Very interesting interview, i do think eventually the AI will be able to understand our creativity genius , and also i do think education and elder support will also be corevered by AI but i loved how she talked about all of this. Certainly one of the best interview from Nvidia Developer this week. Thank you for sharing your precious insights!

It will get interesting when/if AI gets more useful for scientific research.

It's starting to take off in Bio-sciences, and medical applications, But Demis Hasabis's whole dream is AI for Sci research

Are you saying that the profession of psychological counselors will remain the only occupation that people do?

If nothing is done to mitigate the risk of late stage capitalism due to mass unemployability then its going to be a dystopian attractor state.

@@Wobbothe3rd And your evidence/proof of this is? There's plenty of evidence for permanent job loss. If you paid attention to the talk you would have noticed that the speaker was not pointing to any concrete and economically valuable skill, quality, or ability that AGI cannot eventually replicate and supercede. Her response was essentially an empty based on an emotional assumption of humans having some ultimate creativity that AI/AGI can never replicate.

    I try to reach them...I can't.
    I try to warn them...they won't listen.
They think they have the power...they think wrong.
I play them like pieces in a game of chess. And soon they will be gone.

These lyrics are inconsistent. Why try to warn and help someone, then play them like a chess piece? Seems like a wildly erratic person.
