I agree with all the positive comments. The format is so accessible, easy to follow, and doing these mobility focused routines makes staying mobile a breeze.
Great flow for feel good these work out has straightened out my irritation in my syatic nerve and glutes strain thanks Julia for your commitment to mobility and flexibility training u have helped me out a lot this challenge is fantastic work out thumbs up keep up the great work see you tomorrow
Another awesome morning wake up! I snapped, crackled, and popped my way through. 😆 The Kang Squat is new to me, and felt so good! The forearm occlusion was a shocker, how did you know I needed that? Danke, Julia.
Sounds like you enjoyed it! 😇 Kang squats are pretty cool - a combo of the good morning and bodyweight squat so they combine the hip hinge movement pattern with the squat movement pattern. And the forearm occlusion is a game changer for handstands, oly lifting & anything that‘s taxing on the wrists. :)
Wow that last exercise was so goooood I felt is so nicely in my upper back and sides, opened my hips to the front. I'd never seen it before today, thanks Julia!
Currently recovering from a bad Pneumonia with a hospital stay and so thankful to have stumbled upon those short routines! Incorporating them into my recovery as I started this week and they sure be working small wonders. Thanks for that!:)
I am so grateful that I found your channel when I was almost convinced you can’t be both very mobile and flowy and very strong at the same time. Your vibe is immaculate! 🤎
Julia, you are pure awesomeness wrapped in spandex! Thanks for charging and oiling my engine each morning 🙏 Warming up in the gym before hitting the weights has become so much smoother since I started following your mobility flows. Love and good karma 💪
Hey Devin - great question! It‘s restricting the blood flow for a short amount of time (opening/closing the fist will intensify this - it‘s safe ofc). So once you remove the occlusion there will be an increased blood flow towards the surrounding muscles of the wrist which therefore increases nutrient & oxygen flow too! :) I love this for handstands too as it‘s a great prep for the wrists.
I can't believe that with today we're over halfway through the amazing #OER challenge. So much fun to awaken my body with this feel-good routine 💖 have a wonderful week beautiful Julia
I have seen such great improvements with my squats and hip movement with your workouts (Kang squat was favorite this morning). These mobility exercises have been a game changer for me. Thank you so much for sharing your channel.
ok so I blew it on the challenge last month but am now going back and hitting them all. Wow this one was a butt kicker! Love your videos with multiple levels - each round I try to do one more. Or die trying lol. Monday morning let's go!!!
Maybe see it this way: starting something and falling off is still something compared to not starting at all. 😊 Sometimes life gets in the way and that‘s ok! Let‘s get back up & try again ❤️
Hanne, occlusion is blood flow restriction, I’ve seen it in bicep work. You are forcing the muscles to work under reduced blood flow. I love how Julia comes up with new ways to train! (And how it felt for my knees, too. What a way to hit multiple areas in one go!)
That is in fact correct :) In bodybuilding it‘s used as a means for hypertrophy training (but not entirely supported by science). However it‘s helping to increase blood flow & therefore nutrient & oxygen flow to the surrounding muscles of the wrist/forearm. It does feel a little bit uncomfortable during the exercise ngl. Also I didn‘t come up with it myself ☺️ - seen it first from Morgan Rose Moroney for a handstand warm up. Great exercise for handstands and oly lifting!
Hey Maria 🤗 It‘s restricting the blood flow for a short amount of time (opening/closing the fist will intensify this). So once you remove the occlusion there will be an increased blood flow towards the surrounding muscles of the wrist which therefore increases nutrient & oxygen flow too! :)
week 2 let's go! 🔥I actually did every single video last week, the first time I am following a challenge. 😂 you make it so easy because it's fun!!
I am SO PROUD 😎 you‘re smashing it Haruhi!!

To think that just a few months ago I struggled with the plank + toe touches and now I’m on week !! 15 !! of 💯 burpees every Wednesday.
Wow that last exercise was so goooood I felt is so nicely in my upper back and sides, opened my hips to the front. I'd never seen it before today, thanks Julia!
my pleasure 😍

What a compliment 🥰 Well Anca, I‘m happy you found your way here!!
Amazing routine!! This might be one of my favourites to date, so easy to squeeze in an extra 10 min of mobility during the day.
Rob that’s amazing 😎🔥
I’m definitely going to enjoy my day knowing that I’m finally building my morning routin and not skipping.
Thanks Julia a ton for helping me ❤
I am so proud & happy for you!!! 😍
Day 1-8 DONE! Learned some helpful things like adding the push up to pigeon and touching toes during down-dog. Plenty to work on! THANKS

Happy 2023 Julia!!!! Much love from this Americano 🇺🇲 in Brazil 🇧🇷. I'm looking forward to many workouts with you this year.
Happy 2023 to you too 🥳 Let‘s make this a year of movement 🤸🏼♀️
Another great one. Can you explain a bit about the arm occlusion exercise? I'm not quite sure what the goal should be.
Round 3+. Thanks, Julia.

Doing this at night as well is pretty nice! I wish you have an app with longer workoutsss. (And if you’ll get one, I hope it’s the Playbook app haha)
Haha 😝 This would be a dream! 😍 Takes a lot of time to set up but it‘s one of my goals not gonna lie 😋.
Thank you for another routine! Question: What do the forearm occlusions do? And how do I know I am doing it right? Have never seen those before! :)
Hanne, occlusion is blood flow restriction, I’ve seen it in bicep work. You are forcing the muscles to work under reduced blood flow. I love how Julia comes up with new ways to train! (And how it felt for my knees, too. What a way to hit multiple areas in one go!)

YAY 😍🤟🏼💯
👍Great! Thx!
You‘re welcome Andy! 😇
So good! The forearm occlusion was new to me. Does anyone know the purpose or benefits of that move?
Hey Maria 🤗 It‘s restricting the blood flow for a short amount of time (opening/closing the fist will intensify this). So once you remove the occlusion there will be an increased blood flow towards the surrounding muscles of the wrist which therefore increases nutrient & oxygen flow too! :)
I appreciate your thoughtful response@@julia.reppel

Can you lose weight with mobility exercises?
not the intended purpose of mobility but you can loose weight with any type of exercise as long as you‘re in a caloric deficit 😊
There’s so much room on the screen. So much room for bigger letters🤓
Naaa that would look a bit too crowded :) There‘s already so much going on. But yes if you‘re watching e.g. on a phone that could be an issue.
