This whole discussion about too many games. Clubs saw this coming. The bulk of the wealth and control of the game is in the hands of UEFA and FIFA.
The SuperLeague was going to correct that.
FIFA and UEFA shit themselves and told idiots, because they are idiots, that the clubs were stealing the beautiful game. It was never a closed shop. It was still open for discussion, it was just moving the power to the clubs and the players and away from these criminals who introduce things like VAR to control outcomes.
Look at the UCL this season. One big "league". It's not a single league if you only play a section of it. It's a joke.
Fans think they are heroes for preventing a SuperLeague. This is the shit you wanted.
