I have the same problem with the summer. I can't go out other than to go to the office for ten hours but between late June and Mid August I lay low because the heat really bothers me and then I feel bummed about staying in so much. I remember when I was younger and lived in Bpt near the beach and loved the summertime, but now it is oppressive like you said.
I would love to see your votive craft!! ❤ I am thinking of starting an '80s perfume collection, at least those that remind me my childhood... I already started with toys. I am in a nostalgic mood, lately. Hugs from Italy! (it was sooo funny when you said we always start videos with the weather: it's true!! 😂😂😂)
Greetings, love and utmost respect from Romania! I got your book last year and it's been so insightful! I have a lot of books regarding magic and folk magic but yours I adore so much, not just because of the invaluable information it provides but because your writing style is just so beautifully comforting. It's like a friend is talking to me while we are cooking together and relaxing! Please, please, please, with a cherry on top, could you make a video about working specifically with saint Michael? He is my patron saint (not passed down from my family, it's more like a personal connection to him and how much I generally just adore him) and I am desperate to learn more about folk practices related to him. Altars, offerings, spellwork, even book recommendations if you know any good ones. Only, of course, if you are so inclined to make such a video, no pressure! Thank you for your book, for your beautiful channel and your brilliant personality! Much love from me! ❤
Oh I get you with the summer SAD. I abhor and detest the heat, I come from a tropical island and very much hated it. Like I am miserable in the summer and I hate sweating and feeling sticky. I am winter boy through and through, I only feel happiness then. I live in the southern US, so wish me luck. I hope the weather cools soon enough for us all! Blessings 💜
I don't even use thrifted modified things- I just use what is in the house, and as it is. And later I might cook our supper in the same pot, stir it with the same spoon..... always worked fine, as long as I take a minute or two to put intention into the tools before I use them for non-mundain purposes (for example by rinsing them or blessing them), and after it I clean it, in a "mindful way" . Always worked, is more sustainable, affordable, "invisible"and takes up less space, than if I had extra dedicated things.
Same here. Maybe modify is too strong a word. I temporarily repurpose things I already own unless the working can potentially damage the item. In that case, I'll pick up, say, a pot at thrift to use to burn things in.
@@MaryGraceFahrun for a moment I had a vision of a thrifted pot, painted in black acrylic, sprinkled with glued glitter, and goddess figurines and witch's moons attached to it..... but the next moment I thought, no. Not her. She's too Grace-ful to suggest such a thing.
More perfume videos!! Yay!!❤ Love the eyeshadow. Twas fun to hear more about you. That's cool you used to review makeup and perfume. And doesnt surprise! That's something I do miss..your reviews and choices on all the new decks. They just keep coming. Kudos to your strength🎉
@@MaryGraceFahrun My mother had a bottle of it when I was young, and I remember it had the most amazing smell. Long gone I guess now. Thanks for the reply.
Oh my god!!! 😂 I have the same feeling about the weather and it being hot and having SAD, or just a type of malaise in the summer because it's HOT! 🥵 haha that was funny.
Where can i find vintage Wild Musk by Cody? That was the only perfume my late mother ever wore and like you said, what they have at Walmart isn't the same! 🙏🏻
Nowadays, the only places to find vintage Coty Wild Musk is estate sales and evilBay. However, I am told that Coty Ex'cla-ma'tion Wild Musk sold in the UK is pretty close to the original vintage except it is a little fruity when you spray it on. Apparently it dries down to the original.
This was fun to learn more about you, and also relaxing to listen to while I did my dishes (as you suggested) 🫧🍽️💦 Ah, the "College Roommates" house esthetic... I have a bit of that, going on, too 😂 I am in the PNW and I think I have summer SAD, too, cause I can't bear the heat and sun. Had no idea this was a thing, and I also have SAD when it's grey 9 months out of the year. My weather relationship is complicated 😜 I would love to hear more about your candle approach, if you find time to record a video on that. I have been on a bit of a journey with candles and burnables. I, too, use tea lights primarily, or plain beeswax votives in a jar (and add herbs or resins on top, as needed). I have found a couple handmade/ small business candles that I adore and use sparingly. Thanks for sharing and chatting 😊
Yes please on the candle craft, Grace.

😱🤢 oh, NO! I can't with that stuff. You just perfectly described what I hate. 🤣
I'm new here and I love your channel ? Do you still work with Hekate ?
Hello and welcome! No, I have never had a relationship with Hekate nor any other gods of the ancient Greek pantheon. Thank you for asking. :)

Original Cody Wild Musk ✔️All in the Family✔️The new Wild musk is nothing like the original.
Do you have a perfume called Most Precious by the same company that makes White Shoulders?
Hi! No, I do not. I just have White Shoulders by Evyan and I have the atomizer by Elizabeth Arden when they were putting it out.

It may be just me, but I think the link for the spell doesn't work...
Thank you! I doubled up. 😆 Fixed it. 😁 Love you! 🤗🥰
Love you too! I'll try this one soon! 💛
