my ears don't care about the musical instrumentation at all. The voice is all I cared for in my parents' living room 50 years ago and it's all I care about today. Thanks for the upload and the chance to dust off cobwebs that have lingered from when my folks bought this album.
Terve! Samoin minä, jouduin Connien äänen lumoihin jo 67 vuotta sitten ja lumo jatkuu yhä. Tästä albumista on kaksi versiota!
and thanks to me they were able to master the original orchestrations lp on the 5CD 2ND BOX because the SESSION TAPES AND THE ALBUM MASTER was lost and still is. Thank you Bear family again.
HERMOSA .POR SIEMPRE ÚNICA DULCE CONNIE FRANCIS😗
Smooth as always!
Happy May Day 🎈🌿🥂☀️
Hi Kevin 🎈
Both versions are interesting.
Connie's voice field 🎙worked and sounded so effortlessly and clearly with both orchestras.
So I liked both arrangements🎼❤❤
Thanks Kevin.🎼🌹🍷
Happy May day to you, Telle. Connie's vocal is the same in both versions. The only thing that changed was the orchestration. Don Costa and orchestra recorded the new playbacks and Connie's original vocal was added. I guess when they make a recording the singer's voice is on a track of it's own.

Thanks Kevin, now I see❗
The Australian New Zealand Orchestration was used here in Brazil, during the vinyl era.
When the CD arrived, they used the second orchestration.
wrong..this original playback was issued ONLY in Australia and New Zealand in mono and stereo. i found the stereo Australian and sent it in for Bear Family to master because they could not find the session or album masters just before the 1960's box set Jan 1960-April 1962. ALL OTHER RELEASES OF THIS ALBUM ARE SUPERIOR AND FEATURE THE RE-RECORDED PLAYBACK FROM MARCH/APRIL 1963.
