They really be doing the PSG dirty. If the PSG harmonized the song instead of copying notes from other instruments, it would be completely better.

Considering the original lead in the Masa demo was a muted trumpet, I laugh everytime I hear the Genesis version.

Maybe the European version. I remember it at this speed. And when Sonic got the red shoe, the music played faster (the normal speed in Japan and the US, I guess ?). I was disappointed not to see that when I watched playthroughs out of nostalgia.
