I was put into seperate math classes with other students who had the same problem, even up until grade 12 i still really didn’t understand it. I am 23 now and my goal is to be a plumber so I came to this video trying to understand basic fractions and its so much easier. It’s actually kind of fun now it makes sense

I hardly knew fractions for years because my family moved so much, I didn't get fractions in school and didn't use them in my life for many years, But now, I need them for all the sewing I do. I was way ahead of you on the pauses to figure out the fraction. So I surprised myself how fast I caught-on. But that's because I have such a good teacher.
Mr Parker, I'm curious on why can't we just divide the numerator by denominator when converting improper fractions to mix fractions? It's quicker that way. Thank you!

Hi, there's often more than one way to do a problem, so if you have a method that's getting you the right answer, then go for it!
