Hi Lauren! Yes to the haunted ghost tours! I've never been to one ...always see ads for it 🫣🤔 Love your energy & thanks for keeping us RVA updated! I've been here for a decade and still can't keep up 🫠😆
As always, I like decorating and house tours. And classy costumes - as in Eastern European folk costumes, or how about 20's style in the Vintage shops. You really nailed it on this one! I have seen a lot of decorating shows, but not one with as much ENERGY !!! That is what you get when you have 2 people and dialogue. I didn't even fall asleep on the shopping trip! I have a morbid fascination with what other people choose to buy. It reveals their personality. And it is a good thing we don't all like the same things, because I would be upset if somebody else had the exact same things in their house that I have in mine. I was kind of nervous about seeing new decorations in an old house. That takes some kind of talent to pull that one off, but you did it -- and it looks really classy! Showing the process of decorating adds a lot of energy, too. Great job! .
@@bluebird8224 thank you so much for watching! And for the compliments! I’m so excited to keep adding to the collection as well. I’m thinking we can wear our gatsby clothes for Halloween parties if needed too! I’ve got more shopping hauls coming too. 😍💚
I literally seen your sushi and wanted to request that you show us how to make it but I was like this is not a cooking channel lol then magically you say to comment down below if you wanna see a tutorial on how to make it….And here I am. I would like to know how to make that sushi, it looks so good! lol
Here's an idea --- Decorating a table for two. Wouldn't that be so fun? Since you like to cook, and it looks so yummy, look at all the ways you could have fun with that. The table settings at the beginning of the video were awesome ! It is hard to find just two plates for a table setting at the thrift. If there is a set, you have to buy the whole set usually. New plates are nice, too. I used to find placemats several years ago, but haven't seen any lately. Not many small tablecloths either. It is a good thing I collected them when they were out there. I love linens. The centerpiece is a no-brainer. I save a few maple syrup jars and hot sauce jars if I have to take a flower to someone. You could collect two plates for each month. But since you are going to put food on them, you have to think about how that would look. Fine English bone china looks good on a long white table cloth for Thanksgiving, but Chinese food on top of Blue Willow might clash. Just an idea! Don't forget the chop sticks - at Kroger. .
It was great to be able to step into your world as you both prepare for the upcoming exciting Fall season! Loved Lucas’s little baby skeleton - too funny (got a good chuckle)! My wife loves that soap too - I can vouch that it totally hangs around and smells soooo good! Also, great to see someone else who watches movies with closed captioning on. For us, that is a “must” because I sometimes can’t understand (or hear) what is being said (some hearing loss - military). It’s so helpful! Anyway, Vlogtober is starting off great!! Looking forward to the rest of the month! You’re going to be really busy - tired for you just thinking about it! 💤 🤣😂🎃
@@hooforce haha yes!! We are those people who always have closed captioning on! The skeleton totally makes the room, so glad we got it! Thanks for watching! Yes tons of effort but tons of fun! 😜🎃🍁
Know what would be the best fall candle scent? A leather candle 😍 yankee candle made one that smells exactly like the one I stole from heather all those years ago 😂
A great start to a new month. A lot of great choices for decorations. Specially like that pumpkin three tree. Was it all from Target? Great Video Lauren ! All the best.🎃🎃 Jim and Harriet Richmond, Va.
hello Lauren, I just joined your channel after watching one of your videos about the city since I have been trying to find content that gives details on the city in general. I am considering relocating from Florida up to that area and the one thing I can say from some of your videos I've seen so far is that I don't see a whole lot of people in a lot of the areas you create your videos in. Is it just because of the time of day that you make the videos or is it just not a very populated city in general? Great energy and keep up the good work by the way!
@@MrDogStream I tend to film during the week when I know there’s low crowds for filming purposes. But in general I don’t find this city crowded at all. But I have lived in LA & NYC, so it may be about perspective. The people are out and about & love activities but to me it never feels claustrophobic or anything.
@@LaurenZRay sorry one more question, is there a lot of nature type activities nearby like hiking ,biking trails, mountains, etc. I'm thinking of coming up to visit some family in DC next week as well as to do some outdoor mountain activities as well as catching some fall leaves.
@@MrDogStream albemarle county has lots of hikes & Shenandoah. 1 hour to 1.5 hours from Richmond. Also in town hikes like North Bank Trail & Capital trail. Tons of trees & nature for it being a city. Great foliage in the city because of that. Check out my 5 reasons I moved to Richmond video for more info. And of course I’ll be vlogging every day in October, where I’ll be showing tons of RVA & Virginia content. ☺️
What would you like to see for Vlogtober?! 🎃🍁 Pumpkin patches, haunted tours, foliage, camping??
ADE? ☺️🤗
