Huge respect for Lee Jihye, she chose to sing Tears against Seo Moontak even tho its a suicide.
I think it wasn't a suicide action since the song fitted Jihye's tone perfectly. But knowing that Seo Moon Tak is more experienced and the mental pressure her team put since the beginning of the show, that affected their enemies' state of mind.
Solar and Wheein's reactions are just the best (Y) So proud of our girls, they deserve the praise!

Wheein was eliminated in the first round. And then "Wonderful/Fascinating Confession" was chosen as the next song. Actually, Mamamoo made a version of that on Immortal Songs 2.
I absolutely loved Lee Ji Hye and Seo Moon Tak's duet. Hearing Lee Ji Hye go at her best made me tear up. I really felt the song, I never thought I would cry hearing a belting song. Seo Moon Tak is killin it!

Whee In is a great vocalist but Seo Moon Tak is a legend, every time I hear her sing I get goosebumps; If Whee In had gone up against anyone else in that song she would have won
Park Jimin She did a great job, honestly. It's just that her opponent is Seo Moontak so she lays flat in comparison.
She was being polite in front of her senior. That's what I had in mind.
Sometimes, you know that you're good but you have to stay polite, especially in front of your senior.
because she did hold back. I mean yes the opponent will still be as powerful, but Wheein kind of tone it down prolly because of nerves and respect.
Wheein could have easily sang as competitively....but she was completely over whelmed. That feeling of being overwhelmed is uncontrollable.
I'm here for Mamamoo but i didn't skip anything and watched the whole thing this show is so nice and funny XD

That "Goodbye For A Moment" was the most gorgeous thing I've heard in ages. Seo Moontak can do anything!
Those parts where she put the harmonies out was beautiful and never failed to give me goosebumps.
I kinda agree with the coach tho. Sometimes singing competition always favor the high note. Like if a singer can sing in a high note, she/he will definitely wins whereas singing is not just about high note tho

Sojung did so well. I'm so proud! And Tei's voice in the 1st song that he sang blew me away. I think I'll start watching this from the 1st episode.

I found it interesting that the coach called out the fact that projecting high notes seems to be the winning criteria. I was thinking the same thing before he said it. I mean in other countries it is impressive for low notes and high notes. It feels like in S. Korea it is only high notes. Even the male singers are judged on high notes. That is my impression based on this tv series so far. I could be completely mistaken.

I'm sorry but Lee Jihye was sooooo refreshing to listen to! Haha I originally came for Wheein and Solar but Lee Jihye and Seomoon Tak are the hidden gems I wish I discovered earlier cause my god.
Edit: Lee Jinseong was another great find, I love that really desperate voice he had when he was against seomoon tak, it added so much more emotion (for me)
