair bit of pointless yabbering sometimes... ;) But I try to get to the point!
Mate you are the best i swear :D
Thanks for doing this! I'm a computer programmer and a sound engineer and you saved me a lot of time. Cheers!
Legend! This is precisely what I was looking for. Thank you.
Probably one of the best videos I have seen on this new format. Thanks dude!
this video is very helpful for learning the basics of the interface

Thank you! This was extremely helpful
Hi, I hate the opposite scrolling on macs as well. If you didn’t know how to fix that: you can go to settings and mouse setting and uncheck the “scroll direction : natural”. That will fix it
Thanks for this! Super helpful and better than Ableton's own intro lesson pack. lol
That's great feedback @MajorBS, thank you!
This video is so good, thanks man.
Thanks so much. This has been really helpful
Thank you, Excellent.
I WILL believe in myself >:)

Thank you so much for this... appreciate it! :)
My bro, my pleasure!
Legend! Excellent work dude.
This is very helpful. I'm looking forward to watch the next videos. Btw: I don't get what the pencil is for :)
As a fl studio user, I need tutorials lol
Dexter eh, I haven’t touched either recently but I’m still on fl because I’m used to it more, I recommend ableton if you like laying out your drums rather then doing stuff in a pattern rack in fl (that’s how I make beats) anyways yeah I hope I use ableton more and see which I prefer (rn fl lmao)
Perfect, made it so much easier to get into it :3
:) Go forth and create badass tunes ;)
Great video man! keep it up!
Thanks a bunch teach! Great video :)
awesome thank you
love this
Great video! Quick question: which Ableton Live theme are you using? The standard ones really look awful for when you want to produce at evening/night time.. Thanks!
keep making vids man
Thanks mate, will do! :)
thanks for making this video bro
Great wideo man! Really useful! Thank you! There's a lag between my midi controller (netkar) and Ableton when I play a note. Do you know how to reduce it ? Thanks a lot!
Thirty seconds in and I'm missing a component (link option) I have Live 10 Standard edition.
Hey Nice Video Mate! Can you tell me how do you open piano roll and all this other stuff, i can't see any buttons for the same
Thanks man!
Very Good My Friend Bravo!
hey, did you finally do any videos about the automation button ?
MAN I LOVED THIS VIDEO BUT CTRL+ SHIFT + M DOESN´T WORK FOR CREATING A MIDI CLIP
DO YOU KNOW IF THEY CHANGED IT OR SOMETHING?
I'm also having this issue
Just figured it out, make sure the channel you're trying to put the midi clip in is actually midi and not audio. Hope you get what I mean and this helps
PERFECT!!!
Thanks Bro
you're a angle in disguise :) and what's next ? like next step or something a series or a guide just after this video will be helpful :)
Well, I'm keen to hear suggestions. What do you think I should cover next?
obtuse
Nice stuff.
Thanks for your support :)
Mr.Robots' teaching ableton up in this bitch.
Hey I downloaded the trail yesterday and was having fun learning the basic and then all audio just died. Closed it, opened a brand new project... but now everything is silent. Not even the samples play. Any thoughts?
:) crazy dude
If u want the trial forever just get a vpn and delete it when the trial is over and download it again using the vpn
Hi, my test tone in audio preferences is working, but no other audio. Any idea what to do? Thanks
thank
At 26:33 I'm trying to do the same thing with my mouse on the keys but I'm not hearing any sounds, only on my midi controller.
Hey man if you see this can you please reply, or if anyone knows the solution to this can you please reply?
Did u figure it out
Hi CI
Are you using Live 10 Standard or Suite?
Does abelton have all acoustic instrumental sounds?
I want to move over to ableton from fl but this is such a jarring switch. Is it worth the headache of relearning?
Hey Jack, it can be extremely difficult to transition indeed! I don't know a whole lot about FL, but if you have it in your mind you want to switch I'd keep pushing through. Hopefuly my tutorials are a good guide for you.
how did you make your daw look black?
17:25 "I can just.. HUSS"
$100.00 to the first person who counts how times he says "COOL" -Ok cool
I'm going to stop saying it so much, thanks for bringing it to my attention :)
I thing I’m just gonna go to collage for audio engineering and get classes for Ableton live ten
Sounds nice, thank you
I have not seen much if using windows 10. Any suggestions?
Sorry I don't understand your question?
Cool.
I didn't see how to add effects. I'm from FL Studio and it works differently than this.
Hey Ian, I cover this here - th-cam.com/video/MIg_GErSceM/w-d-xo.html
fl or ableton?
It looks like logic pro x
Cool?
"Cool".
YOU THOUGHT THERE WAS NO GOD ALMIGHTY!
learning this piece of garbage of a software because ableton bought max and made it proprietary
Cool :) thanks for watching my videos
THERE IS NO ESCAPE FROMT THE DIVNE JUDGMENT OF GOD ALMIGHTY!
Thanks dude!
Very helpful, thanks!
