I have a 110g container pond, next spring i am building an actual koi pond.. my container pond has the small fountain feature attached to the filter, lots of water lettuces and hyacinths.. i noticed my fish at night started coming to the top for air. Thats when i learned via Google plants USE oxygen at night.. i immediately went and got a pump and air stone!
