Team sounds great! One thing I noticed is that Steel types have a good matchup into your whole team basically, if there's a Fire, Fighting, or Ground Cobblemon you like I'd reccomend adding that for type coverage, or just have your team carry those types of moves. It'll come in handy against Virt especially. The build looks awesome and the team's great!
Thanks! Yeah, I was hoping I could have Merlina learn mystical fire but then I saw it's a breeding move, so I guess that idea to go up against Virt is out the window. I shall look for another fire type pokemon or move to have on my team.
@@CallieBuilds Bewear is a fighting-type that fits your caring character (to a fault, read the dex entries), and Ninetales fits in with the mystical vibes.
13:30 looks like I was a bit early to give you tips and tricks, but hatterene's better ability is magic bounce but you can keep it healer as it fits in more and ye I already gave you all my tips but I could give you a hatterene build with EVs and item
I've seen a few of you mention that magic bounce is the better ability so I can see what I can do about making some ability capsules and seeing if I can switch it to that one.
As i was watching the video i kept writing more. I have a build for your Hatterene you will need a ability capsule but if you do not have one you can use the second ability. I will love this Idea of being a wizard trainer. Minerva (From harry potter) for the Hatterene. You will want manly Hp an defense. its base speed stat is 29 so it will be out sped anyway so no speed evs. Hatterene (F) @ Leftovers Ability: Magic Bounce Second - Healer EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA Modest Nature - Calm Mind-----------Raises the user's Sp. Atk and Sp. Def by 1. - Life Dew-------------- heals both of your pokemon on the field - Dazzling Gleam--- Hits adjacent foes. both pokemon on the opponents team - Psychic---------------- 10% chance to lower the target's Sp. Def by 1,
We do have a way to make ability capsules so I could look into how to do that. And thank you for highlighting the EVS I should train Merlina with. I appreciate it immensely!
Your team seems pretty slow, potentially running trick room (a move that makes slower pokemon go first) might be a good idea! And the double battle for the gym is a great idea, makes great use of heal pulse to heal your partners!
I appreciate the tip. I think the only trick room available Pokémon in Cobblemon is porygon but maybe I’ll need to add a faster Pokémon into the mix too!
Porygon is a solid option, and if/when TMs are introduced into the mod, it will add a few more great options (slowking and slowbro to name a couple). Lucario could be a solid choice for a faster option, it does get heal pulse!
If you're going a bulkier, high hp team, you should have someone that can set up toxic spikes. Toxpiex is really nice, and also there's a lot of irl toxins that are researched for medicine so it could work thematically too.
Gyrla, Morgana, Tasha. Couldn’t think of good guy names but all are female and magic Ok so I looked up female mages from folklore and like all of them are bad guys except maybe Hecate
For mirlena i was thinking of maybe like Morgana Le Fey from Arthurian legends idk but she is evil lol but every witch has a darkside. and for Sentret i was thinking peppermint because its evolution looks like a candy cane lol
