I’ve never seen Tom look so happy for that long, consistently.. know what I mean ? He was smiling from ear to ear throughout the entire interview . His cheeks probably b hurting today…mine are just by watching him lol. He never once stopped smiling. Adam, looking effin amazing as always, but also looked like he was gonna vomit. Lol. I just finished watching this. I missed it when it came out originally. That was a great interview. I’m an old guy, but like Tom, I came here from Canada, and the things that he spoke about regarding that, and his feelings about America, just made me realize that he and I have a lot in common. I love this country, and I loved it long before I came here, and it’s hard watching the way things are going down right now. I got behind DJT the minute he announced he was running, not because he was Republican, but because he wasn’t a politician, and growing up seeing him being interviewed throughout my life, I always agreed with him on his conclusions, whatever topic they were talking about. I found these guys about 4 weeks ago. I've since picked up all of Tom's solo albums and some of the collabs, including The Brave, and that's all I've been listening to. My wife and 17 yr old son are just as hooked as I am. His message is beautiful and powerful, and incredibly inspiring. Together with Adam, Nova and Tom are opening people's eyes to the true darkness in the world and courageously shining a light on it, for all to see. Remember, it's Us against them, not You against Me. Thanks Tom, Adam, Nova, and the whole Hang Over Gang. Love Y'all!
I found him in January of 2021 and I tell ya, his fan base, aka his "fam", is amazing...if you have any questions about him or his music we're always here to help. Thanks to Tom I've liked rap music for the first time in my life (I'm 46)...I got my family hooked on his music & I haven't listened to any "mainstream" artists since I found him, only independent artists for the past year...You should check out Burden & Samson...they are also patriotic independent artists.

I look forward to a new song and video almost every two weeks. I barely listen to anything else because the content and messages are the same as every other artist and it's all trash. The message and content matters. It effects the way people think, this has been proven time and time again in psychology. The shine hasn't worn off in 4 years, it's stronger than ever. And a couple million+ feel the same way. Just my take. It may have for you, or maybe you never got into him, and that's cool. He's not for everyone.

Most of us who have found Tom have gone through the same thing. I found him over a year ago. I hope you are also enjoying some of his non-political music. I’m a 66 year old conservative woman who has never in my life listened to or appreciated rap, and Tom has taught me to appreciate the art and lyrical talent. I pretty much was addicted to listening to his songs AND all the reactors. I get so much moe insight from the reactors, especially ones like Flawdzilla. So happy you found him.
Tom and Adam hit the nail on the head with where society has failed. “The minority on both sides have the loudest voices.” and “We should be able to disagree and hey, you wanna go get something to eat”! This is by far one of the most down to earth interviews with a very clear perspective.
Best Dad advise Tom's Dad ever gave: " Hey Kid you got one job when you go to America Live up to your potential" Hell that's anywhere These guy's are great!
It's not really "anywhere". There are a lot of places on this earth where people can't live up to their potential. Thankfully America is one of the places where you CAN if you work for it. Don't misunderstand. I'm not saying America is the only place. Just that there are places in this world where Adam and Tom would be killed for living up to their potential. They speak against the mainstream narrative. In some places that's a crime punishable by death.
I'm a 50 yo white woman and have listened to rap since the late late 80's. I have to say, this collab is the best I've ever heard. Both of these men are good honest to goodness patriots (regardless that Tom is Canadian) Adam loves this country because he was born with the freedom that is inherent for ALL of America's citizens. Tom loves America because he understands how important freedom is. Freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and freedom of choice. How can it get any better than this?
It's interesting how Tom talks about how he was always fascinated with America and basically how the American spirit is so well advertised. Makes you wonder what's happened here and why so many of our own citizens don't feel that spirit or take any pride in being an American. Too many simply just appear to hate the USA. So sad and crazy at the same time. Much respect for both of them and the music they are sharing.
I think the biggest problem is children growing up with a cellphone in there hand with no monitoring an the television without being censored by an adult, and most of all taking God out of schools an discipline of the child, all the young parents want to be there child's best friend, a child needs a parent to teach them right from wrong an teach them respect!!!

I still don't understand why interviews don't prepare for this delay ahead of time (in case it happens, always default to interviewer, or something. 6 months ago I had never heard of Tom McDonald or Adam Calhoun. They are my favorite artist. And I don't listen to hip hop at all. The music is awesome and the content is spot on and eye opening. My 79yr old mom, my 67yr old hubby, my 16yr old daughter, and 12yr old son all like Tom and have just been intro’d to Adam. We all have our songs that we like together and the songs that speak to us individually. It’s rare to find an artist that can REALLY appeal to so many different types of people

Thank you Laura this is a wonderful interview with 2 great guys who love this country. I found tom music when the first Pandemic got started and became major fan of his music. I turned 45 in January and tom is in his 30s. As I learned more about tom through interviews like this I started to consider him like younger brother because he is not only a raw and honest musician but he great person my fiancee gets into his music as well. I’m an old guy, but like Tom, I came here from Canada, and the things that he spoke about regarding that, and his feelings about America, just made me realize that he and I have a lot in common. I found these guys about 4 weeks ago. I've since picked up all of Tom's solo albums and some of the collabs, including The Brave, and that's all I've been listening to. My wife and 17 yr old son are just as hooked as I am. His message is beautiful and powerful, and incredibly inspiring. Together with Adam, Nova and Tom are opening people's eyes to the true darkness in the world and courageously shining a light on it, for all to see. Remember, it's Us against them, not You against Me. Thanks Tom, Adam, Nova, and the whole Hang Over Gang. Love Y'all!
I found him in January of 2021 and I tell ya, his fan base, aka his "fam", is amazing...if you have any questions about him or his music we're always here to help. Thanks to Tom I've liked rap music for the first time in my life (I'm 46)...I got my family hooked on his music & I haven't listened to any "mainstream" artists since I found him, only independent artists for the past year...You should check out Burden & Samson...they are also patriotic independent artists.

Been listening to Tom since the Dear Rappers video (2018) which was the first viral video he had, and I'm still listening constantly. I look forward to a new song and video almost every two weeks. I barely listen to anything else because the content and messages are the same as every other artist and it's all trash. The message and content matters. It effects the way people think, this has been proven time and time again in psychology.
The shine hasn't worn off in 4 years, it's stronger than ever. And a couple million+ feel the same way. Just my take. It may have for you, or maybe you never got into him, and that's cool. He's not for everyone.
I've shared them with everyone , most are musicians, they all love it, One band is working on a cover.. and me and a few are working on Karaoke versions..
Most of us who have found Tom have gone through the same thing. I found him over a year ago. I hope you are also enjoying some of his non-political music. I’m a 66 year old conservative woman who has never in my life listened to or appreciated rap, and Tom has taught me to appreciate the art and lyrical talent. I'm a 50 yo white woman and have listened to rap since the late late 80's. I have to say, this collab is the best I've ever heard. Both of these men are good honest to goodness patriots (regardless that Tom is Canadian) Adam loves this country because he was born with the freedom that is inherent for ALL of America's citizens. Tom loves America because he understands how important freedom is. Freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and freedom of choice. How can it get any better than this?
It's interesting how Tom talks about how he was always fascinated with America and basically how the American spirit is so well advertised. Makes you wonder what's happened here and why so many of our own citizens don't feel that spirit or take any pride in being an American. Too many simply just appear to hate the USA. So sad and crazy at the same time.

My 79yr old mom, my 67yr old hubby, my 16yr old daughter, and 12yr old son all like Tom and have just been intro’d to Adam. We all have our songs that we like together and the songs that speak to us individually. It’s rare to find an artist that can REALLY appeal to so many different types of people

I found tom music when the first Pandemic got started and became major fan of his music.
I turned 45 in January and tom is in his 30s.
As I learned more about tom through interviews like this I started to consider him like younger brother because he is not only a raw and honest musician but he great person my fiancee gets into his music as well.

I love Tom and I’m getting more into Adams music (thanks to The Brave!) and I have to say. My views lean a little left, I never hate on someone for right leaning views. The message is clear. The system is broken and these guys are putting that message out there the best way they can. I respect them so much for it and find myself agreeing with everything they say. Especially Tom.
