I wish we could restore the grandeur, comfort, safety, and luxury of flying. Look at the actual history of passenger flights, you will be surprised at how luxurious it used to be.

Back in the 1950s there were planes for passenger flights that included multiple levels including a functional bar room level as well as had individual sleeping areas for longer flights. They also used real plates, silverware, crystal glasses, and served real food. YET, that level of luxury wasn't limited to just the "creme de la creme" of society. Sure still limited to middle class or higher, but that is still better than nowadays.

Not saying it has to be full-blown suits and whatnot, but come on I don't want to see your undergarments or smell your unwashed gross body odor or smell your disgusting cheap tobacco/weed. Be relatively freshly showered, wear clean not raggedy clothing, properly cover your rear end, and overall other basic decency.
The only thing missing is how TSA treats you like a criminal (even little old ladies) and radiates you a billion times. It’s really unconstitutional, but the common people still put up with it. I don’t know if I ever want to fly again. Flying used to be fun. 😢😢😢
United canceled my nonstop flight when I was in TSA a couple weeks ago. I was at the gate trying to find out why the screen said an entirely different city. A 3 hour flight turned into an entire day... Never got any explanation why. It was the only flight canceled in the airport.
2022- Spirit Airlines 🛩 cancel my return flight- BNA to MCO in the early morning hours: 200am to 400am central ⏰️ then refused to refund my ticket, re-schedule my flight. I lost around $800/work on 3 schedule shifts. Thanks Spirit! 😡

Deregulation of the airlines is the worst thing that ever happened. Second worst was giving a credit card to anybody that fills in the application.
