Understanding Dynamic Nerfing & Game Balance // This goes for all of our videos. You may realize that sometimes the 1 immortal or radiant has more money, shields, etc. Or the enemies have light shields, reduced economy, etc. This is why most of our videos are close matches. They are balanced to the teeth. This means rule-sets are set in place to create fair gameplay for everyone involved. Sometimes we do this "dynamically". For example: Maybe a low ranked team would start with pistol only, then get a specter and light shield. After switching sides they maybe can full buy, etc, etc. This gives a sense of suspense to the video as the opposing team would slowly face an increasing challenge!

100% gold, aim isn't all about rank. Gameplay is important, there are a lot of bronze players that have high hs% but still suck ass
valorant sherif is easy to use and he op not like deagle on cs anyone can use that gun

Although I get was he is saying with having different maps I do believe that changed the outcomes by so much. Due to Haven being so big it makes getting solo fights so much easier. Which is why if we really want to compare ranks maps truly matter by a long shot.
Agreed, especially when some maps have way too many angles to check and some maps are bigger like breeze (which I think would benefit higher rank players)

@@bigEcheese101Maybe not even the same map, honestly just maps with 2 sites was pretty consistent across the board. The main thing I noticed was haven has 3 sites, which means the defence is naturally more spread out - Maybe not in higher ranked games, but especially in bronze and below (as far as I remember) there's a mentality of having to be on-site at the start of a defense round, and you can see that in play here.
So if you have a map with 3 sites, that's going to spread out the defence more than 2 sites - and considering the solo doesn't have to worry about that factor, it means the bronzes were at a higher disadvantage whenever haven came up, even after the long-angle factor

By same map I just meant more specific how haven’t is 3 sites and it allows for much more solo fights leading to a disadvantage to the lower elo players. Playing smart with marshal against 5 bronze with no shields vs playing to rank up is different maybe he deserves better rank but you can't decide it through this match

The gold using the marshal was a good stretch of rules but i feel like i would’ve seen more phantom being played since its more accurate and shoots faster than vandal, plus has the 1 shot heady

the phantom is 2 shot headshot far range and is less accurate lol
@@goxlr the enemies have no armor so the phantom is a one shot headshot at any range, and the phantom is 0.05 more accurate with the first shot compared to the vandal, paired with less recoil

Also worth to mention, the bronze team should change entirely with every rank. The first match the bronze team plays will be tougher for them because they are getting used to play together and getting used to play against only one player, as they play more and more they gain more advantage against a diamond compared to the gold, silver and iron. And when they play against the radiant they have more strats to hold sites, or for the attack. That’s why we see so much difference between how many rounds each rank accomplished, also the fact some maps are easier for solo vs 5, but you already mentioned it
Imagine the cost of gathering 40 subscribing bronze players and checking if they are not smurfing.
Seeing as they did not learn to double peek and etc. its not worth the effort. Its not a science experiment.

Since you begin with low ranks and go higher ranks each match having the same team throughout all matches actually helps to balance the challenge. 5 bronzes should be inexperienced when fighting against an Iron, but well trained when fighting against a radiant. Otherwise it just gets really one-sided on higher ranks.
Me personally? If I was the iron or silver I would have just bought a judge or a Odin with like yoru and just camp an angle 🗿
I didnt as the silver as TYPICALLY my aims decent but just the pressure of stream. At the time I had a 45% hs but still wiffed everything lmao

Without counting ardie had at least half his entire team total kills throughout that kinda distribution means only one thing bro is not bronze
The bronze players started to comm a bit more into each game and made sure to work as a team. They did really well against someone with guns / full util + a higher rank, you definitely made them adapt very quickly and even gave them practice with their sheriffs too. This is gonna help them sm in the long run

Wish people would use more Agents over just Reyna, sure she is the best for that kind of challenge, but seeing other Agents more often would be more interesting, fun and duh even bigger challenge.
I mean three lost this time even as a Reyna with 1000 plus hours so I don't think him playing an agent he isn't good with would help
They mostly play Reyna cuz her util is best for challenges like this. She can heal off two kills, blinds, and her ult makes aces the easiest possible. She doesn’t have to worry much bout smokes or mollies
Yep i am aware of that and even said she is best option, but seeing Reyna over and over again makes it somewhat boring(for me at least), she is an easy choice to go for, and i would like for people to be more creative with their choices, even so video is fun even if just seeing Reyna over and over again made it somewhat boring for me.

My valorant journey start from iron, now I am a gold player honestly, based on this video I conclude that plat vs gold has quite difference in game mechanics.. in gameplay I don't really know and more rank get more logical on the decision, unfortunately this is 5v1 and bronze player doesn't really think which means illogical.. I personally never did and don't even know difference of baiting and trading.. we all just baited each other to win.

Bro a tip for you is don't reload that much like you reloaded just after getting 1 kill you should probably reload when ouut of ammo or you know that there is no one pushing you if you get what I mean just don't reload if you have over 15 ammo. Keep up the good work bro

Reyna tip: Don’t put reyna eyes is the middle of their screens because it’s easier to shoot you off of it, so put them on the floor or very high so they have to move their crosshair very low or very high instead of not needing to move it at all!

Im not sure the iron was smurphing. Especially if he's a kid. Kids watch TH-cam and Twitch - meaning they are learning tips and tricks from much better players. He didn't have perfect execution, but he was copying common strats you'd see from higher ranks. The theory was all there, it just didn't pay because they are strats still not experience
