She's on a small... Plateau? Sticking out of a bridge on the 3rd? Floor of the village she's managing supplies has purple plumage and is near a hot air balloon sorry if any of that is wrong but what ever you do don't look for her by the chain of bridges that leaves the village she is in the village for sure

If you're taking out a camp, pick up one of the cages and place it down over an archer bokoblin. They can't shoot through the cage. So once you take the camp out, pick the cage up and collect all the arrows he kept trying to shoot at you. Saves on shields.

For purchasing arrows: Once you have gotten the Yiga armor and have access to their hideout, one of the vendors in the main entrance hall sells 4 bundles of 10 for 35 rupees each (putting the arrow value at almost half of the price Beedle charges!), which I think is probably the best arrow for rupee exchange rate in the game. For amiibos: Both Toon Links, Revali and Sheik can drop arrows directly, while besides the 3 you mentioned with breakable stuff, Skyward Sword Link also has boxes that can contain arrows.
I am pretty sure you can get the same deal without needing any prerequisites at the Kara Kara Bazaar in the Gerudo Desert. So far that is the only place I have seen the bundles of 10 so I made a mental note of it.
Buying arrows from each shop was definitely improved from botw. Before if you were carrying around between 50 or 100+ arrows, every shop in hyrule would not restock on arrows until get below a certain amount of arrows. But in totk you can carry as many arrows as you want and every shop will keep restocking on arrows.
That’s what makes totk so great, they take damn near every single mechanic from BOTW and refined/perfected it. Hell by the end of BOTW I still wasn’t sold on making weapons break at all much less after a few hits. Now in TOTK I can’t imagine it any other way, I’m glad they break & force me to experiment with a new fuse combo
Just a quick bit of info for newer Lynel hunters: First mount allows you to hit 6 times and every other mount after that will be only 3 attacks before being tossed off
I just recently got to the point where Lynels don't scare the crap out of me when I see them, and now I enjoy fighting them... But what you did to those Lynels is on not just another level, but like another level I didn't know existed lol. That was amazing
Literally have needed arrows for the past 2 hours and just searched this now and this just launched 30 minutes ago! Literally perfect timing! You’re the best!
With the purchase route method, if you have the yiga armor, you can set a medallion at the yiga hideout instead of hateno. the vendor in the entrance sells 4 bundles of 10 arrows for 35 rupees each instead. additionally you can sleep in the bed at lookout landing to eliminate warp load times back to your house.
@@wanderinwolf3804 bundles of 10 arrows, not 5. Normal shops sell bundles of 5 for 20 rupees, so that would be 40 rupees for 10, while the yiga hideout is 35 rupees for 10. A better deal than normal shops, which are already a better deal than beedle.

Also, if you parry an arrow with a wooden shield the shield takes no damage and the arrow still gets stuck in it, so you can get infinite arrows with just one wooden shield if you get the parry timing down, i used this alot in BotW too
There is another way to get arrows. Once you have the sage of wind quest completed you can go to the Rito Village, in the area were the shrine was in BOTW there is a Rito woman who asks you to complete a quest in which she asks for 3 glowing cave fish and you get 10 arrows. Once that quest is done you can give her either 3 glowing cave fish, 5 glowing cave mushrooms or 3 Chillfin Trout and she will give you 10 arrows each time.
A good tip for those starting out or early on. The beginning sky island has a couple spots that are pretty good for finding a few arrows at a time. From the west shrine on it, go down towards the Temple of Time and you will find a level 1 soldier construct that uses a bow. Defeat him for 5 arrows. There are also loose arrows around him, probably around 5 or so. Then warp to the east shrine in that area, you'll need level 1 cold protection which you can get either from food, from an outfit piece on the sky island, or if you have made it to Rito village and bought any piece of the Snowquill outfit. Anyway, from the shrine, look west toward a plateau surrounded by ice walls and fly down to it. On that plateau are three construct archers. Each one has a high chance to drop 5 arrows and also ice fruit. And just like the other archer I mentioned, there are loose arrows around the little area near the plateau. Many of the proving ground shrines are useful for stocking up on arrows or other useful materials. The first time you enter one, the game will take your gear like the Eventide island did in BOTW and none of what you collect or leave behind can be kept. But after that, you can go right back in and are able to keep what you find or collect from the enemies. These are the shrines I found that had arrows (other than the two Austin mentioned):Rasitakiwak(10), Otak(10), Nouda(10), Kimayat(10), Mayachideg(10), Zakusu(5), Kamizun (10), and Miryotanog (5). As you can see, most of these shrines had 10 arrows, and the other two I mentioned had 5. The other proving grounds shrnes I did not list didn't have any, though they may have archers which can drop arrows). They may also have materials you want/need, such as fire fruit from trees or enemy drops, or lower tier construct horns for outfit upgrades. Another decent place to find arrows without much effort is Hyrule castle. There are several places such as the balcony of the observation room which can spawn arrows. Most of the spawns seem to be 10 iirc). Some of them are on the floating part of the castle though, but if you manage to get up to it, there's some more arrow spawns and once you get up once, there is a shrine up there to help get back. Also good weapons up there, as well as a couple outfit pieces.
“You keep asking for arrow farming, but I don’t know why you keep running out of arrows. Break the boxes.” - Past Austin during I believe the Soldier and Royal Guard outfits video
If you have the Yiga armor you can go into the yiga hideout. They sell 4 stacks of 10 arrows for 35 rupies per stack for a total of 40 arrows for 140 rupies.
Honestly, breaking boxes constantly pretty much solved all my arrow issues past the intro island. I was fully prepared to do some farming or glitching for them and I never really found the need after a few hours of being thorough about it, and I feel I use them fairly often. I outright abuse bomb arrows, hah. I still buy them whenever I come across shops because I'm a little loot goblin that must have more, though. Still, great video to help those that need it!
After you commented on it before, I did not expect you to do an arrow farming video! I will keep the tips in mind to keep me from continuing to not run out arrows!
If you don't want to damage your weapons on boxes, you can lift them up as high as you can with Ultrahand and drop them. This is most likely break them with gravity.
You can also do the fireplace rest (save / load) trick to force stores to replenish all of their stock. All you need to do is buy the shops arrows, make a campfire, rest, after you wake up hit save, then finally reload that save. After reloading the save, everything respawns. I mainly used this method to purchase large crystalized charges without having to fast travel or hunt down the refineries I've yet to unlock. As long as you have wood and flint, wood and a fire weapon, ect.. You're good to go.
My favorite way to break boxes without lowering weapon durability is to fuse two together, side by side, then ultrahand them into the air and drop them on the other boxes. Might take two drops but that usually breaks them.
One interesting change from BoTW with arrows hoarding is that in BoTW, if you had more than certain number of arrows, stores/Beedle would never restock no matter what you try, and this was applicable for all types of arrows. In ToTK, I’m able to have over 500 arrows and yet every store/merchant is restocking it.
One of the things I had problems reconciling early game is: What can I sell / fuse, and what do I need to hold on to, to be able to 4 star all armor late game. It would be a neat video to know exactly what materials are truly dispensable and able to be traded in for cash to do things like buying arrows. Perfect example, in BoTW, you needed to retain monster parts to open up all the different masks and things that Kilton would trade. But in ToTK, monster parts (as a majority) have no value. So it's easy to cash in on teeth and what not instead of trying to retain everything only to regret later end-game. I hope you like this suggestion and it helps future players reach their full potential and not struggle as much.
During the beginning of my playthrough, whenever I needed an axe, I always fast traveled to that exact first location shown in the video. It's a great spot to pickup 2 axes instead of hunting for the right axe stones.
Haven't had to worry about arrows in ages. When I go around the depths smashing camps for zonite I smash the boxes too as he suggested. I use bows constantly but just a couple boxes and a couple archers gets you plenty during a zonite run.
I've never run out of arrows, but the other day I dropped below like 20 and im normally over 100. So this helps. I feel better using arrows knowing I wont run out.
Another great way, if you have plenty of rupees and/or use the dupe glitch on diamonds, is to go to the Riverside Stable in southeast Hyrule Field and buy from Beedle there repeatedly. Beedle spawns really close to the cooking pot at that one stable, and his inventory resets every in-game day. So in just roughly 30 sec loops, you can run over to him, buy out his 30 arrows, run back to the cooking pot, wait til morning, and repeat. You can also build a small shelter over the cooking pot to stop rain from putting the fire out, and your built things won't despawn when waiting time this way.
If you're very much a forager/gatherer like me, Bedoli in Rito Village trades three Glowing Cave Fish, three Chillfin Trouts, or five Brightcaps, for 10 arrows. I always collect everything so I got a good amount of arrows from her.
Ive been using my bows&arrows a ton but i hit max and still do. Just loot archers amd break boxes and barrels woth ultra hand. You'll hit it eventually!
Zelda content is awesome thank you for all the help. However, I am really looking forward to your next arceus style pokemon run-through. You helped me a lot with that game
If anyone needs the CHAMPIONS LEATHERS go to the place you battle phantom ganon on the second floor of that room there are to campfires light them on fire then something will move and it’s right in there
How surreal is it that your doing tutorial videos on Tears of the Kingdom. All these years we’ve played Breath of the Wild and wanted and prayed for a sequel and here it is. Such an amazing game, highly anticipated and it’s actually here and we are doing it. Next year all of this will be old news but we will look back fondly on all the newness and excitement of this game. I guess the moral is just slow down and enjoy the moment. There’s only one first play through enjoy it.
Could you do a video of how to get the paraglided fabrics that’s not amibo? Like the gleeok fabric or the chuchu fabric and yiga fabric? Please? Pretty please?
I was just asking myself this yesterday since I was always so low on arrows recently. What I found out is arrows at markets are cheaper then the guy(s) who walk(s) around and sells items. The travelers sell for 30 per 5 stack of arrows while the shops sell for 20 a piece. If you're trying save gems or get as much as you can for how many gems you haveits worth fast traveling between town to town shop for arrows. Also it seems shops always refresh when you travel away and back to. Couldbe wrong haven't tested much. Just noticed it when I was trying to buy sets I didn't have and saw the places I had recently bought arrows from had already had restocked. Was also great to stock up on hylian wheat for thw town rebuild quest Note for the breaking boxes. You don't need to swing/use an weapon and waste weapon durability. Just use your stasis, lift the box (metal and wood) or barrels and release. They'll fall and break open. It's tedious but sometimes you just don't want to waste your certain precious weapons on these breakables
Can't believe that people needed this video. Damn people running through the game as fast as possible, without taking the time to break boxes or barrels or actually look for stuff, I suppose? Anyone who took their time will have an maxed out arrow count before all 4 regional phenomenoms are done.
Got to thank you for your lynel killing stragey with the royal guard claymore+ Molduga jaw. Makes farming them a breeze and they drop loads of arrows too
Again with perfect timing. I was just thinking this as I'm using the new dupe method and I've actually almost hit less than 100 arrows for the first time since I got above it
Not 100% sure but I think those boxes in the wind temple have an increased chance of dropping bigger bundles, I swear those drop the 5 and 10 stacks way more often
I'm so glad they removed the artificial arrow shortage. I used the Eventide Island reloading glitch all the time in BotW because I had the money but stores didn't have the arrows. Oh btw the Yiga Hideout has two bundles of 10 arrows I believe? I think they sell for 35 rupees.
If you dont want to use durability, pick the boxes up with Ultrahand, bring them up as high as you can and drop them. Sometimes it takes a couple drops
I really like your videos. Since almost all vids that I see about TOTK right now are about duping and not updating to the latest version, it's nice to see someone legitly playing the game. Hehe
Also, fair to mention if you take that 5 shot down to -160 altitude at Tobio's hollow and shoot some items with it into the air above the ridge above you, you can spend one item and get 4 back as much as you want.
The shrine respawn thing also goes for rockets, except they continuously respawn (at least as long as the shrine is incomplete, I haven't checked if it works after) go and make as many rocket shields as you can, it's so worth it.
Tip for the boxes: You do not need any weapon to break them open. Just raise the box with ultra hand and drop it, you can even aim for another box to break both. That way you don’t risk damaging a weapon. I know that zonai devices do not damage but I can not find any info confirming boxes will never damage weapons. Weirdly I’ve seen so many TH-camrs mention the importance of the boxes yet not one mentioned the ultra hand trick.
Austin mentioned my strategy right at the beginning. I've heard people complain that they're always out of arrows, and when you mention that the wooden crates have arrows in them these people are like "WHAAAT???!!" I've never had a shortage of arrows. between buying them at stores, and breaking crates, you shouldn't even need to actually farm them.
I love having the cape on the evil spirit armor. The whole set looks great, I just wish it had a better perk than stealth up. Even better, but highly unlikely to happen, i would love a transmog syatem in TotK.
To get the korok mask you need to go to the RAMOBNUKAS lightroot which is under the korok forest. When you get there you will see a mighty banana trail follow that to the coliseum. There will be a hinox you will need to kill.
if anyone's iffy about fighting lynels or learning how to fight them, trust me when I say, it's worth it. I am already at 999 arrows glitchless just from farming them. In addition to arrows, they also drop some of the best fuse materials in the game, the best bows in the game AND energy for tank upgrades if you kill the ones in the depths
Before I started playing the game I requested this video. Now that I'm playing the game, I have 400+ arrows just from playing the game. I think they saw us exploiting the first game and said "ehh let's just give them more." I try to throw bombs rather than attach to arrows whenever I can, and I usually break boxes and jars, and I scan some amiibos once in a while, other than that I haven't used any methods to farm more than what I've gotten naturally from playing the game and buying from Beedle when I see him or when I visit Tarrey Town. And I use my bow a lot. You honestly shouldn't have problems with arrows in this game in my experience.
You can place a travel medallion right at the bed at Links old house in Hateno and another right at the arrows in Lookout landing. Pick up 25 arrows, back to sleep, back for 25, repeat. It takes roughly 1min 30sec per trip. From zero, that's 999 arrows in 60 min for 4,000 rupees. Not bad.
Just buy all the arrows at the Lookout Landing shop, run down to the fire in the shelter and rest, teleport to Lookout Landing Skyview Tower, run to shop and they are restocked! You can also place a Travel Medallion right in front of the arrows and teleport there instead after resting.
One my first play through, my first temple was the water one and I ran out of arrows. So, I did the boss fight with only sidon’s shield and throwing splash fruit and chu chu jelly.
Because I don’t see it mentioned I figured I would say that for wooden boxes instead of wasting weapon durability on breaking them just use ultra hand lift them all the way up and just drop them
Finding a good spot to farm Gibdos is also a good way to farm arrows. AFAIK every Gibdo has one arrow stuck in it. If you use your allies to kill them then you also get gibdo bones etch make a good damaging fuse items as well.

If you infiltrate the yiga hideout, the archer vendor there sells bundles of 10 arrows for 35 each.
Haven't had to worry about arrows in ages. When I go around the depths smashing camps for zonite I smash the boxes too as he suggested. I use bows constantly but just a couple boxes and a couple archers gets you plenty during a zonite run.
Everyone else: *watching to learn how to farm arrows*
Me: *studying the layout of Austin's Tarrey house for architecture ideas*
Can't wait for this to get over 8 million views! Keep up the good work, Austin.
I've never run out of arrows, but the other day I dropped below like 20 and im normally over 100. So this helps. I feel better using arrows knowing I wont run out.
Thanks! Saved me after finally running dry right after sefeating the first sludge monster at zoras domain. Straight to the wind temple. Whew!!
In case nobody has mentioned, there are 10 arrows at the beginning of Gasas Shrine.
Thanks!
What is crazy, that little advice of breaking every wooden box is the best advice. I have close to 400 and I use arrows regularly.
For shops selling arrows, as editing Austin said, lookout landing does 5 at once, but if you go to Goron City, they sell 4 bundles, same pricing
Oh yes I’ve needed this one, keep up the great work Austin 💯
THANK GOD! Was just asking myself if Austin John would please make a video on how to get arrows. We're connected bruh.
Excellent comment.
I don’t know if you’re watching me, but your videos always come out when I need the exact thing. Thank you.🎉
Could you do a video of how to get the paraglided fabrics that’s not amibo? Like the gleeok fabric or the chuchu fabric and yiga fabric? Please? Pretty please?
Just looking for this last night! Thank you sir!
Was also great to stock up on hylian wheat for thw town rebuild quest
Note for the breaking boxes. You don't need to swing/use an weapon and waste weapon durability. Just use your stasis, lift the box (metal and wood) or barrels and release. They'll fall and break open. It's tedious but sometimes you just don't want to waste your certain precious weapons on these breakables
All your videos for totk have been amazing, but especially thank you for this! I’ve been buying arrows from Beedle like a chump 😂
This video was far more helpful than i expected it to be...i thought i knew it all but i did not...good stuff...
Can't believe that people needed this video. Damn people running through the game as fast as possible, without taking the time to break boxes or barrels or actually look for stuff, I suppose? Anyone who took their time will have an maxed out arrow count before all 4 regional phenomenoms are done.
Such a great channel with great videos. Just suggesting you should make a video of how to get all of the paraglider fabrics.
Another tip: If you really don't have anything to break the crates with, just use your ultrahand ability. Just raise the crate and then drop it.
Got to thank you for your lynel killing stragey with the royal guard claymore+ Molduga jaw. Makes farming them a breeze and they drop loads of arrows too
3:58 Evil Gloom smiley face lol
Everytime a new Zelda gets released I come to see Austin John
Its crazy how many comments I see about arrows. Boxes are loaded with them all over the place. I use so many arrows and always have plenty
Thanks you so much I really needed this video
Austin John: uploads video about arrow farming
Me casually having 500+ arrows in inventory: Interesting...
Again with perfect timing. I was just thinking this as I'm using the new dupe method and I've actually almost hit less than 100 arrows for the first time since I got above it
Aw ☺️. Yes Austin my Dude. I am indeed having a good day. Very thoughtful time stamp.
I just used lynel multishot bows. Shoot one and pick up 5 lol
@@theretroinggamer1630 On a fire?
I've heard people complain that they're always out of arrows, and when you mention that the wooden crates have arrows in them these people are like "WHAAAT???!!"
I've never had a shortage of arrows. between buying them at stores, and breaking crates, you shouldn't even need to actually farm them.
I love having the cape on the evil spirit armor. The whole set looks great, I just wish it had a better perk than stealth up.
Even better, but highly unlikely to happen, i would love a transmog syatem in TotK.
I love you austin DEFINITELY fav youtuber
Love the content. Thanks for all the helpful guides
To get the korok mask you need to go to the RAMOBNUKAS lightroot which is under the korok forest. When you get there you will see a mighty banana trail follow that to the coliseum. There will be a hinox you will need to kill.
You can use Altra hand to break boxes as well. Just raise them in the air and let them fall, saves on weapons and fuse material.
I stopped using arrows for brightbloom seeds then next thing I knew I had 700+ arrows.
if anyone's iffy about fighting lynels or learning how to fight them, trust me when I say, it's worth it. I am already at 999 arrows glitchless just from farming them. In addition to arrows, they also drop some of the best fuse materials in the game, the best bows in the game AND energy for tank upgrades if you kill the ones in the depths
I look toward to these videos, reminds of when I waited for your new botw videos a couple years ago
I haven’t dripped below 200 arrows since the first few hours of the game. I’m just here for Austin’s videos haha
Austin John plays please tell me you sleep you are a video making machine get some rest my guy😭
Neat! I always felt like I was running out of arrows, and then I fought lynels lol
Not bad.
I appreciate this video,
I found it helpful.
Thank you AustinJohn. 💚
Just buy all the arrows at the Lookout Landing shop, run down to the fire in the shelter and rest, teleport to Lookout Landing Skyview Tower, run to shop and they are restocked! You can also place a Travel Medallion right in front of the arrows and teleport there instead after resting.
I watch these vids even if I dont need them, because I learn fun little details like the thing with wooden shields catching arrows
LOL, when I'm not playing Totk, I'm watching videos on it. I need my life back but I'm having too much fun
I love how arrows are pretty much handed to you everywhere. It's much better than how it was in BotW.
I found ur channel a few days ago and u have helped me sooo much thx u
One my first play through, my first temple was the water one and I ran out of arrows. So, I did the boss fight with only sidon’s shield and throwing splash fruit and chu chu jelly.
This guy pumps out content like no one else.
Also, if you have the majora’s mask link amiibo, it can drop anywhere from 0-2 bundles of five arrows.
