If you beat duskveil one of his rewards is a needle. With that needle you can cancel his 2nd phase. He beat me like 10 times before I looked this up. I beat duskveil (who also is rage fuel) then went back to hundred eye daoist and beat him in one try
You really are the best at this, very strait forward, where to travel to and show the journey to each boss and secret. My favorite part is that you keep the shrine location posted and give more instructions on the order to do these steps

Well I managed to strangle that cock before I even realised I skipped Scorpionlord 😂 I came across him but I decided to leave for after when I explored all the map, then shit happened. One encounter with Duskveil and he is ded by the howl of it.
I went to Duskvail by mistake closed game and the SL was still gone. It sucks but I think I can still get the good ending. if not i have the games video downloaded in 4k format so i can just watch it. Still sucks tho
Im almost done with chapter 5 but I gotta say that SCORPION LORD gave me the best three hour asswhopping of my life!!! I thought that 4th dragon was bad but Scorpion lord was so OD, and once I beat him I was so relieved and went to sleep afterwards.

I beat the level boss then came back here and found out I'm locked out of the secret area. That really messes with my idea of how I'm going to enjoy things moving forward.
The secret areas and the main boss in those areas are not missable. For example; for the secret ending you need to kill the duskveil (chapter 4 secret area main boss) but the Scorpionlord and Daoist Mi are not required for the secret ending. The Scorpionlord and Daoist Mi are for portraits and cool items which unfortunately you miss out on, but not needed for the secret ending. The secret areas and secret ending is not missable, only a few bosses and quests are.

I missed the Scorpionlord boss my first playthrough and did another playthrough so I can fight him but I accidently entered the Duskviel boss arena and now I can’t fight the Scorpionlord again cause he disappears if you enter the Duskviel boss arena… I hate games that do this bro like you mess up one thing and now your whole playthrough is ruined.

This is my 2nd playthrough, so I wanted to see the scorpion lord and duskviel ( if that's how it's spelt ) battled it out, though I kinda stumbled across it. It was a pretty awesome boss battle. i threw my pluck of many into the mix and accidently helped duskviel as scorpion lord was a few hits from defeating him. Either way was interesting
@@tjselwyn7003 you’re right it’s not. But regarding its locations and areas, the exploration is mixed wider than other games attempting to make it open to those on that level. Regardless you have free roam wherever area you are to its limits. It’s up to you to find something to do.

I missed Daoist Mi, I got the key item but didn't realise that it was the so called "eggs", that I had to deliver. This is really annoying, I've to search for all the secrets at the beginning of each chapter to make sure that I don't miss any.
Don't forget that you can get the gauntlet from the venom daoist on the first encounter You need to chop of 4 of his arms The best way to do that is to immobilise him and do the staff spin attack otherwise you would kill him too fast with normal attacks
Guys is there anything to do when Daoist Mi isn't respawning? I accidently killed Duskvail before Daoits Mi and now he's not respawning anymore. I cant get a 100% on the game right now please find me a solution

Alternate locations for them would be cool, something game devs have never really dove into. The Apramana Bat is a perfect example, because his becomes missable after defeating Yellowbrow in chapter 3. During the Yellowbrow fight you get cutscenes between phases, and during the last cutscene, you see the Apramana Bat helping Yellowbrow, so his no longer in the location he originally was.

That's why I only show the very hard shrines, like the jade pool shrine can take hours to find for some players. But lower hollow is literally a 5 minute explore so didn't find it necessary to show those types.

Yeah, you need multiple play throughs to get all gear etc. I would just play it without a guide for first play through then consult guide on NG+

I think it’s fine to kill the Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master and then finish all the other bosses un the secret area. (That’s what i did)
Zhu baijie and duskveil were my most toughest bosses , hundred eyed daoist is easy with the needle so beat the duakveil first

The Scorpionlord gives you a chest armour piece, along with a few other things. Make sure you kill him in new game plus for those items

I just killed yellow long. Took me about 1.5 hours that sht is the hardest so far (i did it before chap4 boss)
Why some boss is not counting like a chief or a king like the fingerwoman or the boss who open the new place?

Yes, it's like a 5% drop chance, all you need to do with items like this, is rest at a shrine and repeat until it drops
I just killed all enemies in the area, the last guy at the top of the village near the shrine gives it you, i got it first try

A lot of the bosses have portraits tied to them, and you need all portraits for 100% achievement / trophies
