Canary Islands! Fuerteventura Island! Excursion to the dunes of Corralejo.

December 3, 2022 - Our cruise ship Norwegian Sun from NCL arrives on the island of Fuerteventura, which is part of the Canary Islands.
We purchased a Corralejo Dunes Tour. We already knew this wonderful place and wanted to visit it again. In this part of the island there is a very large area of desert dunes, visible from the satellite. The strong winds blowing on this island bring sand from the Sahara, located only 120 km from the island.
We had a great day walking the dunes enjoying the ocean view on this hot day. After a picnic, we rested on the beach in a stone shelter against the wind.
When the bus brought us back, we went for a walk along the embankment and the town beach.
